No.18 Arizona kicks off the 2016 season on Friday, Jan. 8th at 6 p.m., in McKale Arena against Big 10 competitor, Michigan State. The GymCat s home opener marks the start of firstyear head coach, Tabitha Yim s competitive slate with Arizona Gymnastics. She and assistant coaches John Court and David McCreary are excited and ready to get the season underway. We cannot wait to get the 2016 season started this Friday in McKale, Yim said. The team has really pushed themselves this preseason and the level of passion and commitment has been inspiring. We have a great staff and team assembled, and we know our fans will love the artistry, enthusiasm, and team chemistry we bring to the floor. The Wildcats return ten letterwinners to the roster, including defending Pac12 Floor Champion, Jessie Sisler. Arizona also welcomes five freshmen, Haylie Hendrickson, Danielle Spencer, Skyler Sheppard, Brittany Robertson
