My heart goes out to all those who have lost their homes and their treasured possessions it makes me very thankful that we have come through unscathed. I wish everyone affected strength as they rebuild and move forward. I recently attended a store owner s convention where I had the opportunity to meet with some very talented pattern designers. I am amazed at the talent we have in Australia how lucky we are. Keep your eyes peeled for some new patterns coming into the store soon from a range of Australian designers bags, kid s clothing, adult clothing and the odd quilt. They are quite yummy! I am so excited to have my tuffet classes up and running! Tuffets are just so gorgeous, make a great gift and are a ton of fun to make. The first two classes have sold out, so you need to get in quick to score a place. I plan to run classes monthly for a while, to keep up with demand, so keep looking for a date that suits you. The great thing is that the classes will run on a weekend, making it available to everyone. We will be making our mark in a big way soon with our advertising, so keep your eyes peeled for new signage. The first person to bring a photo of my new sign into the shop will win a $20 gift voucher. So keep watching! Have a wonderful month you can tell Easter is on its way, can t you? Learn some new skills, and end up with a fantastic piece of oneof-a-kind furniture! March class SOLD OUT & OVERBOOKED! April class 2 spots left, 18 th and 19 th April. See calendar for times. May class a few spots still available, 17 th & 24 th May. $85 for the 2 day class + pattern, kit and fabrics.

Full payment required at time of booking. 101 Basics of Terri will guide you through some of the basic dressmaking techniques you need to make your own garments. This techniques course is run over 6 weeks. Learn how to read patterns, cut out fabrics, do professional seam finishes, set in sleeves, make collars, make buttons and buttonholes, gathering & ruffling, make waistbands & casings, do shirring, make darts and so much more. 2 courses running in March and April: Day course - Tuesday 3 rd, 10 th, 31 st March, 7 th, 14 th, 21 st April, 9.30am Evening course Monday 9 th, 16 th, 23 rd, 30 th, March, 13 th, 20 th April, 6pm, Cost of course is $150, with $50 deposit required to secure your place in the class.

Friday 17 th April, Learn the basics of piecing, and rotary cutting with Terri while making this beautiful but easy quilt block, the Tumbler block. Make your quilt as large or as small as you want, simply by adding blocks. The fall of the Australian dollar is starting to be felt by everyone. Up until now, my suppliers have been able to absorb the impact of rising costs, but unfortunately, this is no longer the case. Sadly, this means that prices are set to rise we will try to minimise price rises where we can. Please note it is important that you attend your scheduled class.
