2 Welcome to our summer program. We are looking forward to spending an enjoyable summer with your children, filled with exciting entertainment and activities. Our days will consist of structured activities supporting the topics of the week. The activities will consist of Messy Monday, Tasteful Tuesday, Water Wednesday, Crafty Thursday and Fun Fridays. Watch the calendar for special events such as bring a snack for Monday s, wearing certain colors on Wednesdays, along with bringing water play items from time to time, and bring your lunch days! All special days are marked in red. On Water Wednesday the children do not need to bring or wear swimsuits. They may get a little wet but should dry in the warm sun! is Every Friday! Reminders: Even with our new outdoor play area sunscreen is still needed! It is the parents responsibility to apply a thick coat over the entire body prior to coming to school. Please refer to parent manual for policy. You should also wear appropriate clothing by covering skin using clothing, hats, sun visors, or sun glasses. We will be going outside as much as possible depending on the heat index. Only tennis shoes that cover the complete foot are allowed. NO FLIP FLOPS, SANDALS, JELLY SHOES or CROCS Make sure an extra set of weather appropriate clothes is in your child s cubby. We would like to express our gratitude to the Jefferson City Community for voting us Number 2 preschool in the Jefferson City News Tribune Readers Choice Awards! What an honor! We owe our success to you as parents and your treasured children. We hope to make this a memorable summer with your child. If you have any questions or concerns please check with your child s teacher. They will be happy to assist you. Once again welcome to the summer program! Summer activity fee of $30 is Due By June 4.
