2 INDICITAVE MAP We show you all the most important points related to the Run and the nearest parking places. Near the Arena, where the start and finish Run are located, there are several large car parks: * At Arena Swimming Pool (Street: Kochanowskiego 6) * At Arena Hostel (Street: Kochanowskiego 6) * At Biedronka Market (Emilii Plater Street) * At Lidl Market (Żaganny Street) * At Tesco Supermarket (Reymonta Street) * along Konopnickiej Street Caution! Parking at Arena s zone (Kochanowskiego 6) will be closed for the entire run! You will only be able to enter there till and leave only after 13.30! Caution! It s strictly forbidden to park along Kochanowskiego Street. Parking there make it impossible to start the Run! 2 S t r o n a

3 RACE OFFICE Race office, where you can pick up your starting packages, will be located in Arena Gym, Address: Kochanowskiego 6. Office will be at 1st floor of building (there will be arrows). Opening hours of Race Office: Thursday, :00 19:00 Friday, :00 20:00 Saturday, Run s Day, :00 11:00 If possible, please pick up package on Thursday or Friday. In race office will be one stand dedicated english language people with english speaking staff. Starting packages we pick up personally. If the package is received by an authorized person, it must have a written authorization from the person whose packet is received (with the ID number and a copy of this document). CAUTION! In race office (but only on Thursday and Friday) we will have 30 more packages on Main Race (10 km), but only in last sector. Price: 65 polish zlotys per person. START - FINISH Start line will be at Kochanowskiego Street. Starting zone will be divided into five sectors boot. The information on which zone you are going to take will be on your number - in writing and in the color of the starting number: Sector Elite 20 men and 10 women with the best times at 10 kilometers in Gold names on a black background. Entrance to the sector from the starting line. Sector I Declared times less than 42 minutes. Orange colour. Entrance to the sector from the sidewalk side of the Arena. Sector II Declared times from 42,01 to 48 min. Red colour. Entrance to the sector from the sidewalk side of the Arena. Sector III Declared times from 48,01 to 55 minut. Green colour. Entrance to the sector from the sidewalk side of the Arena. Sector IV - Declared times over 55 min. White numbers. Entrance to the sector start from the back zone. CAUTION! YOU CAN T CHANGE THE DECLARED SECTOR BEFORE START! Each sector has one entrance - labeled. Unauthorized change of the "forward" sector at the start is a disqualification! However, you can change sectors "backward." The last sector will be open to every competitor. Competitors may enter the "slower" sectors, but never to "faster", than the color and description on the start number. To sectors you can enter only between 11:40 to 11:55. After 11:55 you can only enter the last sector (regardless of your number). Finish will be located on the tartan track Stadium Arena. 3 S t r o n a

4 In the finish zone will be medals for finishers, water, isotonics, warm drinks, fruit and sweets. After leaving the finish area, there is no possibility of returning there! Outside the finish zone - at the tennis courts - will be a warm meal for the runners. Only after showing the start number! Next will be the point of engraving medals - for 15 polish zlotys you will be able to engrave on the medal your name and time. LOCKER ROOMS, DEPOSIT, SHOWERS At Arena Gym, 1st floor will be deposit, where you can leave your personal belongings (you receive a bag for things). To pick them up after the run you have to show your start number. The deposit will be open from to On the 1st floor of the Arena, there are locker rooms, toilets, and showers. Toilets are also located directly on the tartan track of the stadium - behind the grandstand. There is definitely most of them! RACE ROUTE Lengh: 10 km (6,21 mi) Route: One loop in the middle of Żagań town. Course description: flat, fast, with only one uphill - 1 km before finish line. Water points on the route: 2,5 km & 7 km Course map: 4 S t r o n a

5 Course profile: AWARDING CEREMONY, LOTTERY Awarding ceremony will be near the finish line - under a large tent on Stadium. After ceremony will be lottery for all runners from main race. To win one of the prizes (we ll have about 70 prizes!), you must finish the race and be personally in receipt of the prize. You must have your own start numer.
