This letter is to confirm the arrangements. In previous years, Gordano students have behaved in an exemplary manner which makes the trips a pleasure for both the accompanying teachers and students. We would ask you to remind your son/daughter that a continued high standard of behaviour is expected at all times. Bring helmets that fit properly OR use Pedalabikeaway helmets that will be well fitted by experienced staff. A wind proof and waterproof top. Avoid baggy or loose clothing, particularly trousers. Firm soled shoes. Avoid cotton (jeans) and wool as they do not dry out quickly. Acrylic materials are preferred as they absorb less moisture and dry quickly. The body to be covered at all times. (In case of a tumble). Cycling shorts (with a padded seat insert) can be very helpful on day rides. Packed lunch & plenty to drink. Wear light casual clothes and sensible shoes.
