5 THEN T he most impressive aspects of the ballpark actually reside outside of it, where natural and manmade objects leave a lasting impression. Although Goodyear s ballpark has four entrance gates, all fans should use the main one behind home plate, if for no other reason than to enjoy the scenery that exists there, where the feature presentation is a three ton piece of public art commissioned from Philadelphia-based artist Donald Lipski. His $450,000 sculpture of a white wing adorned with red baseball stitching stands 60 6 tall, the exact distance from the pitcher s mound to home plate. It looks like a baseball spire and is set amidst palm trees in the middle of a natural stone fountain. Goodyear is about 20 miles southwest of Phoenix. The ballpark is just two miles south of I-10. Estrella Parkway passes directly by it. The ballpark is across the street from a recently built neighborhood of homes. It s much bigger and more noticeable neighbor to the east is the Phoenix-Goodyear Municipal Airport. NOW

6 So has Andra Fair s dream died? Well, not exactly, it is being reborn with a new vision where the community s architectural style may not be as uniform, as it once was, but the lifestyle vision for a 21st century is as vibrant and cutting-edge as ever. A little over a decade ago Andra Fair made a visionary bet and teamed up with Blake Ricetta to do something different and makeover the way of living with a village open concept in Arizona and give it a NYC and CA vibe. And together with Sonnen Batterie, it is now developing the first of a new multiphase residential and commercial development within the village precinct to make the living experience at The Gates a complete lifestyle package: a place to live, shop, dine, play and LIVE LARGE.

7 T he most glamorous and glitzy neighbor hoods in Phoenix valley are places like Paradise Valley and Cave Creek, Scottsdale and Litchfield Park and soon Goodyear. Consider the following. Phoenix valley most famous hood is actually divided into two parts: Scottsdale, where expensive but not over the top homes are located along with the luxury shops, and then there s Paradise Valley south of Scottsdale where The Big Stars with Big Money live. The Gates at Goodyear Ballpark, west of Paradise Valley are the mirror image of both. An open-air shopping mixed use, luxury home and entertainment district a few minutes off the I10, which is between the 303 and 101. It may seem counter-intuitive but Goodyear is more superior than Scottsdale. So here s a little checklist to prove the point:

Which puts you mins away heading in any direction as you avoid heavy traffic counts twists and turns leaving or arriving. Clearly many Canadians, and Californians are moving to AZ for permanent residence or vacation homes. Only 7 min drive to Goodyear Airport and your flight to LAX, LAS is a 1hr flight, to Canada 3hr (Vancouver), 4hr (Toronto) about the same as a bad day on rush hour, so it s eminently doable. Among the biggest entertainment-vacation home makes this so convenient is NASCAR - PIR, MLB - RED s & Indians spring training ball games, AAA and AA games with all year round training facility. Goodyear has rich history as it was named after Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 1917 and in November 19, 1946 Goodyear became a town. As the seventh fastest growing city in the US. Goodyear has become diverse with multi culturally tastes and flares that is binging in Arts, Entertainment, Shopping, Restaurants, and much more for those sophisticated individuals who likes easy access into and out of the valley without the traffic jams and congestion of light travel.
