49 Specifi cations 0-00 In series 0-00 there are two different types of folding doors: Endfold and centrefold. The series determines the maximum weight capacity per door, so by changing the track and the hangers you can easily increase the loading capacity from kg up to kg. These systems are available for both interior and exterior applications. ENDFOLD SERIES (Door leaf weight - kg) The endfold system uses a pivot set or hinges. In this system the maximum width is limited because the weight is distributed only to the other end. The panels can fold to either one or both sides of the opening and can also be stacked behind a reveal if required. The endfold system folds only on the other side of the opening and that is why it is the most common and the most popular system. 76 GENERAL INFO EU STANDARD EN 17 Helaform products have been tested in accordance with the European EN 17 test requirements. Helaform products have been tested in accordance with the European Test Standards EN 17 in an independent and accredited institute. The products are safe, durable, wear resistant and are maintenance free for decades. We give a year limited warranty against any manufacturing defects, breakages or excessive wear during normal use. The warranty only covers sliding door systems, which have been installed according to the manufacturer s instructions. The European Standard EN 17 defi nes objective quality criteria for a complete set of fi ttings for sliding doors. YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Warranty against any manufacturing defects, breakages or excessive wear during normal use. This warranty is limited to the free replacement of defective or broken components, including freight costs to the relative distributor or end customer. This warranty is only valid for manual straight sliding door installations where the Helaform products are used in accordance to the recommended capacity limitations and Helaform s assembly instructions. The system must use exclusively Helaform components. The warranty does not cover fatigue damages caused by external vibrations, fi xing errors or compatibility issues caused by negligent installation. Note before installing that due to product manufacturing there may occur dimensional variations in special products geometry, such as curve track length, radius of curvature and angle. Final angles and mounting locations must be checked by the client before mounting the track system. CRITERIA ARE DEFINED BY THE FOLLOWING TESTS: Load resistance The tracks, hangers and brackets are tested with a load equal to twice the rated maximum loading. Wear resistance Resistance is measured by the number of opening and closing cycles. All sliding door gears must remain in perfect condition throughout the test. Initial friction Measures the maximum force required to open and close the door. The test is performed with the maximum rated capacity.
