2 Thank You On behalf of the Salt Lake Valley Law Enforcement Association, we would like to thank you for your continued support. Annually we put on a fantastic golf event in Park City to benefit the members of the Salt Lake Valley Law Enforcement Association. Your local law enforcement officers face challenges every day and are the first on scene to protect and save lives, often while risking their own. The Golf FORE-the-Association tournament was created to raise funds to assist law enforcement officers when faced with critical incidents during their daily tasks as being officers. The Association is there immediately to support our public safety officers in their greatest time of need. Thank you once again for your support of this important cause. The Salt Lake Valley Law Enforcement Association (formerly the Unified Police Federation) was formed October 2004, with the intent of improving the overall working conditions of the proud men and women who serve within the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake. The Association actively provides support and assistance for its membership and associates. We also provide training and organizational assistance for other labor organizations throughout the State of Utah. At present the Association represents over 500 Officers, including Sergeants, Lieutenants, and Captains assigned within the Unified Police Department. The phenomenal growth of our organization reflects the commitment of our members to constructive engagement on critical issues that affect not just the men and women of the UPD, but every citizen who lives in or visits our beautiful county. One way we raise funds is our annual golf tournament. All the money raised will go to support the Salt Lake Valley Law Enforcement Association and its members. We truly appreciate the support from our sponsors and look forward to a great tournament.
