This pass has been competitively priced, acknowledging that some pupils may make alternative travel arrangements once or twice a week when attending after-school activities finishing after 4:00pm. Morning / Evening Pass Permits travel on either 5 mornings or 5 evenings per week. This pass is priced at 60% of the price of a. Study Leave Pass Discount on a during the Summer term. The price of this Pass reflects periods of Study Leave for exam candidates during which pupils do not travel to and from school. The annual price is the fare for the Autumn and Spring terms, plus the Study Leave Pass fare. Single Journey Pass Permits a single, one-way journey on any day. These tickets are priced at 4.50 each and are subject to daily availability. Please note: Single Journey Passes may only be issued to Prep School (Year 3 and above) pupils if they are travelling with a Senior School sibling. Sibling Discount 2nd child (20%) 3rd and subsequent children (50%) Prices shown overleaf are per term There may be a possibility of timing changes to reflect traffic flow or weather conditions. 8 PUPIL CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL All Yarm School coach pass holders must comply with the following conditions at all times of travel. Any breach of these conditions may result in the withdrawal of a pupil s pass without refund. The above conditions are for the safety and comfort of all passengers. Pupils must be at the stop five minutes before the timetabled time and ready to board Passes are not transferable between pupils or for different routes. Pupils are to wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion. This is a legal requirement. Inappropriate behaviour or any damage will be reported and investigated. In addition to school sanctions it may also result in passes being withdrawn without refund. The cost of repairs may be charged to your school account. Pupils are to remain in their seats whilst the vehicle is in motion. CCTV and tracking devices are fitted to most of our coaches and may be used as evidence when investigating behaviour. The driver is not to be distracted whilst the vehicle is in motion. Chewing gum is not permitted on any of our coaches. Pupils must not dismount the vehicle at any other bus stop than their booked stop without prior written consent to School from parents. Eating and/or drinking is only permitted if pupils remove their litter when leaving the coach and dispose of it properly. Please be respectful of others and property whilst eating and/or drinking on the coach. Bus passes must be presented to the driver on entering the vehicle for every journey. Please do not wait to be asked for your pass. Pupils must not board the coach in muddy sports kit, they must change into clean clothing and shoes before travelling. Passes are only valid for the date shown and for the agreed route and stop. Bags and/or any other items must not obstruct the aisles at any time. Pupils are responsible for all personal belongings. Items of lost property will need to be collected from the offices of our coach providers. The coach companies are not under obligation to return items of lost property to school. PARENTS ARE ASKED TO SIGN AND RETURN THE ACCEPTANCE FORM TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE USE OF A PASS IS TAKEN AS ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS Notice of cancellation one half term s advance notice in writing (or ) is required and the pass returned following the last day of travel. Failure to do so will result in charges remaining payable.
