3 The Pug-In Connector - A11 For Drinking Water and Water or Gas. The BEULCONNECT pug-in connector is constructed in such a way that it camps the pipe by a gente pug-in technoogy. It is eakproof for a ifetime and enabes a troube-free and stress-free instaation. The pug-in connector guarantees specia safety: The pipe ony has to be pugged-in a contro can be omitted (e.g. whether a pressing nut has been correcty tightened). Ecobrass is a ead-free aoy, quaified for the use in drinking water areas according to European Drinking Water Directive 98/837EC. The materia meets the hygienic and ega requirements for drinking water. The reiabe brass is characterized by dezincification resistance and high durabiity. Seaing For the appication in the fied of drinking water the connector has the tested EPDM profie gasket which reiaby seas minor damages on the surface. The pug-in connectors for the appication in the fieds of water and gas additionay have a specia o-ring. The seaing and camping functions are separated and independent which makes the connector extraordinariy safe. Construction The materia-friendy connecting technique enabes that the pipe is ony stressed as the reations of pression and torsion demand. Premature wear due to overstressing of materia and subsequent troubes can be excuded. The meta camping caw enabes a torsion-free assemby by its positioning. The connector can easiiy be dismounted a components can be reused without probems. For the appication in the fied of gas the connector has an additiona insert pipe to stabiise the pipe. 4 Instaation Instruction BEULCONNECT - A11 Pug-in connector Step 1 Cut the pipe at a right ange at the previousy affixed marking. Step 2 Chamfer the pipe up to the inner diameter (e.g. with chamfering too mode 8880, item ). Step 3 Mark the insertion depth on the pipe. (For the use in gas sector the insert pipe has to be pressed in up to the imit stop) Step 4 Insert the pipe up to the marking. i The insertion depth of the pipe is made visibe by a marking on the fitting body. Note: For ova pipes we recommend the use of insert pipes in order to guarantee the optima hoding and seaing functions. Corrosion protection according to DIN is necessary on site in the fied of buried pipeining. 4

5 Instaation Instruction BEULCONNECT Repair Program Repair Couping Step 1 Cut the pipe at a right ange at the previousy affixed marking. Step 2 Chamfer the pipe up to the inner diameter (e.g. with chamfering too mode 8880, item ). Step 3 Mark the insertion depth on both pipes. Step 4 Insert the pipe on the first side up to the marking. Step 5 Insert the pipe on the second side up to the marking Repair Connector Step 1 Cut the pipe at a right ange at the previousy affixed marking. Step 2 Chamfer the pipe up to the inner diameter (e.g. with chamfering too mode 8880, item ). Step 3 Mark the insertion depth on the pipe. Step 4 Bot the repair connector with the fitting (Mind a suitabe seaing!). Step 5 Push the repair connector onto the pipe up to the marking.! Note: Step 4 and 5 can be interchanged depending on the situation. We recommend to extend the repair coupings to the maximum ength during assemby and to shorten the pipe accordingy. If this is not possibe, benchmarks must be paced in front of and behind the connector. 5

6 Pug-In Connector - Repair Program BEULCONNECT - A11 For the safe bridging of pipe damages the BEULCONNECT repair coupings and connectors offer the optima soution. The repair assortment is designed in a way that due to the materia-friendy smart grip technoogy the pipe is ony stressed as the pressure situation requires. Repair Couping The BEULCO repair coupings are equipped with two equa pastic pipe connections and ensure the idea bridging of pipe damages. The pug-in technoogy guarantees a fast and safe instaation. Mode 1106 cosed open bridgeabe engths: from 150 mm to 280 mm (depending on diameter) Repair Connector The BEULCO repair connectors have a mae thread. The pug-in technoogy ensures a fast and safe instaation. Mode 1102 bridgeabe engths: from 150 mm to 280 mm (depending on diameter) Reduction Set With the reduction set, pug-in connectors with dimensions 32, 40, 50 and 63mm can be reduced by one dimension. When changing tapping seeves it is sometimes necessary to cut a piece of the connection conduit so that the distance of pipe to new tapping seeves wi grow. For the conventiona connection the pipe is now too short. In this case the BEULCO repair connector enabes an individuaength adjusting, as the distances from 210 mm up to 240 mm can safey be bridged.
