The Gators are 8-4 (.667) in league play, two games behind No. 5 South Carolina (28-5/10-2 SEC), while the Hogs are 4-8 (.333) and are chasing No. 8 Mississippi State (23-9-1/8-4 SEC) in the West. QUICK HITS ABOUT THE GATORS ff Florida is No. 2 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and is No. 1 in the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) according to the NCAA. ff The Gators have split their four SEC series in alternating fashion. UF swept Missouri at home, dropped two out of three games at Kentucky (W, L, L), swept No. 1 Texas A&M at home and fell twice to No. 10 Mississippi State at home (W, L, L). ff The trip to Fayetteville marks the halfway point of the league s 10 series. Kevin O Sullivan s club is 6-3 (.667) in road games and 2-0 (1.000) at neutral sites. ff After facing the Hogs, the Orange and Blue hosts Georgia, travels to No. 5 South Carolina and Tennessee on consecutive weekends, wraps up its home schedule against No. 4 Vanderbilt and concludes the regular season at No. 12 LSU. ff Junior left-hander A.J. Puk will start Thursday night s opener, his first action since April 3 against top-ranked Texas A&M (1.0 IP, 2 K). ff Friday night s starter, junior righty Logan Shore, has captured his last 11 decisions dating back to a loss in last season s opener versus Auburn on May 14. He is seeking to tie the school record held by Russ Kibler during the 1984 season. ff The Gators have not played a series at Baum Stadium since the 2011 season, when Arkansas claimed two of three matchups by scores of 4-3, 5-3 and 3-5. ff In five career games against Arkansas, junior outfielder Buddy Reed (.303, 27 runs, 20 RBI, 16 stolen bases) is 7-for-16 (.438). ff Entering the weekend, sophomore outfielder Jeremy Vasquez (.321, 17 runs, 12 RBI) boasts a career-high nine-game hitting streak in which he is 14-for-30 (.467). ff The trio of Dalton Guthrie, JJ Schwarz and Peter Alonso powered No. 2 Florida to an 8-2 win over No. 6 Florida State on Tuesday night at Dick Howser Stadium. The Gators completed a sweep of the Sunshine Showdown with their 10th victory over the Seminoles in the last 12 meetings. ff The five straight triumphs in the series match Florida s longest stretch against FSU and O Sullivan has now guided UF to season sweeps in 2012, 2014 and 2016 during the annual series played in Gainesville, Jacksonville and Tallahassee. ff Guthrie went 3-for-5 out of the leadoff spot and drove in two runs, Schwarz was 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs and a solo homer and Alonso was 3-for-5 as part of the Gators 12-hit attack. ff Freshman right-hander Jackson Kowar (3-0, 3.41) registered seven strikeouts over four innings, while junior right-hander Frank Rubio (2-0, 5.59) collected his second win of the campaign. ff Junior left-hander Kirby Snead (3-0, 0.72) made his team-leading 21st appearance and junior right-hander Shaun Anderson (3-0, 1.14) has a team-high six saves and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 35 to 1. Head coach Kevin O Sullivan is 9-14 (.391) against Arkansas, 6-6 (.500) in Gainesville, 1-5 (.167) in Fayetteville and 2-3 (.400) at the SEC Tournament. The Hogs are the only school in the SEC West that O Sullivan has a losing record against and one of two schools in the league to have the upper hand on the Gators during his tenure (Kentucky has a edge). LAST MEETING BETWEEN FLORIDA & ARKANSAS Left-hander A.J. Puk fired a three-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts as fourth-seeded Florida advanced to the semifinals of the 2015 SEC Tournament by eliminating fifth-seeded Arkansas, 10-0, on May 22 at the Hoover Met. The game was halted in the seventh inning due to the mercy rule. Puk continued a strong stretch of recent performances by reaching double-digits in strikeouts for the third time in his last four outings. The southpaw yielded three singles and he was one shy of his career-best total of a dozen strikeouts set on May 8 at Vanderbilt. In tossing his first career shutout, Puk was supported by a balanced Gator offense that banged out 11 hits from seven of its nine starters and had seven different players drive in a run. Buddy Reed was 3-for-3, Dalton Guthrie was 2-for-4 and scored twice, while JJ Schwarz was 2-for-3 with a couple of runs and an RBI. RAZORBACKS RALLIED IN HOOVER TO DOWN THE GATORS In the teams first meeting last season, No. 24 Arkansas tallied three runs in the ninth inning to defeat No. 7 Florida, 7-6, on May 20 at the 2015 SEC Tournament. With UF three outs from securing the win, Andrew Benintendi, the 2015 SEC Player of the Year, brought the Hogs within 6-5 by leading off the ninth with a homer to right center off of Bobby Poyner. After a fly out by Tyler Spoon, Rick Nomura (3-for-4, three runs) drew a walk. Poyner and Bobby Wernes (2-for-4) then waged an intense back-and-forth battle before Wernes belted a go-ahead, two-run shot to left field on the 12th pitch of the at bat. Buddy Reed opened the bottom of the ninth with a base-hit up the middle and moved into scoring position on a grounder by Josh Tobias. A wild pitch by Zach Jackson pushed Reed to third base with two down but the right-hander closed the contest by striking out pinch hitter Jeremy Vasquez to collect his sixth save and secure the win for Jackson Lowery. The Gators are 8-4 (.667) through four SEC series, while the Razorbacks are 4-8 (.333). PUK GETS THE NOD IN THE LID-LIFTER Junior left-hander A.J. Puk (1-2, 3.38) will be making his eighth start of the season for the Gators and will oppose Razorbacks junior right-hander Dominic Taccolini (3-1, 5.31) in Thursday s opener. Puk has 36 strikeouts and allowed 12 walks over 29.1 innings, while limiting opponents to a.193 batting average. His last outing was on April 3 against No. 1 Texas A&M, when he struck out two batters in the first inning before leaving his start after 11 pitches. SHORE FOR GAME TWO In a matchup of right-handers, junior Logan Shore (6-0, 2.66) will meet UA s Keaton McKinney (1-1, 6.25) on Friday night. In his eight starts this season, Shore has totaled 53 strikeouts and permitted eight walks in 47.1 innings. He out-dueled Mississippi State s Dakota Hudson last Friday night for the win, giving up two runs over 5.2 innings in the 8-2 victory. LOOKING FOR A DOZEN W S Logan Shore notched victories in his last five starts of 2015 and has claimed his first six decisions of the campaign. The Gators school record for consecutive wins is 12, set by Russ Kibler during the 1984 season. FAEDO TO WRAP UP THE SERIES WITH THE HOGS Sophomore Alex Faedo (6-1, 3.57), who leads the Orange and Blue with 65 strikeouts in a team-high 47.2 innings, will face an Arkansas pitcher to be announced on Saturday afternoon. Faedo suffered his first loss of the year against No. 10 Mississippi State in game two (5.0 IP, 10 H, 9 R, 5 K, 1 BB). PROTECTING THE HOUSE Arkansas is 17-5 (.773) at Baum Stadium this year, including 4-2 (.667) in SEC play. Florida is 1-2 (.333) in SEC road games. OMAHA BLOODLINES The Gators and Hogs were part of the four-team SEC contingent at the 2015 NCAA College World Series, joining LSU and Vanderbilt. LAST TIME OUT - SWEEEPING THE SEMINOLES The trio of Dalton Guthrie, JJ Schwarz and Peter Alonso powered No. 2 Florida to an 8-2 win over No. 6 Florida State on Tuesday night at Dick Howser Stadium. The Gators (30-5) completed a sweep of the Sunshine Showdown with their 10th victory over the Seminoles (22-9) in the last 12 meetings. Guthrie went 3-for-5 out of the leadoff spot and drove in two runs, Schwarz was 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs and a solo homer and Alonso was 3-for-5 as part of the Gators 12-hit attack. Freshman Jackson Kowar registered seven strikeouts over four innings, while junior Frank Rubio (2-0) collected his second win of the campaign. Over the three games versus the Seminoles, Florida held a 17-4 scoring advantage and its pitching staff compiled a 1.00 earned run average, with 30 strikeouts in 27 innings. DRIVE FOR FIVE ACHIEVED UF secured its fifth straight triumph in the series with Florida State, which tied its longest stretch of success versus Seminoles, done three other times (last was from April 9, 2013-March 31, 2015). EVEN YEARS MAGIC Florida also swept all three meetings against Florida State during the 2012 and 2014 seasons. In 12, the Gators won by scores of 9-2 (Gainesville), 4-1 (Jacksonville) and 6-3 (Tallahassee) and in 14 emerged victories 3-1 (Gainesville), 4-1 (Jacksonville) and 8-0 (Tallahassee). FACING THE IRON Florida sports a 10-3 (.769) record against ranked teams in 16 and is 8-3 (.727) against top-10 squads after taking two of three contests at No. 6 Miami, edging No. 8 Florida State, 3-2, on March 29, sweeping a home series with No. 1 Texas A&M, falling twice

STREAKING ALONG Before last Saturday night s 10-4 setback, Florida s last home loss had been to Auburn on May 14, 2015, 4-1. The club had notched a school-record 29 straight wins at home. The most victories at McKethan Stadium occurred in 1998, when the squad was 35-5 (.875). The team s most wins under Kevin O Sullivan in a campaign on its own turf is 34, as Florida went 34-7 (.829) in CLOSING THE DEAL Although the Gators 12 saves have come from six different pitchers, junior Shaun Anderson locked down the closer spot with three solid relief outings against Missouri. The right-hander struck out all three batters he faced in the 10th inning of the SEC opener March 18 and became the winning pitcher when Peter Alonso delivered a walk-off RBI single. He earned the save in game two of the series by retiring all four batters that he faced and preserved Sunday s 7-5 win with a scoreless ninth. Anderson is 3-0 with six saves and a 1.14 ERA in 23.2 innings and has 35 strikeouts and one walk. FAST STARTERS Florida has out-scored opponents by a margin in the first inning this season, is 14-0 when scoring in the opening frame and 19-1 (.950) when scoring first. KIDDIE CORPS PROVIDING IMPACT Welcoming the nation s top recruiting class according to Collegiate Baseball, head coach Kevin O Sullivan is routinely starting up to three freshmen each game - third baseman Jonathan India, second baseman Deacon Liput and left fielder Nelson Maldonado. PITCHING STAFF S FAVORITE LETTER...K Florida leads the country with 369 strikeouts in innings and has reached double-digit K totals 23 times in 35 games. In comparison, the pitching corps had 20 games with 10 or more punchouts in 70 games last year. UF is No. 2 in strikeouts per 9 innings (10.8), just behind Vanderbilt (10.9). FLASHING THE LEATHER The Gators are No. 4 in the nation in fielding percentage with a.983 clip - with 22 errors in 35 contests this season. UF was tops in the country last year with a school-record.984 clip. MID-WEEK SUCCESS Freshman Nelson Maldonado drove in three runs and homered as No. 1 Florida defeated Jacksonville, 7-2, on April 5. The Gators collected their fifth straight win and also picked up their 28th consecutive triumph at McKethan Stadium in the first of two meetings with the Dolphins this season. Sophomore left-hander Scott Moss (1-0) tossed three scoreless and hitless innings with four strikeouts on a pitch count to collect his first career victory. UF s offense totaled 12 hits for the fourth consecutive outing, with sophomore Dalton Guthrie, Maldonado, junior Buddy Reed and sophomore Jeremy Vasquez chipping in with two hits apiece. RUN, BUDDY, RUN! Junior Buddy Reed had his first multiple-theft outing of the season when he stole second and third base in the fifth inning against Jacksonville. He is 16-for-18 (.889) on the basepaths, tops on the Gators and third in the SEC, and is two shy of his career best (18-for-26) from last season. SNEAD STEPPING TO THE FOREFRONT Junior Kirby Snead has developed into an excellent situational lefty out of the bullpen. Snead is 3-0 with a 0.72 ERA (25 IP, 21 H, 21 K, 8 BB) in a team-high 21 appearances. Snead earned two victories against No. 1 Texas A&M, the first on Friday night and the second on Sunday. DUNNING BECOMING AN EFFECTIVE WEAPON Junior Dane Dunning entered the season as the Gators No. 4 starter and has made four midweek starts. However, the righthander is also being used out of the bullpen on weekends. In 37.1 innings, Dunning (2-2, 2.89) has 43 strikeouts and eight walks, to go along with two saves. The righty tossed three scoreless frames in game two with Texas A&M, with four strikeouts and three hits, to clinch the series over the Aggies and induced a bases-loaded grounder to escape a jam against Jacksonville. GATORS CLINCHED SEASON SERIES OVER SEMINOLES Freshman right-hander Jackson Kowar limited No. 8 Florida State to one run over five innings as No. 3 Florida notched a 3-2 victory on March 29 at The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. A crowd of 9,035 fans watched the Gators secure the regularseason series and emerge victorious for the ninth time in the last 11 meetings between the Sunshine State rivals. Kowar (3-0) scattered five hits, registered four strikeouts and allowed one walk before freshman Brady Singer entered the game with a runner aboard in the sixth. The righty totaled three strikeouts, yielded two hits and an unearned run in three innings and junior Shaun Anderson picked up his fourth save with a perfect ninth in which he had a pair of strikeouts. Freshman Cal Raleigh had given the Seminoles a 1-0 lead in the first inning with a two-out homer to right field. Sophomore Mike Rivera moved the Gators in front, 2-1, the following inning with his team-leading sixth homer of the season. Freshman Deacon Liput had singled up the middle against sophomore Drew Carlton (4-1) and Rivera sent a 0-1 pitch over the left-field fence. After freshman Jonathan India drew a leadoff walk from freshman Cole Sands and stole second base with one down in the third, junior Buddy Reed (2-for-4) roped an RBI triple into the right-field corner for a 3-1 score. STREAKS SNAPPED BY THE WILDCATS Florida s 17-game winning streak was halted by Kentucky on March 26, 7-4, then the Wildcats claimed the series on Sunday with a 5-4 win in 10 innings. The squad was bidding to tie the school record of 18 straight victories set in The Gators had captured eight consecutive series dating back to a 2-1 series loss to UK from April 24-26, 2015, and had not dropped consecutive outings since last April 24 & 25 to the Blue and White by scores of 3-0 and 7-6. MALDONADO IN THE ZONE Freshman Nelson Maldonado was a sizzling 8-for-13 (.615) in the series at Kentucky, with multiple hits in every contest, two homers and two doubles. The rookie went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, had one RBI and scored in the finale and was 3-for-4 in game two against the Wildcats. Maldonado belted a pair of homers during his career-best 3-for-5 effort in Friday s win, with three RBI and three runs. HAT TRICK OF WALK-OFFS Florida has captured three of its wins by walk-off - Feb. 24 against Eastern Michigan (Buddy Reed reaches on catcher s interference with the bases loaded), March 5 against Dartmouth (leadoff homer in the 12th by Reed) and March 18 against Missouri (bases-loaded RBI single by Peter Alonso). KENTUCKY TOOK TWO IN LEXINGTON After taking game one at Kentucky, 12-5, the Gators dropped

The Wildcats scored twice in the frame after the Gators had taken a 4-3 lead. In the top of the 10th, junior Buddy Reed reached on an error and moved to second on a wild pitch. JJ Schwarz gave the Gators a 4-3 lead with an RBI single into center field to score Reed. Sophomore RHP Alex Faedo struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings but was not involved in the decision. Senior Dorian Hairston snapped a 1-1 tie with a three-run homer in the fourth inning during Kentucky s 7-4 win on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats ended the Gators winning streak at 17 games, one shy of the school record set during the 2012 season. UK tallied three runs in both the fourth and fifth innings. Freshmen Nelson Maldonado (3-for-4) and Jonathan India (2-for-4) had multiple-hit outings for the second straight day to lead the Gator offense, while junior LHP A.J. Puk was on the hook for the setback. Maldonado homered twice and drove in three runs and India chipped in with three RBI as UF posted a 12-5 win in the opener. Junior RHP Logan Shore won his 10th straight decision and was supported by an offense that had four players turn in multiple-hit efforts, highlighted by Maldonado (3-for-5, three runs). Dalton Guthrie was 2-for-4 out of the leadoff spot and scored twice, Reed was 2-for-5 with the go-ahead RBI single and India (2-for-5) scored twice and matched his career best with three RBI. After trailing 1-0, Florida answered in the third with three runs on three hits to take a 3-1 lead. Maldonado opened the frame with his third homer to right field. India followed with a double into right center, went to third on a passed ball and Guthrie was hit by a pitch for runners on the corners. Reed put the Gators in front with an RBI single up the middle to drive in India and Schwarz delivered an RBI grounder to bring home Guthrie. MISCELLANEOUS RECORDS Florida s record when... The Gators extended their winning streak to 16 games and matched their school-record stretch of 24 victories at McKethan Stadium with the triumph. Junior Frank Rubio notched his first career victory by working 1.1 innings, while freshman Brady Singer retired both batters he faced in the ninth inning to pick up his first save. UF s six pitchers on the night accounted for 11 strikeouts. FAU junior Stephen Kerr opened the game with a homer into the left-field bleachers off of freshman Jackson Kowar. The Gators grabbed a 2-1 lead in the second inning against sophomore David McKay when freshman Nelson Maldonado delivered an RBI triple to drive in freshman Deacon Liput and also scored on the play. Liput had delivered a one-out double and Maldonado followed his second triple in as many games to bring across his teammate. A throwing error on the relay by junior CJ Chatham enabled Maldonado to come home with the decisive run. Over 3.1 innings, the righty totaled six strikeouts and permitted one hit. Reed went 3-for-4 and Anderson picked up his second save in as many days as the Gators held off Missouri, 7-5, to sweep the series on Sunday. The Tigers had pulled to within 6-5 with a four-run sixth inning before being kept at bay by four Florida relievers. Faedo struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings to earn the decision and was followed to the mound by junior Kirby Snead (0.2 IP, 2 H), sophomore Scott Moss (0.1 IP), junior Dane Dunning (1.1 IP, 2 K) and Anderson (1.0 IP, 1 H, 1 K). Puk registered a season-high 11 strikeouts over seven shutout innings as UF secured the series with a 6-2 win on Saturday night. In his longest start of the season, Puk surrendered three hits and was one strikeout shy of his career high to lift the Gators. Freshman Deacon Liput (second inning), junior Peter Alonso (sixth inning) and Rivera (eighth inning) each homered for Florida, while India (2-for-3) drove in a pair of runs. Anderson picked up his second save of the year by retiring all four batters that he faced. Alonso delivered a walk-off RBI single in the 10th inning to bring home sophomore Nick Horvath as Florida defeated Missouri, 4-3, in the league opener. The Tigers had tied the game on a two-out single in the ninth. After Anderson struck out the side in the top of the 10th, Horvath drew a leadoff walk. A grounder by sophomore Dalton Guthrie pushed Horvath into scoring position and Reed (2-for-4) and sophomore JJ Schwarz earned back-to-back free passes to load the bases. Facing a full count, Alonso singled through the left side of the infield to drive in Horvath. Shore had a career-high 10 strikeouts over 5.1 innings but was not involved in the decision. GATORS TOOK ROUND ONE WITH FSU No. 1 Florida topped No. 11 Florida State, 6-0, on March 15 in the first of the squads three Sunshine Showdown matchups this season. With their first shutout of the Seminoles in Gainesville since March 3, 1994, the Gators raised their winning streak to 12 games in front of a crowd of 5,917, the fifth-largest in McKethan Stadium history. Junior Dane Dunning (2-0) scattered seven hits and totaled five strikeouts over 5.2 innings to earn the victory and was followed to the mound by freshman Jackson Kowar (2.0 IP, 1 H, 3 K), junior Kirby Snead (0.1 IP, 1 K) and junior Shaun Anderson (1.0 IP, 1 H, 2 K). The Gators turned a season-high three double plays and their pitching staff notched 11 strikeouts and permitted one walk. Freshman Nelson Maldonado opened the scoring with a solo homer in the second inning off of freshman Tyler Holton (0-2). It was his second homer in the past three games and landed in the left-field bleachers. The Seminoles put their first two runners of the third inning aboard but Dunning had junior Quincy Nieporte ground into an inning-ending double play. In the bottom of the frame, sophomore JJ Schwarz (3-for-5) led off with a single into left field and junior Peter Alonso followed with his fourth homer to deep left field for a 3-0 Gator advantage. Schwarz boosted Florida s margin to 4-0 with a two-out RBI single up the middle in the fourth that scored junior Buddy Reed. The Gators tacked on two more runs in the fifth on an RBI single by freshman Jonathan India and sophomore Jeremy Vasquez came home on a wild pitch with the bases full. FAEDO EARNED WEEKLY ACCOLADES Florida sophomore Alex Faedo was chosen as the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week on March 14 for the first time in his career after notching career highs in innings pitched (8.1) and strikeouts (13) in a 3-1 victory over Harvard on Saturday. Sharing the weekly accolade with Vanderbilt s Jordan Sheffield, Faedo became the second recipient from the Gators this season, as junior right-hander Logan Shore earned the honor on Feb. 29. In addition, Faedo was recognized as one of Louisville Slugger s National Players of the Week by Collegiate Baseball. Faedo s Highlights Retired the first 19 Harvard hitters of the series finale on Saturday night until yielding a one-out single in the seventh inning Totaled career highs in innings pitched (8.1) and strikeouts (13) in improving to 4-0 on the campaign Lowered his ERA to 1.42, the best for a Gator starter, and did not issue any walks Gave up two hits and an unearned run It marked the second time this season that Faedo had carried a no-hitter deep into a game, as he threw 6.1 innings of hitless ball at No. 6 Miami on Feb. 28 GATORS POSTED MID-WEEK SWEEP Junior Shaun Anderson induced a game-ending grounder with the tying run on third base as No. 1 Florida nipped North Florida, 5-4, on March 9 at McKethan Stadium. Anderson collected his first save of the season to help the Gators take both ends of a home-and-home mid-week series. Anderson had senior Keith Skinner ground out to complete the contest and preserve the triumph for freshman Jackson Kowar (2-0). Kowar went a career-high six innings in his second start. After the Ospreys grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first, sophomore Mike Rivera delivered a triple with the bases full for a 3-1 Florida advantage. Sophomore Dalton Guthrie (2-for-3) opened with a single but was erased on a fielder s choice by junior Buddy Reed. After Reed stole second, junior Peter Alonso drew a two-out walk and freshman Deacon Liput legged out an infield single to fill the bags. Rivera lofted a ball into left center that eluded a dive by senior Dakota Higdon and brought in all of the Gators. Sophomore Mark Kolozsvary extended UF s lead to 4-1 with a solo homer into the left-field bleachers in the second and sophomore JJ Schwarz had given the Gators a 5-2 advantage in the seventh. GATORS & OSPREYS WENT TO THE WIRE IN JACKSONVILLE Tied at two runs apiece entering the eighth inning, No. 1 Florida scored four runs on five hits in the frame to defeat North Florida, 6-2, on March 8 at Harmon Stadium. The Gators downed the Ospreys in Jacksonville for the first time in four meetings. After junior right-hander Dane Dunning registered a careerhigh 10 strikeouts over a season-high six innings, junior Kirby Snead (1-0) retired all nine batters he faced to collect his first victory of the campaign. The southpaw retired UNF on 18 pitches over three perfect innings, 17 of which were strikes. In the decisive eighth, sophomore Dalton Guthrie (3-for-5, two runs) doubled to left center with one down and junior Buddy Reed (2-for-4) followed with a base-hit into left field for runners on the corners. Sophomore JJ Schwarz gave Florida its first lead of the night by sending a 3-2 pitch from junior Matthew Naylor (1-2) into left field to drive in Guthrie. Junior Peter Alonso (2-for-4, two RBI) followed with a double to left field to plate Reed and sophomore Jeremy Vasquez was walked intentionally to load the bases with one down. The move backfired when sophomore Mike Rivera (2-for-4) stroked a two-run single through the right side of the infield to bring Schwarz and Alonso across the dish to build a four-run cushion. GATORS SWEPT THE BIG GREEN Florida downed Darmouth over the weekend of March 4-6 by scores of 7-0, 4-3 (12) and 8-6. The Gators finished the sweep of the Big Green with an 8-6 victory on Sunday by overcoming a 3-0 deficit and used a threerun fifth inning to move in front. Sophomore Alex Faedo (3-0) picked up the decision with a five-inning stint, sophomore Nick Horvath (1-0) collected his first save and the Gator offense was powered by two RBI apiece from sophomore Dalton Guthrie (2-for-4, one run), junior Buddy Reed (1-for-5, one run) and sophomore JJ Schwarz (1-for-3, two runs). The Gators tallied three runs on two hits and an error to seize a 4-3 lead in the fifth inning. Freshman Jonathan India (2-for-3, two runs) was hit by a pitch with one down and Guthrie laced a single into left field before Reed smashed a game-tying, two-run triple into the right-field corner. Schwarz put the Orange and Blue ahead with an RBI grounder.
