Jared Hoying drove in four runs, including a key two-run blast in the fifth inning off Hooks starter Matt Heidenreich (1-2). The top three in Frisco s lineup went 9-for-14 with four runs scored and seven RBIs. Heidenreich, who has allowed four home runs over his last two outings, yielded four runs on eight hits in five innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out five. PAGE 2 QUEVEDO QUEUED: RHP Carlos Quevedo is slated to be the first out of the pen tonight for the Hooks. He worked just 1 inning on Thursday, allowing an unearned run in the sixth. With one away in the frame, Hanser Alberto reached on an error and moved to second via an errant pickoff attempt by Quevedo. Alberto promptly scored on Odubel Herrera s single to left. He threw 2.2 scoreless innings of relief April 13 at Springfield, yielding 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4. In his Double-A debut April 8 against Tulsa at Whataburger Field, Quevedo struck out three and did not walk a batter in 1.2 innings. He allowed three hits, including a two-out solo home run off the bat of Kent Matthes in the sixth. The 23-year-old out of Valencia, VZ, made 2 relief appearances for Lancaster before being promoted to the Hooks, tossing 3.1 scoreless against High Desert. Quevedo went 6-7 with a 3.22 ERA and 7 saves in 40 appearances between Lexington and Lancaster last year. He struck out 96 and walked 16 over 86.2 IP, finishing the year with a 1.09 WHIP.
