2 FACTS ABOUT THE POOL The Bernardsville Municipal Pool Complex is conveniently located on three spacious acres on Seney Drive, across from the Bedwell School s playground. The complex consists of an 180,000 gallon main pool, a wading pool complete with rain tree and squirting porpoise, and an intermediate pool. There is also a picnic area with grills and full service snack bar, a play area and plenty of parking on location. Bernardsville Pool Early 1960 s WE HAVE WHAT YOU RE LOOKING FOR Whether you enjoy reading at poolside, taking advantage of our WiFi, or a vigorous exercising swim, you will enjoy doing it here, along with lots of other activities. The pool staff will provide planned programs such as games and fun for the youngsters, and ping-pong at NO CHARGE. (Some equipment may require a refundable deposit.) There are also special functions held at the pool such as family day, volleyball and movies. Why not have a party for a special someone? (Contact pool manager for details.) THE SWIM SEASON FOR 2015 This swim season will begin May 23 rd, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. and end on Labor Day at 6:00 p.m.

3 POOL HOURS The pool will open on a part time basis beginning May 23 rd, 2015, Saturdays 11:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m., and Sundays 12:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. until full time opening on Friday, June 19 th, The pool will be open Thursday, June 18th from 1:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. full time season begins Friday, June 19th at 11:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. The regular Hours are: Main Pool & Intermediate Pool Opening Day until July 31st Weekdays and Saturdays 11:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. Sunday and Holidays Noon 8:00 p.m. Baby / Wading Pool Opening Day until July 31st Weekdays 10:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. Saturdays and after Swim Lessons End (August 1) 11:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. Sundays and Holidays 12:00 Noon 8:00 p.m. Beginning August 1 st August 15th, pool closes at 7:30 p.m. August 15 th Labor day, pool closes at 7:00 pm Certain special events may require pool closings earlier than scheduled. New times will be posted prior to these events. In case of inclement weather, management reserves the right to close the pool without advance notice. Please contact the pool office if you have any questions. SNACK BAR WILL BE OPEN MAY 23rd. Operating hours: Noon 6:00 p.m.

4 SCHEDULE OF FEES Take advantage of the early registration discount offered in most categories. Discounts apply to applications received or postmarked by April 6th, 2015, and those that registered on line on or before April 6th, On or after April 7th, 2015, the discount no longer applies. One free guest pass will be given with each membership. Family Membership includes children who reside at parent s home, are full-time students, and have not reached their 23 rd birthday as of May 23th, on or before on or after 4/6/2015 4/7/2015 Resident $ (Includes 1 free guest pass) $ Non- resident $ (Includes 1 free guest pass) $ Babysitter* $ $ *Babysitter/Nanny must accompany child and be 16 years or older. Cost is additional to family membership. Childcare person is an individual who watches a child, and for a fee adds the child to the existing membership. The childcare person must be at least sixteen years of age and accompany child/children they watch. Childcare Fee Per Child $ $ Single Membership Age 13+ (Must be 13 prior to May 23rd, 2015) on or before on or after 4/6/2015 4/7/2015 Single Resident $ (Includes 1 free guest pass) $ Single Non-resident $ (Includes 1 free guest pass) $ Senior Citizens age 62+ (Must be 62 prior to May 23rd, 2015) Senior Residents No Charge No Charge Senior Non-Residents $ $ REFUNDS must be in writing to the Recreation Office 7 business days prior to the opening of the pool. A refund can not be given if the program has started. All refunds are subject to a processing fee.

5 TO JOIN If you are paying by credit card, log into: Credit card users will be charged a 3% processing fee. To receive an application, stop by the Recreation Office at Borough Hall, or you can call Recreation at , Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Or you can print the registration form on the Borough web site at: click on Recreation/Pool Membership Form, and mail or bring it to the Recreation office with payment at the address below. Please complete all parts of the registration form. When completed, mail or hand deliver with your check to: Recreation Office at Borough Hall 166 Mine Brook Road Bernardsville, NJ BADGES Important membership badge information New members must have a photo ID badge taken on your first visit to the pool. Returning member s 2014 ID photo badge will automatically be renewed/validated once you are registered for the 2015 season. Please retain your photo badges from the previous season. $5.00 for lost or reprinted badges. There will be a charge of A copy of the Municipal pool rules and regulations will be distributed. SWIM TEAM COMPETITION

6 SWIM TEAM COMPETITION The Swim Team competes in the Morris County Swim League. members up to and including the age of 18 are eligible. All student pool SWIM TEAM FEES Members Only $ (Including swim cap) $90.00 each additional child up to 5. 6 And above free. An active group of parents is involved with the Swim Team, and its valuable support is greatly appreciated by the Recreation Department, pool staff and swimmers. Please contact the Recreation Office if you would like to be a part of this support group. Pool members may now sign up for swim lessons and swim team once your 2015 membership has been processed. There will not be a second mail out of swim team and lessons information. SWIM LESSONS FOR EVERYONE! Swim Lessons Fee $90.00 Last year the swim lesson program was filled to capacity. Be sure to register early! Lessons will be daily for two weeks on week day mornings prior to pool opening. Registration is on a first paid, first served basis. The swim pool management reserves the right to cancel any class when insufficient registration warrants cancellation. IMPORTANT Swim Team and swim lessons book up quickly. Register early. All registrations will be handled through the Recreation Office. No in-person registration for these two programs will be accepted at the pool. Pool members may sign up for swim lessons and swim team once your 2015 membership has been processed. There will not be a second mail out of swim team and lessons information. Private lessons are available and can be scheduled after the season begins. $45.00 per ½ hour; $ for four ½ hour sessions. These can only be scheduled and paid for through the Recreation office directly.

GUEST POLICY Guest passes will be available in books of six passes for $50.00 and books of 10 passes for $80.00. Guest passes may also be purchased on a daily basis for $10.
