1 Seeking highest traffic-volume intersections for your OOH campaigns? Step One: broaden your horizon. Check out the maps of Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Ottawa below to see that drivers are not concentrated in each city core, but in fact distributed more broadly throughout the larger community and neighbourhoods. The maps were created using COMMB s database one of the largest standardized national databases of vehicular traffic volume in Canada. As an OOH seller, you will know that the average annual daily traffic volume (AADT) on each roadway is a critical metric for calculating circulation of outdoor advertising ~ essentially the number of people driving toward or past each OOH face with a reliable opportunity to see it. Outside of major highways and expressways, OOH advertising exposure is not always about downtown, it s about AROUND TOWN. Page 1 of 5

Most of the top intersections are on Sheppard Avenue, accounting for 7. Steeles and Finch Avenue have 5 each. o These three roads span the entire length of the city west to east and are considered to be the major links for surrounding neighborhoods, commercial and transit hubs. Majority of the top intersection volumes are distributed across the city s east end ranging from 50-75k.
