1 FALL 2018 NYS NEVADA TACKLE FOOTBALL 11U WEIGHTED DIVISION REVIEWS October 20 th, 2018 The #1 Seed DO Jr. Diamondbacks def. the #8 Seed North LV Mustangs 41-6 at DO HS Nigel Edwards had a monster game scoring 4 touchdowns to power the Desert Oasis Jr Diamondbacks to victory. Edwards scored on runs covering 4, 12, 5, and 27 yards. Also scoring for the Diamondbacks were, Isaac Balden on a 2-yard run and Theodore Edquilang on a 49-yard run. The Mustangs scored on a dazzling 62-yard run by Marcel Matlock for their lone score. The Diamondbacks were led by Theodore Edquilang with 76 yards rushing and Nigel Edwards added 54 yards rushing. For the Diamondbacks defense, Rodulfo Gallardo recovered 2 fumbles. Isaac Balden and Terrell Mosley recovered 1 fumble each. The Mustangs were led by Marcel Matlock with 110 yards rushing and Braxton Buhecker recovered a fumble. The #2 Seed Falcons Hit Squad def. the #7 Seed Pahrump Trojans 35-0 at Western HS X-Zavier Christopher each scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Falcons Hit Squad to victory over the Pahrump Trojans. Christopher scored on two nifty 45-yard runs and a 25-yard run. Also scoring for the Falcons were, Joshua Durggan on a brilliant 60-yard kickoff return and a nifty 30-yard run. Also scoring for the Falcons was Alex Madrid on a 15-yard TD pass from Durggan. The Falcons offense rushed for 165 yards with X-Zavier Christopher gaining 115 yards and Joshua Durggan adding 50 yards rushing. The Falcons defense was stellar allowing -4 total offense. Alex Madrid recovered a fumble for the Falcons. The Trojans played hard and did their best against a very superb Falcons team. Garfield Griffith had an interception for the Trojans. The #3 Seed Las Vegas Rams def. the #6 Seed Las Vegas Union 25-6 at Chaparral HS The Las Vegas Rams looked strong in advancing into the semifinals as they were able to take down the Las Vegas Union this weekend at Chaparral High School. The Rams scored first in this matchup on a 65- yard TD run by Kristopher Greene to take a 6-0 first quarter lead. The Union bounced back quickly by scoring in the 2 nd quarter on a long touchdown connection. Isaiah Roman connected with Demari Gordon for a 41-yard TD score. From that point on however, it would be all Rams. Jayden Edwards would break the tie with a 57-yard TD run in the 2 nd quarter. In the 4 th quarter the Rams would put the game on ice. Edwards first connected with Kristopher Greene for a 55-yard TD score. Edwards would then find the end zone one final time on the ground as he raced 5-yards for the games final score. The Rams win advanced them into the semifinals where they will take on the Falcons Hit Squad. The Union meanwhile had a great season and put in a great effort. Alphonso Nedd had an interception for the Union defense. The #4 Seed TMT Elite def. the #5 Seed Southern Highlands Jr. Rebels 33-6 at Sierra Vista HS Giovanni Criss had a super game scoring 3 touchdowns to power TMT Elite to victory. Criss scored on remarkable runs covering 70, 11, and 50 yards. Also scoring for TMT Elite was, Alex Oller on a 2-point

2 safety, Nasaveiair Nettles on a 50-yard run, and Casey Unitas on a 30-yard run. The Rebels scored on a magnificent 80-yard fumble return by Kyrie Romanowski. TMT Elite s offense pounded the rock for 266 yards behind superb blocking by their offensive line. Giovanni Criss rushed for 159 yards and Nasaveiair Nettles added 85 yards rushing. For TMT Elite s defense, Zyin Gray had an interception and Kaysar Lacy recovered a fumble. The Rebels were led by QB Jacob Stiles with 24 yards passing and Kyrie Romanowski recovered a fumble. October 13 th, 2018 The Las Vegas Rams def. the Las Vegas Union 25-0 at Bonanza HS Jayden Edwards scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Rams to victory in shutout fashion over the Las Vegas Union. Edwards scored on nifty 45 & 6-yard runs. Also scoring for the Rams were, Kristopher Greene on a 24-yard scamper and Fernando Ortega on a 3-yard run. The Rams offense rushed for 111 yards with Jayden Edwards gaining 67 yards. He also passed for 44 yards. The Rams defense was tough, allowing 29 total yards. Fabien Carmona recovered a fumble for the Rams. The Union played hard and gave it their all. They were led by Alphonso Nedd with 32 yards rushing. The Falcons Hit Squad def. the Pahrump Trojans 35-0 at Shadow Ridge HS Joshua Durggan had a stellar game scoring 3 touchdowns to power the Falcons Hit Squad to victory. Durggan scored on excellent runs covering 38, 20, and 25 yards. Also scoring for the Falcons were, X- Zavier Christopher on a 20- & 30-yard runs and Ray Carmell on a beautiful 50-yard pic 6 TD return. The Falcons rushed for 219 yards behind wicked blocking by their offensive line. Joshua Durggan rushed for 144 yards and X-Zavier Christopher added 55 yards rushing. The Falcons defense was great allowing 7 total yards. On defense, Anthony Hern recovered 2 fumbles while Jayson Colter and Ray Carmell each recovered 1 fumble. The Trojans played hard and gave a good effort, but the Falcons were overwhelmingly tough. TMT Elite def. the North Las Vegas Mustangs 33-0 at Sierra Vista HS Giovanny Criss had a fabulous game scoring 4 touchdowns to power TMT Elite to victory. Criss scored on runs covering 24, 9, 43, and 20 yards. Niakeem Spann also scored for TMT Elite on a 2-yard run. TMT Elite s offense pounded the rock for 314 yards with remarkable blocking by their offensive line. Giovanny Criss rushed for 169 yards and Niakeem Spann added 39 yards rushing. TMT Elie s defense played great allowing 5 total yards and creating 4 turnovers. Lewis Davis, Niakeem Spann, King Johnson, and Alex Oller recovered fumbles. The Mustangs played hard and did their best. October 6 th, 2018 The Falcons Hit Squad def. the Southern Highlands Jr. Rebels 35-0 at Chaparral HS Joshua Durggan and X-Zavier Christopher each scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Hit Squad Falcons to victory. Durggan scored on nasty runs of 45 & 30 yards, and Christopher scored on pretty runs covering

3 30 & 40 yards. Also scoring for the Falcons were, Majik McMillion on a 35-yard pic 6 TD return, and Jayson Colter on a 30-yard pic 6 TD return. The Falcons offense rushed for 172 yards with Josuha Durggan gaining 90 yards and X-Zavier Christopher adding 70 yards rushing. The Falcons defense was fantastic allowing 18 total yards. Anthony Hern and Majik McMillion each had an interception. Marshawn Leaks recovered a fumble. The Rebels played hard and showed a lot of heart in defeat. The Las Vegas Union def. the Pahrump Trojans 19-2 at Liberty HS Giovanni Evans, Alphonso Nedd, and Calvin Patterson each scored a touchdown to lead the Las Vegas Union to victory. Evans scored on a nifty 17-yard run, Nedd scored on a 13-yard run, and Patterson scored on a 6-yard run. The Trojans scored 2 point on a safety by Cory O Neal. The Union offense was only able to muster 62 yards against a very feisty Trojans defense but the offense they did get really went a long way. Giovanni Evans led the Union with 36 yards rushing. The Union defense was equally awesome, allowing just 47 total yards. Demaurice Hill and Albert Benson each recovered a fumble and Isaiah Roman had an interception for the Union. The Trojans were led by Banner Dawson and Austin Alvarez with fumble recoveries and Cory O Neal scored a safety. The DO Diamondbacks def. the North Las Vegas Mustangs 35-0 at DO HS Theodore Edquilang scored 1 touchdown and passed for 3 touchdowns to power the Desert Oasis Jr Diamondbacks to victory. Edquilang scored on a nifty 44-yard run. He used his strong arm and passed 24 & 43-yards to Grady Kelly and 27-yards to Rodulfo Gallardo for touchdowns. Also scoring for the Diamondbacks were, Nigel Edwards on a 15-yard rumble and Jersharius Lawrence on a 10-yard run. The Diamondbacks were led by Theodore Edquilang with 45 yards rushing and 135 yards passing. Jersharius Lawrence added 35 yards rushing and Grady Kelly had 67 yards receiving. The Diamondbacks defense was awesome allowing -4 total yards. For the Diamondbacks defense, Lawrence recovered 2 fumbles and Rodulfo Gallardo and Kenneth Niumataevalu had 1 each. The Mustangs played very hard and gave a good effort, but the immense talent of the Diamondbacks was too much to overcome. September 29 th & October 1 st, 2018 The Falcons Hit Squad def. the North Las Vegas Mustangs 35-0 at Del Sol HS Joshua Durggan and X-Zavier Christopher each scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Falcons Hit Squad to victory. Durggan scored on 42 & 14-yard runs while X-Zavier scored on 49 & 10-yard runs. Saione Inoke also scored for the Falcons on a fumble recovery. The Falcons were led by Josuha Durggan with 74 yards rushing. On defense Isaiah Teo recovered 2 fumbles and Saione Inoke had one. The Mustangs played hard but were outmatched in this game. They look to rebound in their next game. The Southern Highlands Jr. Rebels def. the Pahrump Trojans 26-0 at Pahrump HS Hassani Johnson had a brilliant game scoring 3 touchdowns to power the Southern Highland Jr Rebels to victory. Johnson scored on a super 44-yard fumble return as well as 40 & 30-yard TD passes from QB Jacob Stiles. Dasani Ross also scored for the Rebels on a 15-yard TD pass from Stiles. The Rebels offense was led by QB Jacob Stiles with 193 yards passing while completing 10 of 14 passes. Hassani Johnson caught 5 passes for 83 yards. Johnson was also tremendous on defense with 2 fumble recoveries

4 and 2 sacks. Dasani Ross had an interception and Adonis Stratton recovered a fumble for the Rebels. The Trojans were led by Austin Alvarez and Ethan Hutchinson with a combined 43 yards rushing. TMT Elite def. the Las Vegas Union 9-6 at Bonanza HS Giovanni Criss scored the game winning touchdown to lead TMT Elite to a giant victory in a thriller over the Las Vegas Union this weekend. After a scoreless 1 st quarter, the Union scored on a 5-yard run by Cameron Turner for a 6-0 lead in the 2 nd quarter. The 3 rd quarter was also scoreless, and the Union held their lead at 6-0. In the 4 th quarter TMT Elite got on the board with a safety when the Union center snapped the ball over the QBS head and out of the endzone resulting in a safety. TMT Elite then scored late in the 4 th quarter on a 10-yard run by Giovanni Criss and a 9-6 final score. TMT Elite s offense rushed for 108 yards with Giovanny Criss gaining 61 hard earned yards. TMT Elite s defense played great allowing 53 total yards. The Union was led by Albert Tatum and Alphonso Nedd with a combined 42 yards rushing. The Union defense also played very well allowing just 108 total yards. TMT Elite def. the Southern Highlands Jr. Rebels at Ed Fountain Park on Monday Night Giovanni Criss scored 3 touchdowns to power TMT Elite to victory in Monday night action. Criss scored on 12 & 13-yard runs, as well as a spectacular 94-yard jaunt. Also scoring for TMT Elite were, Zyin Gray on a fabulous 60 yard pic 6 TD return, and Derek Hurley on a 1-yard run. The Rebels scored on divine 62-yard TD pass to Hassani Johnson from QB Jacob Stiles. Johnson also scored on an 11-yard run. TMT Elite s offense rushed for 241 yards with great blocking by their offensive line. Giovanni Criss rushed for 220 yards to lead TMT Elite. Alex Oller recovered a fumble while Zyin Gray, Giovanni Criss, and Antonio Criss each had an interception. The Rebels were led by Hasani Johnson with 37 yards rushing and QB Jacob Stiles passed for 198 yards. Johnson also caught 6 passes for 150 yards. Jaxon Kahananui recovered a fumble for the Rebels defense. September 22 nd & 24 th, 2018 The Las Vegas Union defeated the North Las Vegas Mustangs 35-0 at Bonanza High School Alphonso Nedd scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Union to victory. Nedd scored on slippery runs covering 40 & 12-yards. Also scoring for the Union were, Cameron Turner on a 52-yard run, Isaiah Roman on a sweet 30-yard pick 6 TD return, and Dominik Dadkah on a brilliant 73-yard run. The Union scored 35 point by the 4 th quarter resulting in the mercy rule. The Union offense rushed for 177 yards with Cameron Turner gaining 107 yards and Alphonso Nedd adding 52 yards rushing. The Union defense was spectacular allowing 27 total yards. Isaiah Roman had an interception. The Mustangs gave it their best shot and showed a lot of heart in defeat. The Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks defeated the Southern Highlands Jr. Rebels 34-0 at Desert Oasis High School Theodore Edquilang scored 1 touchdown and passed for another score to lead the Desert Oasis Jr Diamondbacks to victory over the Southern Highlands Jr. Rebels. Edquilang scored on a 2-yard blast and passed 15 yards to Kenneth Niumataevalu for a touchdown. Also scoring for the Diamondbacks were,

5 Jaden Beals on a 13-yard run, Treven Edington on a 2-yard run, and Semaj Williams on a 15-yard scamper. The Diamondbacks offense rushed for 194 yards with Jaden Beals gaining 100 yards and Theodore Edquilang and Treven Edington combining for 72 yards rushing. QB Edquilang also passed for 29 yards. The Diamondbacks defense was up to snuff, allowing 35 total yards. Benjamin Solomon, Grant Kelly, and Xavier Rosales each had an interception. Isaac Balden recovered a fumble for the Diamondbacks. The Rebels were led by Dasani Ross with fumble a recovery. The Falcons Hit Squad defeated the Las Vegas Rams 35-0 at Coronado High School Joshua Durggan had a fantastic game scoring 3 touchdowns to power the Falcons Hit Squad to victory. Durggan scored on powerful runs covering 1, 9, and 27 yards. Also scoring for the Falcons were, X- Zavier Christopher on a tricky 41-yard run and a 2-yard run. Saione Inoke also scored on a 2-point safety. The Falcons tallied 35 point by the 4 th quarter resulting in the mercy rule. The Falcons offense rushed for 271 yards behind sensational blocking by their offensive line. X-Zavier Christopher rushed for 103 yards and Joshua Durggan and Ray Carmel combined for 124 yards rushing. The Falcons defense did a superb job, allowing 22 total yards. Isaiah Teo recovered a fumble and Alex Madrid had an interception for the Falcons. The Rams played very hard and showed great determination. They look forward to next week s action. TMT Elite defeated the Pahrump Trojans 19-0 at Pahrump Valley High School Giovanni Criss had an excellent game scoring 3 touchdowns to power the TMT Elite to a super victory. Criss scored on runs covering 2, 6, and 32-yard scampers. The TMT Elite offense rushed for 146 yards with Giovanni Criss gaining 96 yards and Derek Hurley adding 39 yards rushing. The TMT Elite defense played fantastic allowing 10 total yards. For the TMT Elite defense, King Johnson had an interception and Lewis Davis recovered a fumble. The Trojans were led by Kayne Horibe with a fumble recovery. The Las Vegas Rams defeated the North Las Vegas Mustangs 35-0 at Ed Fountain Park on Monday Night Jayden Edwards scored 2 touchdowns and passed for another touchdown to power the Las Vegas Rams to victory on Monday night over the Mustangs. Edwards scored on 18 & 3-yard runs. He also passed 20 yards to Fabian Carmona for a touchdown. Also scoring for the Rams were, Javion Gunter on an awesome 44-yard run, Kristopher Greene scored on a 14-yard run, and Kenneth Hill scored on a 19-yard scamper. The Rams offense rushed for 145 yards with Javion Gunter gaining 54 yards and Kenneth Hill, and Jayden Edwards combing for 62 yards rushing. The Rams defense was great allowing -15 total yards. Kenneth Hill had an interception and Javion Gunter recovered a fumble for the Rams defense. The Mustangs played very hard with great pride and determination. They look to improve in next week s game. September 15 th, 2018 Falcons Hit Squad defeated TMT Elite 32-0 at Western HS

6 X-Zavier Christopher and Josuha Durggan each scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Falcons Hit Squadto victory. Christopher scored on 10 & 47-yard scampers while Durggan scored on 19 & 37-yard runs. Alex Madrid also scored for the Falcons on an 18-yard TD pass from QB Malakai Gutcher. The Falcons offense rushed for 174 yards with X-Zavier Christopher and Joshua Durggan combining for 158 yards. The Falcons defense was superb allowing 2 total yards. Alex Madrid recovered a fumble and Ray Carmell had an interception. TMT Elite gave it their all, but the Falcons were top dog in this game. The Las Vegas Rams def the Pahrump Trojans 27-0 at Coronado HS Kristopher Greene scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Rams to victory. Greene scored on an awesome 60-yard kickoff return and a 1-yard run. Also scoring for the Rams were Kenneth Hill on a 20- yard run and Jayden Edwards on a sweet 50-yard run. The Rams offense rushed for 152 yards with Jayden Edwards gaining 77 yards and Kenneth Hill adding 53 yards rushing. The Rams defense was superb allowing 37 total yards. Donaven Ogburn recovered a fumble for the Rams. The Trojans were led by Ethen Hutchinson with 41 yards rushing. Southern Highlands Jr. Rebels def. the N. Las Vegas Mustangs at Del Sol HS Jacob Stiles passed for 3 touchdowns to power the Southern Highland Jr. Rebels to victory. Stiles passed for 2 touchdowns to Hassani Johnson and 52-yards to Eliseo Villa. Also scoring for the Rebels were, Sharaad Robertson on fumble recovery and Dasani Ross on a 15-yard run. The Mustangs scored on super runs of 55 & 48 yards by Marcel Matlock. The Rebels were led by QB Jacob Stiles with 12 completions on 22 attempts for 191 yards. Hassani Johnson caught 8 passes for 115 yards. For the Rebels defense, Kyrie Romanowski, Sharaad Robertson, Jaxon Kahananui, Hassani Johnson, and Keyshawn Coleman each recovered a fumble. The Mustangs offense rushed for 140 yards with Marcel Matlock gaining 139 yards rushing. For the Mustangs defense, Matlock and Teodoro Duran each recovered a fumble. Also scoring for the Diamondbacks were, # 5 on a 20-yard run and Theodore Edquilang on a beautiful 40-yard run. The Diamondbacks offense rushed for 238 yards behind super blocking by their offensive line. Jersharius Lawrence rushed for 126 yards and # 5 added 54 yards rushing. September 8 th, 2018 The Las Vegas Rams defeated TMT Elite 7-6 at Del Sol HS Javion Gunter scored the game winning touchdown to power the LV Rams to a monster victory. The 1 st half was scoreless, with smash mouth football, were both teams played phenomenal defense. The Rams scored in the 3 rd quarter on an amazing 55 yard run by Jayden Edwards, and a would be game winning 1

7 point conversion by Javion Gunter. With the Rams up 7-0 in the 4 th quarter, TMT Elite scored on a pick 6 TD by Tamarea White. Now trialing 7-6, they attempted a game tying 1-point conversion. But the Rams defense rose to the occasion and stopped the conversion try for a 7-6 final score. The Rams offense rushed for 110 yards with Jayden Edwards gaining 96 yards. The Rams defense was super allowing 70 total yards. Donaven Ogburn recovered a fumble, and Kristopher Greene recovered 2 fumbles to lead the Rams defense. TMT Elite were led by QB Giovanni Criss with 33 yards passing, and on defense King Johnson recovered a fumble, and Tamarea White had an interception. The Pahrump Trojans defeated the North Las Vegas Mustangs 26-0 at Rancho HS Austin Alvarez and Kayne Horibe each scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Pahrump Trojans to victory. Alvarez scored on nifty 20 & 21 yard scampers, and Horibe scored on allusive 57 & 28 yard runs. The Trojans offense rushed for 217 yards behind excellent blocking by their offensive line. Kayne Horibe rushed for 119 yards, and Austin Alvarez added 73 yards rushing. The Trojans defense was outstanding, allowing -25 total yards. Matthew Judkins, Cory O Neal, and Ethan Hutchinson each recovered a fumble. The Mustangs were led by #33 with a fumble recovery. The Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks defeated the Falcons Hit Squad 12-6 in OT at Desert Oasis HS Bishop Allen scored the game winning touchdown to lead the Desert Oasis Jr Diamondbacks to a mammoth victory. After a scoreless 1 st quarter, the Falcons scored in the 2 nd quarter on a 2-yard plunge by X-Zavier Christopher for a 6-0 lead. The Diamondbacks answered back with an incredible 73 yard pic 6 TD return by Jersharius Lawrence for a 6-6 tie score. The 2 nd half was all big boy defense by both squads, and the score was tied 6-6 at the end of regulation play. In OT the Diamondbacks scored on a 1- yard run by Bishop Allen for a 13-6 lead. The Falcons took over, but the Diamondbacks shut them down for a 13-6 final score. The Diamondbacks were led by Jersharius Lawrence with 49 yards rushing. On defense, Isaac Balden and Nigel Edwards recovered fumbles, and Lawrence had an interception. The Falcons were led by Joshua Durggan with 82 yards rushing. On defense Marshawn Leaks recovered a fumble and had a sack for the Falcons. 8 The Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks defeated the Pahrump Trojans 35-0 at Desert Oasis HS Jersharius Lawrence scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Desert Oasis Jr Diamondbacks to victory. Lawrence scored on 6 & 9-yard runs. Also scoring for the Diamondbacks were, Treven Edington on a sweet 50-yard TD pass from QB Lawrence, # 35 on a 2-yard run, Theodore Edquilang on a 20-yard TD pass from QB Bishop Allen, and Jaden Beals on a 9-yard run. The Diamondbacks offense rushed for 162 yards with Jersharius Lawrence gaining 63 yards and Theodore Edquilang adding 36 yards rushing. Edquilang, Lawrence, and Allen combined for 83 yards passing. The Diamondbacks defense was outstanding, allowing 3 total yards. # 35, Emmanuel Baines, # 14, and Terrel Mosley recovered fumbles for the Diamondbacks defense. The Trojans played hard, but the Diamondbacks vast experience took its toll. The Falcons Hit Squaddefeated the Las Vegas Union 35-0 at Western HS # 35 scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Falcons Hit Squadto victory. # 35 scored on 60 & 62-yard super runs. Also scoring for the Falcons were, # 2 on a 25-yard run and # 84 on a 10-yard run. The Falcons offense rushed for 181 yards with # 35 gaining 136 yards. The Falcons defense was superb allowing -16 total yards. # 2 had an interception and # 35 had a fumble recovery. The Union played hard and did their best, they look to rebound in next week s action.
