2 LIONETTES SHINE AT AUGUST UDA CAMP The camp was held at the University of Delaware and the Lionettes were awarded two superior trophies for A Routine evaluations and Game Day evaluations. The team also was awarded the Leadership Award which is an award other teams at camp vote on at the end of the week long event. Captains for are Hayley Simpson (senior), Gabriella Redaelli (senior) and Maggie Crombie (junior).

3 PENN STATE CHEERLEADING TEAM TO BE FEATURED ON VARSITY TV High school and college cheerleaders across the nation are rallying their communities to show their school spirit and help them secure a spot in the Cheerleader's Choice School Spirit Spotlight Winners Circle and a chance to be featured on Varsity TV. Penn State has been chosen the first school to be selected as a Cheerleader s Choice Champion, and a crew from Varsity TV will be coming to Beaver Stadium on October 21 to film our cheerleading squad at the game vs. Michigan. Congratulations to the squad and the hard-working coaches on this great achievement! CONGRATULATIONS to the Penn State Cheerleading Team on finishing 1st overall at its August camp! In addition to receiving the Traditions Award, the squad finished 1st Overall in the Game-day Performance and 3rd for their sideline performance.
