3 T.A. HISTORY Last July, 2nd, SPECIALITES T.A. opened its doors to celebrate its 70th anniversary. SPECIALITES T.A. is expert in chainrings and accessories for high-end bicycles. The brand offers the largest range of compatible chainrings in the world, that is to say, about 820 item codes, and 60% of its production is shipped abroad. The company was created in 1947 by Mr Georges NAVET, a passionate cyclist. His first invention was bicycles with front traction («Traction Avant» in French), which explains «T.A.». In fact, this is the aluminium alloy chainring which made T.A. renowned and attracted famous cyclists such as Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Raymond Poulidor, Fausto Coppi, or even Lance Armstrong. About «water bottles» SPECIALITES T.A. will get a patent for the famous teat, nowadays used by the cycling market. At that time, the company is the Tour de France official supplier for water bottles. In February 2012, Mr Gérard BLOT takes over the company and brings a new dynamic to the brand. HAPPY BIRTHDAY T.A.! We are a French manufacturer and more than 90% of our suppliers are French! We also have highly efficient machines thanks to important and regular investments in modern tools which enable to be reactive for our customers. Today, we can offer, in addition to our traditional products, all the modern transmission equipment for the cyclist: single chainrings, track chainrings, specific teeth for 11 speed chains and cassettes, integrated axle cranksets, flexible teats, non-circular chainrings. YES, SPECIALITES T.A. is 70 years old but all its activity turns around a 21st century communication: online store (BtoB), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube (with tutorials) or even newsletters. Tomorrow, we will increase our innovative power by doubling the workforce of the R&D Department, launching a new, more legible logo, continuing our partnerships with cyclist teams, increasing Public Relations. We prepared a catalogue full of new products with an event : the launch of the first T.A. integrated axle cranksets in road version (HORIZON) and MTB version (ARROW).
