4 GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES : This is a PDGA sanctioned event and all rules governing play according to the PDGA are in effect for the duration of the tournament. If there is a scoring or rule dispute that cannot be resolved within the player s group and an Official is not available, use a provisional throw, record both scores, and continue the round. Consult the TD for a ruling at the end of the round. This is a PDGA Major event. The use of tobacco products by players (and by extension their caddies) is prohibited at all PDGA Majors from the two-minute warning until their scorecard is turned in. This prohibition includes all smoking and chewing tobacco products as well as electronic and vapor cigarettes. Dress Code: See Section 3.4 of the PDGA Competition Manual for the proper General Course Rules (ALL COURSES): 1. Surrounded by water is OB, this includes streams, creeks, tributaries, and the lake unless otherwise noted on the individual course rules. 2. The 2 meter rule is NOT in effect. 3. Asphalt and beyond is OB, gravel is not. 4. Any areas/creeks that are marked with yellow rope are OB within the rope, unless otherwise noted on the individual course rules.

8 HISTORY Starting out of Rock Hill, South Carolina, for the first three years, The United States Women s Disc Golf Championship was then taken over by Bill Old Man & Mary Ann Mom Wallis. Making the USWDGC what it is today, Old Man and Mom ran the tournament for six years out of Peoria, Illinois. This event, now being awarded through a bidding process each year, has become the premier event for women in the sport. After 7 years in retirement, Mom and Old Man are back!
