Keep an eye on your Club Event Calendar as July s a busy one wth the Fsh Fry, the bg raft up, and Canal Fest. Hopefully everyone sgned up to work Canal Fest and do ther far share. Thank you to Fleet Lberator Dave and hs crew for puttng on the great Boat Blessng events. f you haven t heard, the board and brdge have voted on a much needed face lft to our club house and garage. There wll be color charts around the bulletn board and some sort of tally sheet to help pck the colors. would lke to thank the Women s Auxlary for ther generosty for ths project to help make t happen; also n part to the unfortunate woman who ht our buldng we are glad no one was hurt sometmes sgns come from dfferent places. Hopefully ths project wll be done by the end of summer. hate to wrte ths paragraph and can t beleve that have to We have cameras that are revewed, and are addng more. f you re caught tamperng wth the door lock system or camera system, you may be expelled from the club. f you are caught stealng, you most defntely wll be prosecuted and thrown from the clubwth the support from the brdge and board. We are a yacht club (the best around), and conduct ourselves wth a certan level of respect for ourselves and the club property. You should be proud to be a part of such a great establshment. Ths tme last month we rased the flag on a new season and embarked on the voyage of a lfetme. As pen ths letter from the Msssspp delta, the blues they howl n the background, the sweet aroma of crawdads beckons me. From what understand mother nature has been dong her part to keep our plants watered, thank her. also thank those of you who have ptched to keep our grounds clean and vbrant. Who's that callng? UPS has arrved wth my provsons Sahlens hot dogs, Webers mustard and Bud lght. Next stop Cancuun, love the place but the cervesa' not so much and don't get me started on clantro! Membershp news has been quet, fortunately we have not lost any members ths past month. To the best of my knowledge no new applcatons have been posted. Well, The forecast for the frst Anne Meyer memoral boat blessng dd not look promsng that mornng. Even thou Anne dd not have a physcal hand n ths years boat blessng, beleve, as do others that her sprt embraced our memoral boat blessng and brought us the beautful blue skes and sunshne that day! The sunshne gleamng off the Edward M Cotter as she held her poston off Tonawanda sland ready to spray the sky wth her water cannons, after Father Joseph Propgla read the blessng of the boats was awesome! enjoyed leadng the parade of boats nto the canal and beng the lead boat, The Lberator and my crew, Kathy and fleet mate Robn Schmtt were the frst ones to be blessed, as we passed by the HYC brdge and the father who blessed us wth the Holy water, thought smelled smoke and turned to see Robn pattng herself off, laughng sayng mght be on fre! The BBQ pcnc was a great success and Anne kept the ran clouds to the North and South of us so everyone could enjoy a great evenng wth frends. would lke to thank all the members that came out and supported the BBQ. On the grll cookng those tasty dogs and half pound burgers were Kelly Brown and Bll Vaughan wth help from Sherwood and Ortz. Dan Vaughan cheese runner and AJ placng the cheese on when nstructed! Thank you guys great job! also had a lot of help form the lades auxlary and my fleet mates Jll Collns and Robn Schmtt who ran a 50/50 Thank you!
