2 This is what you can look forward to when you board the plane in October: 2 :: Friday 19 October The group departs from Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town the choice is yours. And an added bonus is that the luggage allowance will be 2 x 23 kg per person. :: Saturday 20 October On arrival at Bangkok s magnificent airport, we are transferred by air-conditioned 10-seater Comfort Vans to our 4-star resort hotel in Pattaya. Situated at the northern end of this bustling seaside resort town, this will be our base for the next eight nights on a bed and buffet breakfast basis. Guests have the choice of the comfortable Superior rooms or the luxury of the upgrade De Luxe rooms. The hotel also has two swimming pools with sun tanning in a tropical garden atmosphere and even a swim-up bar. 4 :: Monday 22 October Our first round of golf in Thailand will be at Burapha GC, home to the PATTAYA OPEN on the Asian tour. Not only is Burapha a true championship course, it is also one of the most scenic courses in Thailand. 4 Burrapha...challenging and stunning Thai golfing experience at its best All transfers golf transfers during the tour are by modern air-conditioned 10-seater mini-busses (2 fourballs) and caddy fees and golf buggies are included in the package price. 6 :: Wednesday 24 October 6 Today is a break from golf and you have the opportunity to choose from the many attractions and outings offered in and around Pattaya. And for those who want to play golf today, that is easily arranged. A visit to Coral Island, an hour s boat cruise off the coast is always a highlight, where the warm crystal clear waters are perfect for cooling down and for the adventurous there is parasailing, snorkelling and jet-skiing. Take a walk through possibly the world s largest jewellery store to marvel at the selection and buy something to spoil a loved one. Then there is also the party catamaran be prepared! 7 7 :: Thursday 25 October Laem Chabang Golf and Country Club is Jack Nicklaus s highly-acclaimed contribution to golf in Thailand and is guaranteed to be long remembered by all who walk its luscious green fairways. This championship course is undoubtedly one of the finest you will ever play, with its 27-hole layout the 'Mountain', 'Lake' and Creek loops each offering interesting variations in terrain. Playing an optional round of golf, enjoying the sights and excursions, shopping or just relaxing beside the ocean or the pool, it will be as busy or relaxed as you want it to be. 9 :: Sunday 28 October This morning there is a chance to do some shopping, get one last massage, work on the tan or even play a very early round of golf. And there is sure to be time for one last beer before our early afternoon transfer to Bangkok Airport for our flight back home. :: Monday 29 October Our flight arrives in Johannesburg late-morning, and it s time to share our memories of wonderful Thailand with all those unfortunate folk that missed out on all the fun of Pattaya. GENERAL INFORMATION AND TOUR CONDITIONS: Price: The price of the tour is subject to Standard Terms and Conditions, exchange rates and airfares and taxes at time of final payment. The price of the package is based on a minimum of 30 passengers and a reduction in this number may lead to a price adjustment for the tour package. Deposit and Payment: A deposit of R3 500,00 PER PERSON is payable on booking and is not refundable unless in the case of the cancellation of the tour by the tour operators. You are therefore encouraged to take out travel insurance which includes a cancellation clause. Liabilities: The Golf Travel Company and/or their agents, in making arrangements for air and land services, act as agents only and on condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, death, damage, loss, accidental delay or irregularity that may be occasioned by any defect in any vehicle or form of conveyance or mishap at any place of accommodation, or for any reason whatsoever. Insurance: Passengers are advised to have travel insurance for injury, death, accident and medical expenses, enforced pre-tour cancellation and loss of luggage. Changes to bookings: In the event of a change being made to your flight arrangements, including post-tour extensions and breakaways, an additional fee will be charged by the operating airline. Cancellations and Refunds: No refund can be made for visits, sightseeing, meals, transfers, accommodation, golf or other services included in the tour price which were not utilized. No air tickets will be issued until full and final payment is received and the airline s late ticket issue levy will apply in the event of late payment.
