1 3A GOLF CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS KIT 2016 Enclosed in this kit are all the necessary forms for the proper administration of your Feel free to make as many copies of the general information sheet that you may need to post at the tournament site. The items in this kit are: 1. 3A Conference Tournament Information 2. 3A State Tournament Information 3. 3A State Entry Form From Conference Tournament (boys/girls) 4. 3A Invitation Letters for State Tournament (boys/girls) Before the event do the following: 1. For Boys make six (6) copies of the 3A State Tournament Information form and print the six (6) 3A Invitation Letters for State Tournament. 2. For Girls make six (6) copies of the 3A State Tournament Information form and print the six (6) 3A Invitation Letters for State Tournament. After the event do the following: 1. Hand out the Invitation Letter for 3A State Tournament and hand out the 3A State Tournament Information sheet to each qualifying team and individual. 2. Fill out and forward the 3A State Entry Form to the State Tournament Director (Boys/Girls) and the AAA. Please make sure that all names are spelled correctly and are legible. 4 2016 3A BOYS GOLF Conference Class 3A State Golf Qualifying Each conference shall rank players 1-18 according to how they finish in the conference When the state tournament director receives the results from each conference, the pairings shall be in foursomes with a member from each conference in each foursome. The state tournament director will put the ones (#1) together from each conference, twos (#2) together from each conference and so on to the eighteenth position. If a shotgun start is used, the number ones should start on Hole 1, twos on hole 2 and so on to Hole 18. Ties to determine team and individual qualifiers to the state tournament will be played off. Ties to establish rankings for qualifiers will be carded. Ties to determine rankings will be carded starting on the number 1 handicapped hole, going to the number 2 handicapped hole and so on until all ties are broken.
