2 1. CONFERENCE COMPETITIONS To gain consistency across the game in, districts and / or clubs are to be allocated a conference with the aim to provide equivalent and sustainable competition. Phased in over three years, the below plan outlines the formation of conferences encompassing Junior League Districts. FORMAT AND AGE GROUPS Criteria for the 2017 Conference Competitions: Minimum 6 team competitions (preferably 8 team comps) Multiple divisions (localised where feasible) Teams will have the opportunity to nominate into an age group via their district Divisions will be determined by considering previous season results and divisions (conditions may apply with an opportunity to apply for moving a division) No official re-grade Competitions will be monitored up until round with the possibility of teams being re-graded up or down pending results. 7 Condition to enter all age groups from one district (e.g. districts cannot enter U14, U16 and U18 must be all age groups listed above) Once divisions are established, consideration will be made into localising to a district where feasible as long as it does not affect the Conference Competition Preference for to be played across District with lower divisions localised. CALENDAR (PRE AND REGULAR SEASONS) 2017 Pre-season Preseason competitions and tournaments will be offered over four weeks Optional for teams to enter across all districts W8s - M8s - FN9s - Gala Days Tournaments League Tag Mid-week offering Districts will have the opportunity to host these pre-season competitions with assistance from. Regular Season Draws will be administered by the Weekend days of play Matches will be allocated to districts accordingly Districts required to assign venues and times Forward draws will be provided where possible Districts will have a deadline for venue and time allocation in order to maintain a forward draw.
