He became the quickest UF baseball coach to reach the 400-win mark earlier this year against Miami, taking just 590 games to accomplish the feat. O Sullivan has taken the Gators to 5 of its 10 CWS trips ( , ). 1. Dave Fuller ( ) (.611) 2. KEVIN O SULLIVAN (2008-) (.681) 3. Joe Arnold ( ) (.640) CLIMBING THE RECORD BOOK ALEX FAEDO picked up his 26th career victory with 6.0 shutout innings in a 11-2 win against Ole Miss. His career win percentage of.813 (26-6 record) ranks first in school history among pitchers who have recorded at least 20 decisions. Faedo is tied for fifth in school history with 26 wins in his career. Marc Valdes (31 wins, ) holds the UF record. #FEELTHEBYRNE Sophomore MICHAEL BYRNE set a new school record with his 14th save of the year in a 5-4 win against Auburn in the SEC Tournament. He passed Shaun Anderson (2016), Josh Fogg (1998) and Danny Wheeler (1994) who were tied at 13. After making three starts early in the year with good success (2.40 ERA, 15.0 IP), Byrne moved to the bullpen where he has become even more valuable. In 26 relief appearances, Byrne has a 1.63 ERA in 38.2 innings. He has allowed just one run in his last 14 outings and only five of 24 inherited runners have scored on the season. REPLACING RIVERA Junior catcher Mike Rivera was off to a hot start in conference play before going down with an injury on April 11 at Florida State. He had surgery to repair a broken hamate bone in his left hand and missed the rest of the SEC season, but classmates Mark Kolozsvary and JJ Schwarz picked up the slack in his abscence, combining for a.338 average with 17 RBI.
