Dit is onder andere ons visie om in hierdie jaar vir ons seuns bewus te maak van die belangrikheid om ook na ander uit te reik. The Charity Week provides a wonderful opportunity to reach out to those who are less fortunate. Each grade received a specific project that they were introduced to and are responsible for. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to these outreach projects. There will still be a chance to send products or donations in aid of the Charity Week during this coming week. Other: porridge, sugar, flour, long-life milk, rice, pasta & soup Gr. 3 Toiletries: All the basics & nappies/shoes Stationery: pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, crayons. Gr. 6 Boland Autism school The Little Fighters Cancer Trust Shoes / Rain jackets Gr. 7 Die nasorgleerders het Maandag oorgetrek na hul nuwe hoofkwartier. Die Aktiwiteitsentrum sal voortaan dien as die nuwe hoofkwartier van die nasorg. n Nuwe kombuis en ekstra badkamers vir ons seuns is gedurende die vakansie aangebou om funksionaliteit te bevorder. Die voorbereiding vir die volgende fase van infrastruktuur verbeteringe, word tans getref. Soos met enige bouprojek veroorsaak dit ongemak en ontwrigting. Die vooruitsig van beter geriewe, maak dit egter alles die moeite werd. Many of our boys are currently taking part in the Conquesta Academic Olympiad. I want to wish them all the best. MC Prins, Geo Groenewald, Lucien du Plessis and Samuel Botha qualified for the Final Round of the Astro Quizz Competition. This is an exceptional achievement and our best wishes accompany them. Dit is ook met groot trots dat ek vir Ernst Kirsten wil gelukwens met sy tweede plek by die Nasionale ATKVredenaarskompetisie. Dit beteken hy is die tweede beste redenaar in ons land! Dit is voorwaar in grootse prestasie. Welgedaan! Jeré Brits het deelgeneem aan die Gholf Wêreldkampioenskappe in North Carolina, Amerika. Hy is tans 96ste op die wêreldranglys. 4 PRESTASIES: Retief Hugo het gedurende die vakansie aan die Western Cape Winter short course swimming championship deelgeneem. Het het n derde plek behaal in die 100m borsslag seuns o.13. Dylan Kayne het n 32ste plek en Jeré Brits n 18de plek bepaal tydens die Taylormade o.14 UitnodigingsGholftoernooi. Sebastian Meyer passed Trinity Grade 2 Piano with Merit. Well done on this achievement! The following teams competed in the National Astroquiz competition on Astronomy that hundreds of schools Senior Phase learners take part in. Team 1: Justin de Villiers, Albert Kotze, Billy Cronje, Jaybe Aries. Team 2: Hugo Engelbrecht, Ziyaad Saban, Ralph Shepherd, Morgun Moller Team 3: MC Prins, Geo Groenewald, Lucien du Plessis, Samuel Botha. James Roberts en Michael de Beer is ingesluit in die PSI Boland o.12 Binnehuise hokkie-spanne wat van 6-9 Julie aan die Nasionale toernooi gaan deelneem. Heinrich Loock het aan die Kans!Vatter Redenaars Kompetisie deelgeneem. Hy het vir sy voorbereide toespraak 86% behaal en vir sy onvoorbereide toespraak 83%. Baie geluk aan Ruben Britz (o.11a), Ben Heydenrech (o.13b) en Ivor Buger (o.13b) wat gekies is vir die Boland Junior Muurbalspanne. Micah van Wijk represented Boland Province at the SARMAF National Kickboxing Championship on the 21 and 22 July 2017.He received a 3rd place in the Points Form and the Continuous Form.
