The alarm was caused by an equipment malfunction in an elevator room, the extent of which was not known, and no injuries were reported. Public Safety and Saint Paul Police Department responded to a vehicle accident at Cretin and Selby Avenues. A UST student collided with a non-affiliated person, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles, but no injuries. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a noise violation in Grace Residence Hall. Five underage UST students were found to have consumed alcohol. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a power outage in Flynn Residence Hall. A blown outlet in a student s residence caused a circuit breaker to tripe, shutting off power in part of the residence. A UST employee reported a light fixture in a lower level stairwell landing was damaged. Public Safety documented a theft in Ireland Residence Hall. A student and an unidentified guest were behaving suspiciously in campus parking lot, and the guest was later escorted out of MOR by hall staff. A UST staff member experiencing chest pains was assisted by medics and was taken by a co-worker to an area hospital. Public Safety documented a burglary on the 800 block of Hennepin Avenue. The Police Department reported a business on the block had been burglarized. Public Safety responded to a medical in Anderson Student Center. A UST guest who struck his head on a door as he entered ASC was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention. This report was assigned in error. Public Safety reported suspicious activity on the 2000 block of Selby Avenue. Three UST students behaving suspiciously in the alleyway were later identified by officers.
