1 WELCOME TO THE Held in Mpumalanga South Africa, Pre - Thursday Afternoon ORK SHAKEDOWN - : (Shakedown Stage - ork-olifantsgeraamte) - The shakedown stage will be held on a section of Stage 1 between the Lone Creek Falls road (D2220) and the Long Tom Pass (R532 Sabie-Lydenburg road). - From Nelspruit, proceed with either: (See map for All Stages & detailed map for Stage 1) - a. The R40 towards White River & then the R537 to Sabie b. The R37 towards Sabie/Lydenburg up to the T-Junction turn-off & then the R532 to Sabie. - Start of Shakedown: From Sabie proceed with Main Street (R532) north towards Graskop, turn LEFT in Lydenburg Road towards Bridal Veil Falls/Lone Creek Falls, drive out of Sabie past the Bridal Veils Falls and the ork Timbers Sawmill. The start of the shakedown stage starts on the left just past the end of the sawmill grounds. See Map for Stage 1 (refer GPS 2 ). - Middle of Shakedown: From Sabie proceed with the R532 towards Lydenburg up to either the 51/66 km or 51/0km Sign Post. On arrival, park your vehicle next the R532 at one of the points as per the map and watch the rally cars circulating on the stage. See detailed Map for Stage 1 (refer GPS 3). - ou are also welcome to browse around and view the rally teams at the Service Area next to the ork Sawmill on the D2220, as they change the set-up of their vehicles & then run the shakedown stage repeatedly to improve their performance. ORK Rally Rally Activities, Thursday 20 th April 2017 Thursday Evening - ORK PITSTOP - : - From Nelspruit for Ä60kms, proceed to the R40 (White River / Barberton road) and then travel towards White River, just before White River turn left at robot and travel towards Sabie (R537). - On arrival in Sabie, park your vehicle & join the various activities in central Sabie between the Town Hall and the SPAR Market Square, around Main (Hoof) Street. See the Town map. - There will activities for the Kids, a Kaskar race between the local schools between 14h30-16h00 and an Qhubeka Bike Race between 16h30-18h00. - ou are welcome to browse around this area and snack on the many goodies that are on sale by the locals at the various stalls. - ou can join in the fun and meet the different Rally Teams to view their cars and get some autographs and posters. - A pre-rally decal check and scrutineering of the rally cars will take place in front of the MTN shop on the Sabie Market Square from 16h00 until17h00. - Documentation for the rally will take place at the RIVERSIDE HALL on premises of the FLOREAT RIVERSIDE LODGE in Lydenburg Road.

3 GENERAL SPECTATING RULES / REQUESTS: - Please stand in safe spectating positions - see the guide on the Right & follow the instructions by our Crowd Control Marshals. - Motorsport South Africa request you not to Drink & Drive whilst spectating on this event we value the lives of other road users. ENTRANCE INTO ORK & MTO FORESTS : - Please note that Spectators are ONL allowed in the forests at the designated points as per this Guide. - Spectators are NOT allowed to drive into forests with their vehicles at any place, you may only walk in. - NO FIRES are allowed in or near forestry areas. INDEMNIT: MOTOR SPORT IS DANGEROUS While the Promoters and Organisers of the ORK RALL have taken every possible precaution for the safety of the spectators, it is impossible to guarantee their safety in view of the high speeds attained by the competitors. Entry to the special stages and other rally roads is therefore permitted upon the clear understanding that any spectator attending the rally appreciates the risks involved and waivers for himself / herself, his / hers successors, assigns or dependants, any claim or claims he / she might, save for this waiver, have against the promoters, organisers or beneficiaries or the owner or the lessor of this property, in respect of any injury or damage, however arising which he / she may suffer when attending this rally. Oncoming Rally cars - Ä3.2 km - Straight through Narrow Gate (enter ork - Sports Grounds) - Ä3.4 km - Fork Left & find a parking spot to the Left on the soccer field - Please Do Not Obstruct the flow of the Rally cars and service crews. - Walk around the outside perimeter of the bunted off service area & watch the servicing / repair activities of the rally teams. - The MTO-Rutland Remote Service Park is next to the Bedrock Rutland Mill on the R40 between White River and Hazyview and is Ä8.4km from White River (Ä6km from the big roundabout at Casterbridge). 1 st Car Due: 10h00, Rally cars will leave at 1 minute intervals - See map Town - From Nelspruit, proceed to the R40 (White River / Barberton road) and travel towards White River, just before White River turn left at robot towards Sabie (R537). - On arrival in Sabie at the Market Square area, park your vehicle to ensure a quick exit towards Graskop. - View the rally cars in the Pre-Start Holding Area (from 09h00 in the Town Hall parking area) & watch the flag-off 10H00 for the first 5 to 10 cars in the Sabie Market Square parking area. - The rally cars will drive from the start down Main Road out of Sabie towards Graskop, turn left to Klein Sabie & then through Simile where they will pass three Schools, before returning to Sabie & then drive out towards Lone Creek Falls for the Start of first Stage opposite the ork Sabie Sawmill. 23 Saturday, 22 nd April Day Two Day Two - Section Four: SPECIAL STAGE 12 - ORK Maggsleigh - 2 Stage Distance = km, 1 st Car Due: Start 12 = 14h05, End 12 = á14h21 ( See Map SS 11 & 12 ) - EXCELLENT SPECTATING - HIGHL RECOMMENDED - See Instructions for SS 11 & 12 as shown in Day Two - Section 3 SPECIAL STAGE 13 - ork - Spitskop->Sabie Stage Distance = km, 1 st Car Due: Start = 14h12, ( See Map SS 13 ) - START of STAGE: End = á14h22 (Close to the Witwater/Hendriksdal crossroads on R537 between Sabie & White River) - Spectating NOT RECOMMENDED as it is out of the spectating flow - The Start is on a gravel road Ä350m west of the Hendriksdal / Witwater crossroads, 12 km from Sabie on the R537 between Sabie & White River. - Limited Spectating if you walk-in Ä250m past the starting point, a fast left up-hill sweep over contours & then into the forest. - - First car 14h12 - MIDDLE of STAGE: (Close to Hendriksdal Village on a Gravel Road) - See instructions as for Stage 11 (& 12) up to: - Ä16.9 km - Crossroads, Turn Left towards Hendriksdal (8/0 km sign post on left) - Ä17.1 km - Straight over unused railway line ump down onto gravel road - Ä17.3 km - Fork Left - Ä17.5 km - Straight on, Crossroads/Fork (Gobonzela to Left / Soccer Field to Right) - Ä17.8 km - Straight on (Road to Right) - Ä18.1 km - Straight on (Road to Right) - Ä18.2 km - SPECTATING Straight ahead - Park next to road & walk up to spectating point. - GOOD Spectating, the rally cars will appear up-hill out of forest on Right - into a fast right sweep onto a major gravel road & away in the direction of Sabie. - GPS 18 - First car á14h15 - END of STAGE: (On a Gravel Road close to south side of Sabie) - Spectating NOT RECOMMENDED as the rally Cars use this gravel road to reach the Sabie-Final stage) - The road from the End of this stage at the Horse Shoe Bend just outside Sabie on the R532 and the Stop Control is Ä1.5 km from this point. - The finish is after a long straight into the Flying Finish No real Spectating value. - - First car á14h22 SPECIAL STAGE 14 ORK - -Grand Finale Stage Distance = 3.25 km, 1 st Car Due: Start = 15h00, End = á15h02 ( See Map SS 14 ) - EXCELLENT HIGHL RECOMMENDED A MUST SEE - Many EXCELLENT spectating points in the hidden valley below the Escom Power lines just South of Sabie at the Horse Shoe bend - START & END of STAGE: - (Both next to R532 just outside Sabie at big Horse Shoe bend opposite the ork Timbers forestry offices) Exit Sabie with R532 towards Lydenburg (Mashishing): km - From Point A in Sabie continue southwards with Main Street towards Nelspruit / Lydenburg (R532/R37), - Ä1.5 km - Straight on out of Sabie (Sabie Station to right) - Ä1.7 km - Straight on (Turn-Off to ork Forestry Offices to right) - Ä2.0 km - Straight on (Turn-Off to ESCOM sub Stations to Left) - Parking Areas ahead & to left Follow Marshals instruction PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK the ENTR / EXIT ROADS. - SEE MAP of Stage 14 for possible PARKING Areas & Spectating Points. - Please Park in a Safe Place & walk up / over the small hill to reach the SPECTATING AREA in the Valley under the Escom Power lines.

It futures a crossover bridge & its zig-zags down the hillside for EXCELLENT / HIGHL RECOMMENDED spectating in the valley below the Escom powerlines. - NO SPECTATOR VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE VALLE BELOW THE ESCOM POWERLINES. - NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUNTED-OFF ZIG-ZAG AREA BELOW THE ESCOM POWER LINES, STA NEXT TO THE TREES AND THE ORK GUESTS TENT. 25 - NO SPECTATORS will be ALLOWED inside the BUNTED-OFF AREAS on the Hillside where the RALL CARS will ZIG-ZAG down the slope. - Please SPECTATE on the EDGES of this area next to the Trees OR on the SLOPE in front of the ork Guests tents & Parc Ferme area. - GPS 18 - First car 15h00 Stage 14 GPS 18 FINISH OF THE RALL - After completing Stage 14 the rally cars will move into a Parc Ferme next to the ork Guest Hospitality tent, until the results are final. - A podium Champagne Spraying Ceremony / Prize Giving for the main class winners on the podium stage in front of the ORK Hospitality tent, will take place soon thereafter, i.e. once all cars have completed this stage (if there is no major protest actions from the competitors). - The winning cars in each class will later be moved to a Scrutineering Area for final specification verification. - GPS 18 - Podium Champagne Spray Ceremony á16h15 - Please stay on after the Champagne Spray Ceremony & Prize Giving have been completed. - There will be food stalls and a beer garden at the finish venue.
