EPTNE OF ENTRIES The attention of intending exhibitors is drawn to the fact that entries are accepted subject to the rules of the Queensland hamber of gricultural Societies and to the onstitution and Rules of this Society/ssociation in addition to any Special Regulations which appear within this schedule. In the event of insufficient competitors in the Ring events classes may be run off earlier that stated in the Schedule. Please check with the Ring Steward. Nominations must be placed with the secretary and a nomination form filled in before commencement of events. ompetitors will then be given tickets to use in the ring. ll horses to be measured before commencement of events. Life measurements will be accepted with proof provided. n allowance of one-quarter (/) of an inch is to be made for shoes. bsolutely no responsibility shall be taken for prize money once competitors leave the ring. Free stalls/yards to all competition horses. Free amping for competitors. This Show reserves the right to carry out random tests for drugs in horses. REGULTIONS Horse to mean gelding or mare. For the purpose of this entire section, the following definitions will apply. Maiden: a horse or rider which has never won a first prize (excluding teams) at any agricultural show. Novice: a horse or rider which has not won an open champion or first at a royal show excepting maiden events. Galloway: Galloway is a horse measuring over 4hh but not exceeding 5hh. ll horses must be free of hereditary disease. ll riders must be neatly attired. ny contestant who, in the opinion of the Stewards, is not suitably attired, shall be precluded from competing in an event. Entrants in dult events must be 8 years or over. Entrants in hildren s or Pony events must be under 8 years of age. For hampionship events, first in the class only is eligible for the championship. Second prize winners in such classes to be held ready then after champion has been selected, the second in to compete for the reserve champion. local rider/horse is defined as a resident within the boundaries of the Paroo & Bulloo Shires for three months prior to the Show. In all rider classes, jumping and sporting events, competitors are eligible only to compete in their age groups. ll horses and riders are to compete under the guidelines and conditions of the Equestrian Federation of ustralia. In show jumping events, riders may compete on more than horse, however a horse may not be shared by competitors in the same class. In all events rider must wear a safety helmet of approved ustralian Standards. Points to be allocated from relevant events will be as follows: First 5 points, Second 3 points, Third point. In the event of a tie, a count back of the greatest number of firsts shall determine the winner. No points for hampion, Reserve or Pairs Events. The Judge s and Steward s decision shall be final.
