1 Creating a New Player and Registering them with the League When a new player joins the club, you will need to register them with the League in order for them to play in the Northern Premier Cricket league. If they are a Senior player (Over 18) they will need to complete a Registration Form. This form can be found in the Downloads section of the northerncricketleague.org Website. Creating a Player on your Play-cricket site. There are two ways that a player can be created on your Play-cricket site. a) Player Self Sign-up They can either sign up themselves by visiting the site, clicking the Register button that is on the right hand side, This would allow the users to enter their own details and apply for membership of the site. When members have done this you can approve them from the Admin area and they will appear in the clubs member list. b) Club Player Sign Up I Visit your clubs Play-cricket Site. II Log in with an Administration account III Click on the Admin Button to enter the Admin Section. IV Once in the Admin Section you will need to click the Club Members linkin the menu on the left hand side

2 V Then Select the Member Database. This will give you a list of all your club members. VI To Create a new member you must click on the following link VII This will give you a box to enter the players information To register a member for the League you must complete Step 2 Registering a player to play in the Northern Premier Cricket League. a) Once you have created the player as a member of your club on your play-cricket site, you will need to put them forward for league registration. b) In the administration section of your play-cricket site, again click Club Members, then Members Database. c) Find the member on your list (or by using the search at the top ) d) We now need to edit his roles to register him for the league.

You must click on the Hat symbol (The middle one of the three icons) e)click onto the League Registered Players Tab Club roles for A N Other This is where you can assign roles A.

The following roles are available f) Complete the missing information Required Information First Name Last Name Date of Birth Address Postcode Player Category (This will be Category One, as the others relate to professionals)

4 Once you have done this please click the save player details box. This will remove the red asterisk if you have completed all the relevant sections g) To register the player click the add next to the Northern Premier Cricket League Registered Player h) You will now get the last screen where you can submit the player for registration If you wish to leave any comments e.g. Player Regisration form ed on XXXXX

i) If this is a standard registration then click Nominate Player. This will submit the registration. j) If this is a Transfer, select the player transfer box, then click nominate player.

You can select the club they are transferring from on the next page. Once these steps are followed the league will be sent the registration and on which approval they will be eligible to play in the Northern Premier Cricket League. You can see your pending players in the administration section by clicking Club Members Pending Player Nominations You can see your active players by clicking Club Members -> Members Database, Changing the Sub-role to League Registered Players and clicking search Currently showing users with Active Northern Premier League Registered Player Roles

on Northern Premier Cricket League in the dropdown list.

6 REGISTERING PLAYERS (Important notes at the end) 1 Log in to your Play-cricket site 2 In the Member Box. There will be a dropdown list saying ROLE, Select League Registered Players, then in the SUB ROLE click on Northern Premier Cricket League in the dropdown list. 3 If you have already submitted players then they will appear here. 4 To Add new Players for League Registration, Click Apply... to other users link

7 5 This will give you a list of all your members where you will need to either tick the box and apply or you may need to complete the info.. For all players you need to select a Category 1 for Amateur, 2 for County and 3 for Overseas also select their Country of origin 6 Once all details are filled in, then click the Add button This will send an alert to the League who will approve the registration. When approved by the League Registration Secretary the players name will be added to your Registered Players Squad.
