2 ORGANIZER INDONESIA JUNIOR AMATEUR OPEN 2015 will be managed by championship committee whose decision in all matter relating to the championship shall be final. Herein after called the Committee VENUE & DATE Gombel Golf Semarang, August 18 21, 2015 ELIGIBILITY The Championship is sanctioned by PGI Central Java Chapter and open to all junior golfer who is under 18 years of age on August 18, 2015 and similarly for their age groups. All players must be an amateur in accordance with the rules of amateur status as approved by the R & A Rules Limited. SIZE OF FIELD The field shall be limited to 144 players. Each International member Union/Association can nominated 8 junior players. The Organizing Committee will take great pleasure in inviting four players (one of age group years old and one of age group years old for boys and girls), nominated by your Union/Association to participate in the above Championship and form two teams in the International Team Event. The Organizing Committee has the right to finalize the number of golfers to play in this tournament FORMAT The Individual competition will be conducted over the following age groups: BOYS DIVISION Group Age H cp Limit H cp Index Class A years old 11 or lower 8.1 Class B years old 15 or lower 12.6 Class C years old 20 or lower 17.8 Class D 10 years & under 25 or lower 21.8 GIRLS DIVISION Group Age H cp Limit H cp Index Class A years old 11 or lower 9.3 Class B years old 15 or lower 13.2 Class C years old 20 or lower 17.5 Class D 10 years & under 25 or lower 21.8 Note: If the number of entries is less than 6 in any of above groups, the Organizing Committee may, at its absolute discretion, combine the players to play in any other group or groups. 3 International Team Event: Boys Team Event: Each Boys Team must comprise of 2 players, one from Class A and one from Class B. The total of the team s score for 4 rounds shall be the team s scorer for the Championship. The team returning the lowest score for the Championship shall be the winner. Girls Team Event: Each Girls Team must comprise of 2 players, one from Class A and one from Class B. The total of the team s score for 3 rounds shall be the team s scorer for the Championship. The team returning the lowest score for the Championship shall be the winner. MANNER OF PLAY 72 holes stroke play competition for Boys Class A & B. 54 holes stroke play competition for Boys Class C & D. 54 holes stroke play competition for Girls Class A, B, C & D. TEES Boys Class A : Black tee meters Course/Slope Rating 71.4/137 Boys Class B : Blue tee meters Course/Slope Rating 70.3/135 Boys Class C : White tee meters Course/Slope Rating 68.9/133 Boys Class D : Red tee meter Course/Slope Rating 71.7/131 Girls Class A : White tee meters Course/Slope Rating 68.9/133 Girls Class B : White tee meters Course/Slope Rating 68.9/133 Girls Class C : Red tee meters Course/Slope Rating 71.7/131 Girls Class D : Yellow tees meters AWARDS Trophies will be awarded to: Individual Competition: a. Overall Champion Trophy and prize will be granted to the lowest score of Boys Class A & B. b. Overall Champion Trophy and prize will be granted to the lowest score of Girls Class A & B. c. Trophies and prizes will be granted to the Champion and 4 Runner-ups of Boys Classes A, B, C & D d. Trophies and prizes will be granted to the Champion and 4 Runner-ups Girls Classes A, B, C & D e. Lowest Daily Score Trophy will be awarded to the lowest score from all Boys and Girls Divisions In the interest of fellowship, a player who wins more than one trophy shall select the one he/she wishes to receive and shall give up the other(s) to the players(s) next in line. 4 Team Competition: The Arjuna Challenge Cup shall be awarded to the boys team (A & B) champion (the team with the lowest total score for 4 days) : a. Champion b. 1st Runner-up c. 2nd Runner-up The Srikandi Challenge Cup Trophy shall be awarded to the girls team (A & B) champion (the team with the lowest total score for 3 days) : a. Champion b. 1st Runner-up c. 2nd Runner-up TIES Ties for first place, in both team and individual competitions, will be settled by a hole-by-hole play-off. Team Captain should appoint one of the team members from Class A or B to represent their teams in the hole-by-hole play-offs. Play-off is applicable only for the individual Overall Champion of class A & B. All minor placings shall be decided based on a count back system as follows: a. Last 18 holes, if a tie still persists, then, b. Last 9 holes, if a tie still persists, then, c. Last 6 holes, if a tie still persists, then, d. Last 3 holes, if a tie still persists, then, e. Hole 18. If a tie still persists, then the preceding 18 holes, 9 holes, 6 holes, 3 holes in that order OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND Players are entitled to one free practice round (Caddy Fee Rp ,-) on Monday Morning, August 17, 2015 at Gombel Golf Semarang (Last tee off time at 11.00) and must be reserved in advance. Practice round before that date will be subject to payment of Green Fees. This does not apply to Members of Gombel Golf Semarang. Players may practice at the driving range upon payment on his/her account (Rp ,- PRICE FOR 50 BALLS). RULES OF GOLF The Championship will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by The R&A Rules Limited, PGI Hard Card, Additional Condition of Competition and Local Rules approved by the Organizing Committee. Disputes, if any, will be settled by the Organizing Committee, and a decision made by the Organizing Committee will be final. The Indonesia Junior Amateur Open Golf Championship

5 PACE OF PLAY The player shall play in accordance with the laid down Pace of play guidelines. Please refer to PGI Hard Card. COMPETITION CLOSED The championship shall be deemed to have closed when the prizes has been awarded to the winners. DECISION If referee has been appointed by the Committee his/ her decision shall be final (rule 34-2). In absence of referee, any dispute or doubtful point on the rules must be forwarded to the committee, whose decisions shall be final (rule 34-3) DISPUTES Any disputes or doubtful points on the rules shall be referred to the committee as soon as possible on completion of the round and in any case not later than 15 minutes after finishing the round INDEMNITY OR LIABILITIES In signing of entry form, participant in this tournament shall intensify and not hold liable to the organizer. The Organizing committee and their staff will not be responsible for any lost damage or harm, or any form of injuries that participation of the tournament may suffer as result of their participation in this tournament. MOTORIZED CARS Unless otherwise permitted by the Committee, players shall not use automotive transportation during a stipulated round. GOLF CART WILL BE PROVIDED FOR TEAM CAPTAINS ONLY (PERSONAL COST) INCLEMENT WEATHER The Committee will make every effort to complete this event in its entirety. However, The Committee reserves the right to suspend or abandon play as necessary if weather-related circumstances require such action. In the unlikely event the course is unplayable and abandons play or other conditions warranting such action. The Committee then will decide the action taken for The Tournament and all competitors will be informed accordingly. The Indonesia Junior Amateur Open Golf Championship

6 SERIOUS BREACH OF ETIQUETTE All players should practice good etiquette as detailed out in Section 1 of the Rules of Golf. The overriding principle is that consideration should be shown to others on the course at all time. The following may be considered serious breaches of etiquette for this competition: The use of mobile phones and any other similar noise making devices (i.e. noise making pager, radios, Ipods, MP3, Blackberries) during play to the annoyance and distractions of other players. However, repetitive usage of a mobile phone without consideration to other players, or Intentionally distracting or offending fellow competitors, or Verbal abuse of fellow competitors / officials / staff, will be considered as unbecoming conduct (a serious breach of etiquette R. 33-7). Note: Any other breach of etiquette not listed above will be dealt with by the Committee on an individual basis. PENALTY FOR SERIOUS BREACH OF ETIQUETTE: DISQUALIFICATION under Rule 33-7 OTHERS a. Tee times and pairings will be posted on the announcement board at the Club House, website and at the information desk at the Hotel and will be distributed to all players at Gombel Golf Semarang. b. Markers (scorer) will be assigned to the Class D players. When the situation requires, the Organizing Committee will also assign a marker (scorer) to players in other classes. c. Players must use official caddies assigned by the host club. THE COMMITTEE In the event that the Committee is required to make any decision involving the penalty of disqualification in relation to Rule 33-7, each country whose player is involved may appoint a non-voting observer to attend.
