3 3rd Bill Westgate carp 19/20 June Night Match 1 (Social Cup) L.Rowfant Night match at L.Rowfant - a good turn out, good weather and good fishing UNTIL the sky cleared at midnight and temperatures plummeted to 6 and then everyone scurried back to their cars for thermals and boots, it was cold! We "enjoyed" non-stop music from Rowfant House midsummer festivities until about 4 o'clock am. Even that that did not stop some people catching throughout : 1st Mark Smith carp on the method feeder and some on floaters 2nd Steve Green carp on the method feeder and pole 3rd Pete Collins carp 4th Del Walker carp 20 June Sweepstake Bank Cup (10 max) Mill Sunday match at the Mill (transferred from Ifield due to low water conditions) 1st Paul brinkhurst bream 1 tench + bits 2nd peter collison skimmers + bits 3rd don vallance bream + bits Wed 23 June Senior Citizens 3 Wilderness 8:00am 9:00 3:00pm A wet and windy ordeal for the hardy souls who attended - dave 1st Dave Whitehouse Nine carp 2nd Bill Westgate rd Don Vallance th Cliff Zano Sunday 27 June Match CDAS v Horsham at Mill The change to the weather over the weekend tended to put the fish down except in some areas and some good weights were recorded although most had a hard days fishing. Match result: CDAS: beat Horsham: Individuals result: 1st Paul Whitfield (CDAS) bream + 1 tench 2nd David Elias (CDAS) rd Richard Eggleton (Horsham) th Del Walker (CDAS) Wednesday 30th June - an overcast showery day at the Mill which was a little lacklustre 1st Ray Denman two tench + 1 bream + bits 2nd Dave Whitehouse one bream + bits 3rd Don Vallance th July Midweek match at the Mill A really wild day on the Wilderness ( 50 mph winds torrential rain etc ) but that did not deter 10 hardy souls from lasting out to 3.00 pm 1st Roy Charman just three carp including one of 12 lb 2nd Cliff Zano four carp + some bits 3rd Dave Whitehouse four carp 4th Don Vallance a great bag of roach / skimmers / Rudd but no carp!

4 Weds (14th July) Seniors match on the Road and Top lakes of L.Rowfant A somewhat humid day with the fish decidedly not interested 1st Don Norman One carp (7lb) + bits 2nd Don Vallance All bits 3rd Mick Brackpool One carp + bits Sunday 18th July NatWest at L.Rowfant Heavy showers as we went to our pegs and starting tackling up followed by sunshine (at last). A somewhat curious venue with depths going up to ~15 foot with many double figure carp with roach and bream. CDAS won the team match and the individual.
