Invitation is valid to all member nations and national fishing federations recognized by the FIPSed. The official website of the championship is where you will be able to find all information regarding event venue, fishing ground, a detailed schedule and also some information. It is located 35 km from the regional center of Pazardzhik, 55 km from the airport Plovdiv, and 147 km from the airport Sofia. The town is the administrative center of the municipality of Batak. 7 XVI WORLD ICE FISHING CHAMPIONSHIP Reserve fishing area Lake: Shiroka polyana Location: The dam is located 30 km south of the town of Batak Water area: 19 km2 Altitude: 1504 m Depth: average m, deepest spot m Fish species: perch (perca fluviatilis), roach (rutilus rutilus), chub (leuciscus cephalus), crucian (carassius carassius) Catch limits and minimum length Chub (leuciscus cephalus) 22 cm. 9 XVI WORLD ICE FISHING CHAMPIONSHIP Team Composition Official Team Composition a maximum of 6 competitors (5 primary + 1 reserve) 2 Captains 1 Delegate Non Official Team Support Personnel, Media and Others Teams are allowed to bring additional support personnel, in addition to the Official Team. Participation fees Registration fee: 1450 euro per team (6 competitors, 2 captains, 1 delegate), which includes the FIPSed fee 150 euro per team, the closing banquet, awards, 6 fishing permits, insurance, souvenirs etc. The cost of one closing banquet for any additional person (exceeding 9 persons) is 50. It is possible for members of the national delegations and accompanying people to book extra accommodation and catering for additional days before the date mentioned in the official program. Please make sure your payment details contain name of your country team, for example: Russian team, Swedish team and so on. Before transferring the amount for official accommodation, please contact the Organizing committee to inform you of the availability of rooms in each of the three hotels.
