2 This year the Boy s Regional Wrestling Tournament will be hosted by on February 10, On behalf of the students and staff at, we welcome you and look forward to the opportunity to serve you and your program. We are working hard to put on a quality event for you and your athletes and look forward to the opportunity to host the tournament. Tournament Site: Date: Saturday, February 10, 2018 HAIR, NAIL & SKIN CHECKS WEIGH-IN COACHES MEETING ROUND 1 Championship ROUND 2 (Semi-finals & Consolation round1) ROUND 3 (Consolation Semis) ROUND 4 (Placement Matches 5 th /6 th ) (Placement Matches 3 rd /4 th ) CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS (Individual awards after the next weight classes) (State qualifying pictures taken immediately after awards) TEAM AWARDS Main Gym Only *Note: Times indicated are approximate 7:45 am 8:00 am 9:00 am 10:00 am 11:30 pm 1:00 pm 2:00 pm 3:00 pm 4:00 pm WIAA REGIONAL WRESTLING EVENT TICKET PRICES Admission: ADULTS: $9.00 STUDENTS: $7.00 (Grade 7-12 with ASB Card) GRADES K-6: $ AND UNDER: FREE SR. CITIZENS (age 62 with STUDENT PRICE **SCAC/CASCADE/NWC CONFERNCE PASSES WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED** Locker Room Assignments:

3 Teams will be assigned Locker Rooms when they arrive. Towels WILL NOT be furnished. Limited access will be provided to the locker rooms. Personal items should not be left unattended in the locker rooms. Teams must provide their own towels. Games Committee: Officials: Supervision: Pass List: Coaches: Warm-up area: Filming/Photos: Trainers: The tournament Games Committee will consist of at least 3 members which will include: The tournament manager or designee, an athletic director not involved, the Head Official or one not involved in the situation, and a coach from each league not involved in the situation. Games Committee members must be present and immediately available to the tournament manager. Decisions of the Games Committee are final and may not be appealed. Assigned by WIAA The Principal or designated supervisor shall be responsible for the conduct of his/her students and the adult community. PLEASE ASSIST IN SUPERVISING YOUR CROWD. ALL COACHES, PARTICIPANTS, CHEERLEADERS, AND TEAM PERSONNEL WILL BE STAMPED UPON ENTRY: Coaches Participants 10 Supervisors Cheerleaders in uniform. No more than four (4) per mat Bus Driver The Pass List must be ed to site managers no later than Wednesday, February 7 th. (scott.sifferman@sultan.k12.wa.us) Pass lists should be updated in MyWIAA for wrestling. Schools not ing pass lists will have those pass lists printed and used when teams arrive. During matches only two (2) coaches per school on the mat Wrestlers may use the wrestling mats for warm-up unless it is being cleared for cleanup. Filming and photos can be taken from bleachers only. No filming on the floor/aisle set-ups. Photographers will also need to take photos from bleachers. NO FILMING OR PHOTOGRAPHY from the mat area. Sultan HS Sports Medicine Instructor: Brandi Varnell Sultan HS Student Technicians Bring proper documentation for athletes who have been cleared by a physician. We will not have a physician present during skin checks and weigh in. Blood Clean-up: Will be taken care of by SHS Sports Med students.

4 Ejection policy: Hospitality Room: As per WIAA Guidelines; a participant that is ejected is finished for the tournament and the remainder of the season. Will be located in the Home Ec room upstairs. The hospitality room is for Coaches/Officials/AD s and Tournament Staff ONLY. Please remember to clean up after yourselves. Thanks. Advancement: Top 4 placers advance to WIAA Mat Classic on February 16. State program pictures to be taken immediately after athletes receive individual awards. Bus Parking: Buses will need to park at the far end of the lower parking lot. Vans will be able to park in the area behind our gym west of our softball field. WIAA REGION 2

5 Regional Wrestling Pass List SCHOOL: SUPERVISION LIST to be honored for the following date: DATE: Saturday, February 10 th, 2018 SITE: EVENT SUPERVISION BUS DRIVER ATHLETIC DIRECTOR Head supervisor will report to the tournament manager before game time. It is suggested that game supervisors have some sort of identification (badge, ribbon, etc.) LIST AUTHORIZED BY POSITION
