3 INTRODUCTION The rally will be run in compliance with the national regulations issued by the Swedish ASN, this invitation/supplementary regulations and any bulletins. All times CET. Responsibility: Anyone taking part in this rally is competing on his/her own responsibility and at his/her own risk. The Swedish ASN (SBF), the regional ASN (SDF), the organiser or officials cannot be held responsible, without being cause of, for any personal injuries or property damages which occurs during the rally and effects the competitor. Competitors and officials are by their entry to the rally giving their permission that personal information being registered in the database of the organiser as well as the data, in adequate situations, are published. 1. Visa Numbers - ASN Swedish ASN via no: RY-164 Issued on: Rally Sweden Historic This is a national historical rally in accordance to the international historical regulation Appendix-K. The length of the route is about 463,46 km with 8 special stages covering 135,75 km. The rally is divided in two legs with an overnight halt. The rally will run in accordance to Road Book. Figure based or descriptive organiser pace notes made by Bruno Berglund will be available in Swedish, Norwegian and English. Reconnaissance of the stages and do your own pace notes are allowed for competitors with co-driver licens, but there is only one passage/stage. Note! Implementation applies only competitors with co-driver license who have registered reconnaissance. All other training/reconnaissance on roads that Rally Sweden is using is not permitted after this supplementary regulations are published. 9.3 Championship competition The event is a round of RM, National Championship for Historic Rally Cars. Drivers and Co-drivers with Swedish national/international license are entitled to compete for the RM. 9.4 Signage International. The box number is situated at main arrow on the right side. 9.5 Road surface Snow, ice and/or frozen gravel. 4

NO DRAFT Note! As the reconnaissans are taking place at the same time as scrutineering a representive for the competitor (ex.a mechanic) may bring the rally car to scrutineering. Rally studded tyres are forbidden in the workshop at Stjerneskolan. All competitors must make provisions in their rally cars for the installation of the tracking- and timing equipment and the system must be installed before the car is brought to scrutineering. Note! Rally studded tyres are forbidden in the workshop at Stjerneskolan Camera If a camera is mounted it should be according to TR 5.23 (Swedish ASN) and done before the srutineering. Video filming for commercial use must be authorized by the Swedish ASN. Mounting of the camera requires approval at the scrutineering. 12 COMPETITORS, LICENSES, AND NUMBER OF ENTRANTS 12.1 Competitors, criteria for acceptance of entries Those wishing to take part in Rally Sweden Historic 2018 must fill in the electronic entry form published on duly completed before the closing date for entries. Drivers from outside Sweden must also send in a copy of the first page of the HTP document together with the entryform. 6

7 12.2 Licenses The rally is open for Swedish A, B and C drivers and co-drivers with a valid license for 2018, as well as foreign drivers with valid license for Foreign drivers must submit an approval from their ASN by mail to historic@rallysweden.com 12.3 Number of entrants and method of elimination The number of accepted entries will be depending on the number of entries in the WRC-event. The organiser reserves the right to decide which entries will be accepted. 13 CAR CLASSES, STARTING ORDER 13.1 Car classes Cars complying with the FIA Appendix K and with a valid FIA HTP document. NO DRAFT. Class 1: up to and including Class 2-5: up to and including Class 6-7: up to and including Class 8: up to and including Class 9: up to and including Class 10: up to and including Valid HTP including FIA homologation document shall be presented. NOTE! Drivers from outside Sweden must also send in a copy of the first page of the HTP document together with the entryform. On day2 the fastest car starts first, according to results on day 1, except for the 15 first cars that will be in reversed order. Clerk of the course has the right to re-locate entrants due to safety reasons Re-start A notification of the intention to restart must be given to the organiser as soon as possible, not later then 1 h before the publication of the startinglist. A competitor who retires on Day 1 will have the possibility to restart Day 2 after rescrutineering, with a time penalty of 3 minutes per special stage that has not been completed. The time penalty will be added to the fastest stage time in there own class. All service on the car must be done at the Service park in Torsby. To restart day 2 the competitor must be at TC 8D Parc fermé out no later then 30 minutes before the competitor s start time for the rescrutineering Power Stage-last SS Winner of Power Stage -last stage, are going to gain a deduction of 15 sec from the total time and a free start to Rally Sweden Historic 2019, 2nd will have a deduction of 10 sec, 3rd a deductionof 5 sec from total time. More information together with start confirmation. 7

8 14 ADVERTISING Organisers advertising: The organiser will use its rights. The organiser reserves the right, in accordance with Swedish ASN regulations, to use advertising on the competitor s cars. More information in Bulletin 1. Freehold purchase of advertising space is not possible. 15 TEAM COMPETITIONS Not applied. 16 OTHER REGULATIONS 16.1 Tyre Tyre Regulations: Only tyres in accordance to FIA Appendix K Art. 8.4 and winter tyres according approved by the Swedish ASN are permitted, number of tyres are free. Road section tyres are permitted. Rally studded tyres are not permitted in the scrutineering hall. Normal studded tyres are permitted National and specific regulations Competing cars must be equipped with two snow shovels, two first aid kits and a reflective triangle. In addition, in Norway a yellow jacket to use if the car stops on roadsection is mandatory Service park GPS -coordinaters:n E The service park is located at the Airport in Torsby. A drawing of Torsby Service Park showing the designated service area for each competitor will be issued together with the confirmation of entry. See map issued with the confirmation of entry Trailer Parking See drawing issued together with the confirmation of entry Application mechanics Only applies if the driver has a swedish licens.application for the insurance for mechanics must be completed and submitted at the administrative check. The application will be issued together with the confirmation of entry. The application will also be available on for download. 16.4Time keeping Electronic startsystem and will be measured by 1/10 of a second. A new timing system will be used in the WRC,and will be adopted for Rally Sweden Historic, more information issued in theconfirmation of entry. There will be a crew meeting on Thursday with compulsory attendance. 8

9 16.5 Tracking equipment Information will be sent in the confirmation of entry. 17 ENTREE FEE Entree fee and pace notes Entree fee: SEK. + 6 % VAT = SEK. Pace notes: The price for pace notes 943 SEK + 6 %VAT =1000 SEK. Competitor who is accepted on the entry list shall pay the entry fee to Rally Sweden on Friday 26 th January at the latest. Ordered pace notes (this also apply to competitors who will attend reconnaissance ) should be paid together with the entry fee. 10 19 CANCELLATION After approval from the Stewards, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the event. 20 PRIZES, POINTS, TIE, PRIZE GIVING 20.1 PRIZES Prizes will be awarded top three overall and top three in each class POINTS According to National Championship for Historic Rally Cars regulations, see Class points TIE In case of a tie the stage time on SS1, SS2 etc will determine PRIZE GIVING Prize giving for the Overall winner, 2nd and 3rd will be on the Podium in the Service Park after finish. Prize giving for each Class will be at Historic Lounge Dinner. Booking in advance is necessary. 21 WITHDRAWAL Any withdrawal of the entry shall be made to Rally Sweden AB, historic@rallysweden.com If the entry is withdrawn before 26 th January % of the entry fee will be reimbursed. If withdrawing after this date, the entry fee will be keept by the organiser. If there has not been a payment an invoice will be issued. 22 INFORMATIONS Clerk of the course Hasse Joansson +46(0) Secretary of the Rally Ann-Louise Pettersson +46(0) WAIVERS Waiver from the speed limits on the special stages has been applied for to the regional government in the county of Värmland. 24 FUEL AND OIL Service restrictions The service restrictions in accordance to Road Book must be obeyed. It is permitted to refuel at petrol stations along the route. The environmental instruction at service in accordance to the national regulation issued by the Swedish ASN must be obeyed. 25 PLANNED BREAKS See Itinerary. 10

11 26 TARGET TIMES AND MAXIMUM TIMES In accordance to the regulations issued by the Swedish ASN: Maximum permitted lateness between two TCs are 15 minutes. Maximum permitted lateness per Day is 30 minutes and 60 minutes for the whole rally. 27 OFFICIAL NOTICE BOARD Official notice board will be located at Rally HQ, Sunne. This insurance is usually included in the cars own traffic insurance policy which is then guaranteed by the Swedish trafiic insurance law. In Sweden, the cars traffic insurance (including the third part risk insurance) is valid both on road sections and special stages and incorporates the Swedish Traffic Damage Act which covers both personal injury and damage to property. Bodily injury caused by the insured vehicle to the driver, passenger and person outside the vehicle are under certain circumstances covered by the vehicles motor third part insurance. Nontheless all competitors are advised to obtain their own Personal Accident Insurance.The Trafikförsäkringsföreningen in Sweden is an organisation including all insurance companies that insure vehicles. The main purpose of the organization is to regulate traffic injuries caused by unknown, uninsured or foreign vehicles. 11

12 29.2 Swedish registered cars If competitors, with Swedish registered cars, are insured against material and/or windscreen damage it will not be valid during competition Cars insured by foreign companies All cars participating in the rally must have a valid obligatory traffic insurance towards third parties. In Sweden and Norway the Green Card (International Motor Insurance Card) system is applied. For cars coming from countries outside the Green Card system and EEA-countries, a Nordic frontier insurance must be taken at the border. Traffic insurance guarantees competitor s cover for civil responsibility towards third parties on road sections Accident insurance in Sweden The Swedish Traffic Damage Act is enforced. Full details of the insurance policy may be found at: victims.pdf 29.5 Insurance amounts Maximum compensation in case of damage is SEK Maximum compensation regardring organiser liability insurance is SEK Accident insurance in Norway The Norwegian Traffic Damage Act is enforced Accident Insurance on special stages The organiser will issue third part insurance cover valid on special stages for all cars. Competitors and organisers property is excluded Insurance Amount The maximum compensation in case of third part damage is unlimited (personal damage). 15 15 18 FEBRUARY 2018 CLOSER TO WINTER TEST. AUTHENTIC TEST STAGES. Due to popular demand from the competing teams, Rally Sweden can together with our partners in the business now offer test stages in close proximity to the competition area. Focus will be during the weeks prior to Rally Sweden but we have stages in northern Värmland that will be available for testing already in December. Conditions of the test stages will be equivalent to those in competition. Every test area has at least two stages with different characteristics and a separate area serving as a service park. All test stages are presented with maps complete with GPS-coordinates. Rally Sweden takes responsibility for restoring all roads to their original condition. During testing every stage will have a stage commander and safety marshals on staff in accordance with the stage safety plan. Ambulance and other rescue vehicles will be present according to need. Toilets are available at service points. All permits are handled by Rally Sweden. All other services like booking, accommodation, catering and so on will be handled upon request.
