Our president,,resigned the presidency in August. On behalf of the club, I want to thank Paul for his service. I will, for now, be the acting president. Our 42nd Show and Auction was a success, thanks to the great effort of so many people. It always amazes, me to see what can get done when people work together.on behalf of the club, I especially want to thank George Goulart, who chaired the Show. And thanks also to so many people who made the weekend happen- so many people volunteered that I will not name names, but thanks to all for the many hours everyone put in. It was great to see the joy on Kirk's daughter's face when she realized that she had won the Dan Angolano Memorial Award-the 10 gallon tank set-up. That's what it's all about. Thank you to George Goulart,, and Tony Terciera for their talk in August on showing and bagging fish. There were many helpful tips.! Rick Burt! Acting President, TFSRI We appreciate the continued support of our sponsors. If you would like to sponsor the Tropical Fish Society of Rhode Island or are a current sponsor and have a new advertising graphic for the Tankquilizer, please tfsri-admin@tfsri.net! 2
