4 Price Bands / How to Book A place on a school bus needs to be booked in advance. This can be done by contacting the Transport Manager at Coventry School Foundation on or by ing tm@csfoundation.org.uk. A Full Pass guarantees a place on all journeys to and from school. A Half Pass guarantees a place on either a journey to or from school. The required journey must be stipulated at the time of booking. Single Journey Tickets can be purchased on services where there are seats available after bus passes have been issued. These tickets can be purchased from the Finance Office at Bablake Senior School or obtained from Reception at King Henry VIII Senior School. 5 Getting to School by Bus A number of school buses cover a wide catchment area to transport pupils to King Henry VIII Senior School, King Henry VIII Preparatory School (Hales), Bablake Senior School and Bablake Junior School. Parents are encouraged to register an interest for an area not currently served. All requests for additional stops along the existing routes will be considered. Coventry School Foundation reserves the right to change times and pick-up points to cater for changing needs. Parents will be notified of any changes in advance. 1. For further information on this service, please contact the Transport Manager Telephone: tm@csfoundation.org.uk Guidelines on using a School Bus Pupils must arrive at their stop 5 minutes before the advertised time. Pupils must wait at the bus stop and not in cars. If the drivers do not see anyone at the stop then they will not stop. Bus passes must be shown to the driver on all journeys. If your son/daughter has a mobile phone, it is a good idea to take a photograph of their bus pass just in case they forget it or lose it. Coach and minibus drivers aim to reach each stop at the advertised pick-up time. However, unforeseen circumstances with traffic delays can result in coaches and minibuses, being delayed at certain stops. On these occasions, pupils must follow the instructions below. If your bus is late in the morning: 1. Wait 10 minutes; then the most senior pupil at the stop should ring the bus / coach company. A replacement vehicle will get to you as soon as possible. 10

11 Getting to School by Train Coventry Train Station is situated in an ideal location for Coventry School Foundation schools. King Henry VIII Senior School and King Henry VIII Preparatory School (Hales) are conveniently located just two minutes walk from Coventry Train Station. A free minibus shuttle service is provided for travel from the station to Bablake Senior School and Bablake Junior School throughout the morning and after school until 5.45pm.
