5 League Setup Teams will be formed by Handicap Flights will be formed within team Players in the same flight will play against each other Flights could change after 8 weeks, After June 29th matches flights will be adjusted. You will always be on the same team. You may change Flight C to D or C to B or C to A 5

6 Member Responsibility Set-up Tee-time with opponent If opponent can t play on the Scheduled Monday A. Try to Pre-Play with Opponent B. Try to get a substitute C. If a and B can t be obtained. If opponent cannot make match or if no subs are available, player will play the course. (see rules for playing the course.) D. Make sure your opponent knows if you are getting a Sub and who is the Sub. Arrive promptly for match if opponent is more than 15 minutes later than agreed time - play round and match up cards later. Get card signed by someone you played with. Call the course if you will be late. League play is to be on Mondays. If you need to reschedule, the match must be played prior to the Monday of the match. Cards must be signed, attested and the card should be left at the Whip in the Golf Divas envelope. 6 Pre-Play Put the date on card that you are Pre-Playing your match for, sign card and turn into the office at the Whip. Also, send Carla an stating your Pre-Played.

Follow USGA rules, league rules of play, course regulations, and By-laws Keep accurate & legible scorecards Print FULL NAME on score card next to scores Sign scorecard Submit scorecards to Carla Tremblay on night of match She enters scores into software which updates handicaps, individual/team scores and posts on web site 7 Using the ball shoot to determine tee-off order As soon as you and your opponent are ready to play, put a ball in the ball shoot to get in-line to tee-off on the first hole If you are scheduled to play the course, you do not have to wait until all foursomes have gone out before you put your ball in the shoot. Preferred lies in your own Fairway is allowed.

10 Scoring Info Scores from cards posted to web within 48 hours It is critical that both players put their whole name on the card and attest scores by signing. On rainy days where game play has not been cancelled, please hand in and sign a card, regardless if all 9 holes have been played. Subs need to note who they are playing for on the scorecard Handicaps will be based on last 5 rounds of last season. 10

11 LESSONS BY JOSH 11 JOSH INSTRUCTION AT THE WHIP Souhegan Woods is offering an innovative approach to welcoming women out onto the golf course. For 4 weeks you can come to the course for 30 minutes of instruction followed by some holes of golf with close supervision. Instruction will proceed at a pace appropriate to each player. During the round of golf, the instructor will accompany the women onto the course for several holes. The focus will be on golf etiquette and a guide through the process of playing golf. The design of this program is targeted at beginning women golfers but may also serve as a great fresher for golfers of all abilities. "Women's Novice League" will be held on Monday Nights starting at 5pm. The cost is $160 for the session including range balls, greens fees, and instruction. Sessions will be limited to 8 golfers.
