(6) RED DUMA has been runner up in all five starts and may well have to settle for that position again today. (1) AWAAMIR and (5) DEVIL ANSE are next best. Selections (7) MARVELLOUS NIGHT - (6) RED DUMA - (1) AWAAMIR - (5) DEVIL ANSE

Won at Deauville and Chantilly in October but was raised 6.5 Kg as a result 2. MILLFIELD - Twelfth of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Was in decent form before that and not without a chance here 3. ULTIMATE FIGHT - A close fourth of sixteen behind Weekfair here in a handicap last time out. Plenty weight for a three year old but has Soumillon on board 4. BOUQUET DE FLORES - Seventh of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Rarely runs a poor race and is interesting here today 5. ROSS CASTLE - Fourteenth of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Needs to improve from that but is back on a fair mark 6. DARK ORBIT - A close second of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Dropped 1 Kg for that run but hard to recommend here 8. LARIS - Fifth of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Looks well handicapped at the moment and could run in to a place 9. NAAB - Fourth of eight behind Lida in a Class 2 race at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Won a three year old handicap here in September but a tougher test today 10. AMADEUS WOLFE TONE - Fourth of fifteen behind Nine Ou Four in a Class G claimer at Chantilly last month. Has won two handicaps and a claimer this year but might find a few too good today 11. LARNO - Seventh of nine behind La Fibrossi in a claimer at Saint-Cloud nine days ago. Will need to improve on that to feature today 13. ORANGEFIELD - Sixth of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Consistent in Quinte handicaps this year and not without a chance today
14. STEMSTER - Fifth of seven behind Atreju in a Class G claimer at Clairefontaine last time out. Back on a fair mark but others preferred here today 15. CHAMPENOISE - Tenth of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. Won a couple of handicaps there before that but went up 6.5 Kg as a result 16. DES ANNEES FOLLES - Third of sixteen behind George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out. That was a good effort and she must be respected off bottom weight (6) DARK ORBIT had several of these behind when just touched off by George The Prince in a Class D handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last month. His last win came here in a Quinte handicap in October 2016 and he can gain an overdue success today. The bottom weight (16) DES ANNEES FOLLES was behind the selection in third last month and cannot be ruled out off this mark. (2) MILLFIELD and (3) ULTIMATE FIGHT are two more for the short list. (4) BOUQUET DE FLORES is next best. Selections (6) DARK ORBIT - (16) DES ANNEES FOLLES - (2) MILLFIELD - (3) ULTIMATE FIGHT - (4) BOUQUET DE FLORES - (13) ORANGEFIELD - (5) ROSS CASTLE - (9) NAAB
Race 4 1. LIDA - Has won two of her five and an obvious enough contender 2. FAZENDERA - Tripe winner from seven including at Toulouse last time so in form 3. IMPERIAL TANGO - Has won a quarter of her sixteen runs and arrives here bang in form 4. THANX FOR NOTHING - Triple winner from twelve and chance if putting up best form 5. THRUST HOME - Just the one win from twelve but has the services of Soumillon 6. SUNDAY SISTER - Off the mark on her third and last start and will have a say in this 7. RUEING - Dual winner from her six outings and represents top connections 8. SPANISH FLY - Just the one win from a dozen outings but is consistent overall 9. SCAPINA - Has won a third of her nine runs in Germany and not to be scoffed at here either 10. WEEKFAIR - She is four from nineteen and arrives for this in excellent nick 11. TURF LAUREL - Is a maiden after seven runs but has kept some illustrious company 12. GUERRIERE - One win from nine and is so ultra consistent that will take the beating here 13. SANJITA - Dual winner from ten outings and will have to go some to take this This is a belter of a Listed contest for three year old fillies. Laffon-Parias and Fabre are doubly represented and their representatives could fight out the finish. (12) GUERRIERE is chosen as she is so reliable and not short of ability either. Her price might be value too. (7) RUEING looks next best ahead of (10) WEEKFAIR and (1) LIDA. Selections (12) GUERRIERE - (7) RUEING - (10) WEEKFAIR - (1) LIDA
Race 5 1. WILD BUD - She is a dual winner including at Listed level but did disappoint last time out 2. BLUE SOAVE - Grand sort winning seventeen times from sixty five and will always try hard 3. PRINCESS ASTA - Very nice sort in Germany winning three Listed affairs and small each way shout 4. ART COLLECTION - Dual winner on the all-weather at Newcastle but poor on first run in this country 5. CHEIKELJACK - Four time winner from nine including at Group Three level. Can go well 6. GEORGE THE PRINCE - Just the five runs and has won two of the last three of those. On the upgrade 7. DER GRAUE - Ten time winner from forty two and chance if putting best foot forward 8. FOR EVER - Eight time winner from fifty two and could have place claims in open event 9. AL JOHRAH - Won first two runs last season and then performed well at very high level. Should improve for seasonal effort 10. EFILY - Triple winner from eleven and this looks a bit on the difficult side 11. PERFECTLY FAIR - Several wins in native Greece but this is a different ball game altogether (5) CHEIKELJACK has only raced eleven times in three seasons thus far and still managed four victories in that time. Those wins were achieved with a bit of class and one cannot help but feel there is still more to come. There will be a lot of market support for (9) AL JOHRAH who is on the comeback trail. (2) BLUE SOAVE and (6) GEORGE THE PRINCE can sit on the podium as well. Selections (5) CHEIKELJACK - (9) AL JOHRAH - (2) BLUE SOAVE - (6) GEORGE THE PRINCE
Race 6 1. YUME - 2. BELLCANTO - Five time winner from twenty nine and has a shout on best form 3. LA UNDECIMA - Dual winner this term and looks a strong contender for this 4. BABY JANE - Still a maiden after sixteen and will need to up game to take this 5. ROYAL ASPIRATION - Five time winner from fifty six and arrives here in really good health 6. CHANCHE THE LIFE - Five time winner from twenty nine but appears to be on the downgrade 7. ROYAL PRIZE - Hayley Turner takes the ride on this one but needs a big mark up 8. KING DAVID - Has won a dozen times from a multitude of runs but is in a bit of form 9. SECRETJIM - Just the one win from twenty three but looks a big outsider now 10. DUQUESA PENGUIN - Dual winner from twenty six but looks impossible to predict at times 11. KIEFFER DES AIGLES - Triple winner from forty and a third in Saint Cloud claimer last time 12. COUP FATALE - One win from eight runs but form is not progressing right now so that is a worry 13. JACK MUSCOLO - Six time winner who cannot be a ruled out after a promising run last time 14. PREDETERMINED - A sole success from twenty three and could easily take a hand in proceedings 15. NIGHT SHIFT - Has been in very good placed of late bar a blip on penultimate start so entitled to respect 16. GHOR - Eight time winning nine year old but it depends on which side of bed he got out of this morning 17. METEORITE - Still a maiden after twenty three runs but has placed quiet a bit in those (3) LA UNDECIMA is chosen to take this big field handicap. Christophe Soumillon is aboard the daughter of Acclamation who has the proven ability in this class
and was runner up twice at this venue before last time out effort. (5) ROYAL ASPIRATION might easily go off favourite and with merit. (8) KING DAVID has to have a shout. (6) CHANCHE THE LIFE and (14) PREDETERMINED must not be dismissed either. Selections (3) LA UNDECIMA - (5) ROYAL ASPIRATION - (8) KING DAVID - (6) CHANCHE THE LIFE - (14) PREDETERMINED
Race 7 1. MISTER FIVE EUROS - Dual winner who has been unplaced each three times when trying Listed but could hit here 2. DAIMYO - Off the mark on his last and seventh start which was at Chantilly and did that in style 3. ZANZI WIN - Won on his second start which was at Deauville but unplaced last time in Listed level 4. GOOD TO TALK - All five victories from sixteen have come in claimers so a bit to find but hard to fault record 5. CANOUVILLE - Dual claiming win from eight runs including at Saint-Cloud last time so in form 6. SO SORA - She has been kept bust with two wins from a dozen tries and plenty of places to boot 7. ELFEND - Placed third in two of her fur runs and could be of real interest here off this mark 8. THOUSAND GRANDS - Won two claimers in a row before finishing fourth in a similar event at Saint Cloud on hat trick bid 9. HISTORIA - Off the mark on her fourth and last start at Le Croise-Laroche and can have a say today 10. RACHAEL'S ROCKET - She has placed in five of her seven outings and could give a good account without winning 11. MA PETITE TOSCANE - Placed in two of her five runs and could conceivably be on the upgrade with a shout in this 12. GOSSIPE - One win from eight runs but last two efforts are very poor and is left now with something to prove 13. JOAN JET - Runner up twice in seven outings but form has taken a nosedive the last twice 14. MARINA PALACE - Placed three times from eleven outings but on all numbers looks an outsider now 15. POTIOKA - A little bit better in last two runs of six and basically has it all to do (2) DAIMYO is taken to score in this ultra competitive nursery. The son of Holy Roman Emperor who is trained by Pantall and steered by Barzalona fairly bolted up at Chantilly last time and can follow up now despite the lofty rise in the ratings.
(6) SO SORA can make it a good forecast. (1) MISTER FIVE EUROS and (3) ZANZI WIN have good claims. Selections (2) DAIMYO - (6) SO SORA - (1) MISTER FIVE EUROS - (3) ZANZI WIN
Race 8 1. EL VALLE - This former dual winner simply cannot be fancied on recent form 2. SILENT ROMANCE - Is still a maiden after fourteen runs and easy to look elsewhere 3. RENOUNCE - Won at Maisons-Laffitte in September and not a bad effort last time either 4. HORS FORFAIT - Made it career win number three at La Croise-Laroche earlier this month 5. SPUNKY HEART - Still a maiden after fourteen but was runner up at Maisons- Laffitte two goes back 6. XENOPHANES - Four time winner from fifty nine and in very good placed form lately 7. NIMO - Thrice a winner from twenty seven and did run a bit better last time but needed to 8. CHICAGO BERE - Won at Chantilly earlier in the season and ran very well back there of late 9. AGNES CHAMP - Eleven time winning veteran from a multitude of runs and best days probably behind at this stage 10. RHYTHM OF LIFE - Has won a dozen times from ninety and does need looking at again 11. RUBY WEDDING - She is a five time winner from sixty nine and always puts up a good performance 12. SUN SEA BIRD - Made it win number ten last time out at Maisons-Laffitte from a very busy career so bang in form 13. KLONDIKER - Dual winner from twenty one including last time out at Maisons-Laffitte so has a shout 14. PASSIOR - Former six time winner but latest efforts are really quiet poor to say the least 15. TOUCH OF REAL - Dual winner from thirty three but has had a very busy campaign and others may be fresher 16. DOBBY FIRST - Just the one win from twenty three but did come back to form last time at Amiens when second Many of these are in excellent fettle coming into this so it will be hard to work out.
(8) CHICAGO BERE probably has as good a chance of any coming off two very good runs at Chantilly in October. He will face very stiff opposition from (7) NIMO and (3) RENOUNCE. Neither of those would be a surprise winner. (13) KLONDIKER and (6) XENOPHANES must be respected too. Selections (8) CHICAGO BERE - (7) NIMO - (3) RENOUNCE - (13) KLONDIKER - (6) XENOPHANES
VINCENNES - 16th November Trainer of the day : Jean-Michel Bazire (211, 416, 604) Driver of the day : Jean-Michel Bazire (211, 416, 604, 812) Horse of the day : Evrik de Guez (211) Dark Horse : Casimir de Survie (809) Race 1 1. CASTING DE L'AUMOY - Moderate type that sprang something of a surprise at Enghien last time but is unlikely to confirm 2. CONDOR DE L'AULNE - Boasts an exceptional record in this branch of the business and should be able to make up for some poor recent form under harness 3. COPERNIC DE PLAY - Made good progress under harness here ten days ago and if applied should give a respectable account on just his second ridden start 4. CENORA - Delicate but has nothing to prove at this level and with application could well pull this off 5. CALE DES MALBERAUX - Has got back in the game since returning to racing barefoot. Flew up at Graignes last time and will legitimately generate some interest 6. CAPORAL DE BRY - Enjoyed a fruitful winter meeting but a complete write-off since and not a contender 7. CELUI DES ROMAINS - Highly productive last year but has struggled to recapture form and can be passed over 8. COFFEE D'OSTAL - Particularly impressive in last two at the venue and latterly over the distance and should be able to impose this time 9. CORANIE LEBEL - Has references at this level but plagued by stride problems and will not be easy to trust 10. CHIMENE SPEED - Regularly in the thick of things. Fifth to Coffee D'Ostal here last week and should again acquit herself competitively 11. CAPTAIN SPARROW - Seldom seen in this discipline but left a good impression under harness at Caen last time and if form transitions he should be good enough to pick up some money
After two fine efforts at Vincennes in recent weeks (8) COFFEE D'OSTAL looks to have the measure of most here. (4) CENORA is capable of giving her something to consider but must keep her action together. (10) CHIMENE SPEED regularly puts her heart into the game and after a close fifth to the favourite here last week must be respected. (11) CAPTAIN SPARROW is seldom seen under the saddle but after his fine performance under harness at Caen should be good enough to finish in the mix. Selections (8) COFFEE D'OSTAL - (4) CENORA - (10) CHIMENE SPEED - (11) CAPTAIN SPARROW
Race 2 1. EANDEL SMILING - Has made good progress over the past 2.5 months. Came a close second to Evrik De Guez here late last month and on similar form should not be far off the mark 2. ESPOIR ELEVEN - Modest individual that has yet to finish in the frame under harness. Surprise fourth here last week but a repeat unlikely 3. EMPIRE STATE - Moderate colt that is confirmed under these conditions but has looked ordinary since the break and others preferred 4. EARLY SOMOLLI - Consistently rewarding since his July debut. Beat his personal best when second here two weeks ago and expected to make another big impact 5. ELU D'OCCAGNES - Climbing the class ladder in good order and although third at Le Croise Laroche recently will still have more to find 6. EOLE D'ERPE - Has begun to make up for lost time but can nonetheless expect to find this a stiff test 7. EQUINOXE JIEL - Not easy to handle but hard to knock when applied and on good behaviour will have his chance 8. ESPRIT DES BAUX - Has hardly set a foot wrong all season. Finished a close second to Eclair Des Calendes here on penultimate start but will struggle to finish in the money this time around 9. EZALYO SMART - Respectable under harness but better in ridden competition and can be ruled out 10. EMILIANO ZAPATA - Classy colt that has won every race he has finished. Should be ideally suited to the outer course here and expected to figure prominently 11. EVRIK DE GUEZ - Winner of four from six to date. Won impressively over the short course here late October and every chance of repeating 12. ESPOIR FOU - A model of consistency until failing to fire at Enghien last month. Is confirmed at Vincennes though and should be able to redeem himself 13. ECLAIR DE CALENDES - Useful type that got off the mark here late September and although in better company should still acquit himself competitively 14. EKIANGO DE NILE - Still a maiden from 20 but not entirely devoid of ability. Better on flatter surfaces though and not a priority 15. EXOTIC CHARM - Displayed considerable ability during the spring with four straight successes. Sanctioned on comeback last month but on good behaviour can play an important role
The talented (11) EVRIK DE GUEZ flew up over the short course on Vincennes debut late last month and on similar form may just have the edge over (10) EMILIANO ZAPATA who has yet to be beaten in the four races he has finished to date and who looks the sort who should appreciate the outer course. (4) EARLY SOMOLLI has not once finished out of the first two in six career starts and the nature of his recent performance on the inner track bodes well for his chances. After being sanctioned on comeback last month (15) EXOTIC CHARM returns to Vincennes with a legitimate chance of finishing in the frame. Selections (11) EVRIK DE GUEZ - (10) EMILIANO ZAPATA - (4) EARLY SOMOLLI - (15) EXOTIC CHARM
Race 3 1. ETOILE D'UN SOIR - Sanctioned on both racecourse appearances to date and can expect to generate very little interest 2. ELZA DU CHEVREL - Made no impact on ridden debut here last week and is not about to spring a surprise 3. ETOILE DE MAJULE - Has demonstrated very little talent for either code and can be confidently disregarded 4. ENORA DE PIENCOURT - Has raced respectably so far under the saddle. Fell foul of the stewards at Graignes last time but if behaved could pick up a small stake 5. EUPHORIE DU GARDEN - Yet to show any particular bent for this discipline and can be ruled out 6. EUREKA DU VIVIER - Not easy to handle but seldom disappoints when applied. First appearance at Vincennes and can expect to find this a stiff test 7. EURASIA STAR - Respectable type under harness and if as faithful under the saddle should get a look in 8. EVALA DES FORETS - Regularly in the thick of things. Missed the start at Enghien last time but still put on a good show and can legitimately expect to garner support 9. ERAGONNE MAYBE - Promising filly that has not been at her sharpest since the break but drops back in class and can play a leading role this time 10. ETINCELANTE OHEM - Has taken particularly well to her new vocation. Beat Evala Des Forets at Enghien before being sent for a spell and looks a player on her first ridden start at Vincennes 11. EMMY JOYEUSE - Regularly indisciplined but often finishes in the money when applied. Left a good impression in a Class C last time at Vincennes and will have her supporters (9) ERAGONNE MAYBE has demonstrated good aptitude for this code and is behind in earnings. After two comeback races she drops back in class and could well open her account. (10) ETINCELANTE OHEM however has looked a serious ridden type and after two consecutive wins under the saddle could yet pick up a third. (11) EMMY JOYEUSE is not the easiest to handle but left a good impression on ridden debut and if applied can make the first three. (7) EURASIA STAR has yet to be seen in this discipline but she has references under harness and must be worth consideration.
Selections (9) ERAGONNE MAYBE - (10) ETINCELANTE OHEM - (11) EMMY JOYEUSE - (7) EURASIA STAR
Race 4 1. DYNA D'ERPION - Talented but not the easiest to handle. Sanctioned in three of her last four but still worth keeping an eye on 2. DIVINE AVENTURE - Winner of three from six when starting behind the car. Well-positioned in front and should figure prominently 3. DANAE QUESNOT - Benefits from a plum spot on the front line but has been off the boil for some time and can be ruled out 4. DONA NINA - Can prove tricky but otherwise very rewarding. Unlucky at La Capelle but has a good record over course and distance and is ideally placed to win this 5. DAME DENFERT - Rarely lets the side down when unshod but has done little of note at Vincennes for some time and chances limited 6. DUBAI D'ESSARTS - Barring the occasional blip is very hard to fault. Scored with ease at Enghien last time and with shoes off here can play an important role 7. DIANE D'HOULBEC - Returned to winning ways at Enghien last time out but is no great fan of the Vincennes outer course and can be passed over 8. DOUCHKA TURGOT - Has made no impact in either code since her return to competition and even going unshod in front still has a lot to find 9. DALABAMA - Sanctioned more often than not but reassured when winning in style over the inner track late October and if applied can make her presence felt despite the wide draw 10. DOLGA DU POMMEREUX - Not the most reliable of horses but with Nivard in the wagon she can expect more support this time around 11. DWELLING HEIGHTS - Moderate type that recently finished a good second to Diane D'Houlbec at Enghien but appears to have little chance this time 12. DEESSE DU PLESSIS - Has looked rather ordinary so far this year. Seldom impresses in autostart events and not a priority 13. DISCOVA - Nice filly that was sanctioned when sent off favourite recently under similar conditions. Has a tough draw but if behaved should acquit herself competitively 14. DASCALIA - Regularly gives a good account under these conditions. Has little room for manoeuvre but can still trot in for a small stake 15. DONNA DE KARMEL - Found her way again at Le Croise-Laroche last month when barefoot for the first time. Same formula here but a stiff ask all the same 16. DARLING BERRY - Well-regarded filly that recently reassured under the saddle and although drawn wide on the second line is barefoot this time and with
a good trip could well impose 17. DAISY MAISY - Considerably better sort in the other discipline and no chance on first start for six months 18. DANSEUSE DU CITRUS - Seldom disappoints when applied but has a bad draw here and others preferred this time around On paper (16) DARLING BERRY may not look an obvious choice but she recently reassured under the saddle here and with shoes off could well overcome the tough draw. (4) DONA NINA on the other hand is ideally placed in front and given her recent effort over course and distance can legitimately expect to play a leading role. (6) DUBAI D'ESSARTS has been a model of consistency and going barefoot can only enhance her already good prospects. While not currently at the top of her game (2) DIVINE AVENTURE has a good number behind the car and can redeem herself. (9) DALABAMA starts wide on the first line but a repeat of her latest effort should see her in the mix at the finish. Selections (16) DARLING BERRY - (4) DONA NINA - (6) DUBAI D'ESSARTS - (2) DIVINE AVENTURE - (9) DALABAMA
Race 5 1. DOLCE VITA DE LOU - Tricky sort that quickly lost all chance on debut here last Monday. Twice a winner going left-handed this year and backs up with a reasonable chance of making the first five 2. DUCHESSE DE SARTHE - Lightly-raced filly that made a solid return to competition mid-october. Finished second last time over course and distance and should again give a good account 3. DEESSE DE FOOT - Regularly acquits herself well when applied. Has placed just once from five at Vincennes but on current form should not be overlooked 4. DIVA DU CAMPDOS - Not the most productive under harness. First ridden outing and unlikely to shake things up 5. DRYADE DU GOUTIER - Very hard to fault when racing unshod in front. Has better references going right-handed but should nonetheless acquit herself competitively 6. DJYOTI DU PATURAL - Useful on a good day but was well beaten here late October and will need to find more 7. DELPHES D'ARIANE - Very consistent in this branch of the game. Made her comeback under harness last month but is unshod behind for her return to the ridden code and must be respected 8. DUCHESSE DANICA - Modest filly that has placed just once from five in this discipline and is unlikely to influence the result 9. DIABLESSE DU LOGIS - Has finished no closer than fourth all year. Thrashed in a G.II last week and can be ruled out 10. DIVA MESLINOISE - Complicated but has ample talent. Makes her ridden debut and with stride in check could pleasantly surprise 11. DIVA FATALE - Handy trotter that gave a good account last time over course and distance and should be able to finish in the money provided she can maintain stride 12. DAISY THORIS - Respectable sort when applied. Pleased over shorter here last time and while not the easiest to trust can still make her presence felt 13. DOLESMIE MERITE - Delicate sort but seldom disappoints when applied. Is confirmed at the venue and returns to her code of preference with legitimate ambition (5) DRYADE DU GOUTIER has been in fine shape of late with two wins in her last four. With front shoes off again she looks the horse to beat. (2) DUCHESSE
DE SARTHE acquits herself competitively for the most part and is confirmed over course and distance. (7) DELPHES D'ARIANE has a similar profile and even with shoes on can still make the first three. (12) DAISY THORIS got back in the game beating her personal best over the short course here late October and can also expect to generate some interest. Selections (5) DRYADE DU GOUTIER - (2) DUCHESSE DE SARTHE - (7) DELPHES D'ARIANE - (12) DAISY THORIS
Race 6 1. DJANGO DES CHARMES - Colt with an enviable strike rate. Winner of two of his last three and from the inside line should be able to make the first five 2. DEXTER DES BAUX - Fine sort that recently beat his personal best when winning over longer here and should again figure prominently 3. DANSEUR DU HOULBET - Trotter with considerable talent. Very effective over the shorter trips and going barefoot can only enhance his prospects 4. DREAM CASH - Tough type that has already imposed in a Class A. Surprisingly below-par at Laval two weeks ago but should make amends 5. DEXTER CHATHO - Best four year-old in the Bigeon stable. Should be fully fit by now and with hind shoes off for the first time should be able to impose from the five-spot 6. DON WILLIAMS - Has ample ability but has done nothing noteworthy this year and can be confidently disregarded 7. DANSEUR SOMOLLI - Delicate but not devoid of ability. Currently in fine shape but races shod this time and others preferred 8. DAAN VELOCE - Has looked very ordinary so far this year and appears to have no chance 9. DJANGO DE MONGOCHY - Not once out of the first four when barefoot. Same formula here and despite the draw will have his supporters 10. DISCO DARLING - Delicate but not short of ability. No great fan of the outer course though and chances limited 11. DELANO - Kicked the season off nicely but has since lost his way and must reaffirm 12. DUCK DRYME - Currently enjoying a productive run of form. Won smartly over longer at Argentan earlier in the month and although racing shod can still make his presence felt 13. DIALETTO - Not the most rewarding of horses and will need to improve on recent Argentan effort 14. DONATO PIERJI - Hardy sort but can prove a handful. If applied though he should able to finish in the mix 15. DOLLAR SOYER - Capable on a good day but not the most reliable. Is proven over longer here but still not an obvious choice 16. DEFI CALENDES - Winner over the distance on the inner track last month but stays shod this time and others preferred 17. DANDY SOMOLLI - Moderate colt that has not been seen out for over three
months and will need the race 18. DREAM GOLD - Useful type that recently gave a good account in the provinces but has little going for him here and can be ruled out After two pleasant comeback runs Christian Bigeon's talented (5) DEXTER CHATHO unshod behind for the first time and has an ideal spot from which he can launch his winter campaign. He can still expect opposition from (2) DEXTER DES BAUX who had no trouble imposing on the inner track last time out, and the hardy (4) DREAM CASH who should logically bounce back from his recent Laval clinker. (3) DANSEUR DU HOULBET began to get back on track at Caen last time and the change in shoeing should work to his advantage. (1) DJANGO DES CHARMES may have the inside line but in current form should be good enough to make the first five. Selections (5) DEXTER CHATHO - (2) DEXTER DES BAUX - (4) DREAM CASH - (3) DANSEUR DU HOULBET - (1) DJANGO DES CHARMES
Race 7 1. CORAMES - Boasts an enviable record under the saddle. Has nothing to prove at this level and on present form will have a lot to give 2. BILLY DE LA CALADE - Handy type when applied but has just one race in him and unlikely to be at peak fitness 3. CHIRICAHUA - Acquits herself competitively for the most part. Fourth to Caduceus Des Baux at Laval but still needs to raise her game 4. CADUCEUS DES BAUX - Has looked a different horse since switching codes. Finished a good runner-up to Traders in September and most recently won a competitive Class A at Laval and can well confirm here 5. AVENTURIER CEHERE - Useful trotter but has not been seen out since July and will need the race 6. BEGUM FROMENTRO - Yet to recapture last year's form but has won two G.II events over course and distance and with shoes off this time can get back down to business 7. RADIEUX - Only once out of the picture from five under the saddle but at this level will have his work cut out 8. ULTRA OR - Pleased on comeback here last week but appears to have bitten off more than he can chew this time 9. CANDOR HALL - Classy Swedish import that has yet to be beaten in this discipline and makes his French debut with a realistic chance of going close 10. CELINA POLKA - Group horse that rarely disappoints when unshod. Runnerup to Caduceus Des Baux at Laval recently and should give another respectable account 11. CASSATE - Exceptional this year under the saddle. Won the G.I Prix de Normandie last time out and although unraced for two months can maintain his dynamic form 12. VINCI PIERJI - Has got back in the game over recent months and although having won a Class B at Caen last month will still need to find more 13. VA TRES BIEN - Yet to show any great aptitude for the ridden code and can be passed over 14. BE MINE DE HOUELLE - Moderate sort from a stable in good form but will struggle to leave her mark 15. AMERICAINE - Has failed to make the frame all season and can be confidently ruled out 16. VOLCAN DE BELLANDE - Undeniably capable but faces a tough bunch here and unlikely to influence the outcome
17. VOLCAN D'OCCAGNES - Has made no impression in either code for the past 11 months and is not about to buck the trend 18. BAHIA QUESNOT - Good class of horse but has placed just once from three in this code and a minor place chance at best 19. VELOCE DU BANNEY - Tough individual that made a fine comeback over shorter here ten days ago but the extra 25m does him no favours A brilliant runner-up to Traders in the G.III Prix Alfred Lefevre on his return to the ridden code two months ago (4) CADUCEUS DES BAUX subsequently confirmed with ease at Laval and may yet have the measure of G.I Prix de Normandie winner (11) CASSATE who has not been seen out since September. Smart Swedish sort (9) CANDOR HALL has yet to be beaten in ridden competition and if he gets the trip should make a big impact. Going barefoot for the occasion (6) BEGUM FROMENTRO can make amends but Levesque will need to keep one eye on (1) CORAMES who recently won in style over the short course here. Selections (4) CADUCEUS DES BAUX - (11) CASSATE - (9) CANDOR HALL - (6) BEGUM FROMENTRO - (1) CORAMES
Race 8 1. CHARLY DE L'AUNAY - Won with ease at Enghien late last month when barefoot for the first time. Same formula here and although in better company should not be underestimated 2. CLYDE DE LA ROCHE - Handy type that has raced little this year. Just one race in him so far this term and unlikely to shake things up 3. CYRIEL D'ATOM - Back in form following a pair of blips. Would have picked up a cheque here ten days ago had he not faulted and with Eric Raffin in charge this time should make amends 4. CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - Moderate individual that recently made his autumn return and appears to need another outing 5. CAPITAL CHARM - Useful when applied but has won just once from 13 starts at the venue and will need to show a different side to himself 6. CLEVER LYMM - Faithful campaigner that has two races under his belt since the break and can be expected to give this a good go 7. CHILKOOT TRAIL - Gives a good account for the most part but only fifth to Cleangame at Caen last time and will need to find more 8. CANDIDAT D'ORTIGE - Highly consistent for the most part. Unplaced in the Criterium des 5 Ans but still acquitted himself honourably. Comes here fresh and will have his supporters 9. CASIMIR DE SURVIE - Not once out of the first two in last six starts. Finished runner-up to Cleangame at Caen before missing out by little at Argentan and should again finish in the mix 10. CLEANGAME - Fine sort with an enviable strike rate. Won a Class A with brio on comeback last month and is eminently capable of repeating 11. CASH MAKER - Very good sort when barefoot. Will be fully fit by now and with shoes off for the occasion can make a big impact 12. CARLO DE CARSI - Serious trotter that rarely disappoints when he can keep his action together. Won a Class A in style at Nantes on Sunday and with Bazire back at the helm could pull off the double The classy (10) CLEANGAME was nothing short of impressive when winning on comeback at Caen last month. While he looks the leading candidate he can nonetheless expect to encounter resistance from the fully-fit (11) CASH MAKER who goes barefoot for the first time this season, and (12) CARLO DE CARSI who wiped the floor with the opposition when winning a Class A at Nantes on Sunday. The in-form (3) CYRIEL D'ATOM was unlucky over course and distance ten days
ago but will have Eric Raffin in the sulky this time which could make all the difference. Selections (10) CLEANGAME - (11) CASH MAKER - (12) CARLO DE CARSI - (3) CYRIEL D'ATOM
REIMS - 16th November Trainer of the day : Romain Derieux (209, 205, 703, 702, 903) Driver of the day : Alain Laurent (116, 403) Horse of the day : Aria de Joudes (116) Dark Horse : Callixhe Dieschoot (805) Race 1 1. AMIRAL DE BEAULIEU - Won a small race on turf last July but has been in mixed form since then 2. ADIOS - Last good run is under the saddle and it was fourth months ago 3. AVRIL CADE - Won a small race at La Capelle last May but has been out of form since then 4. AMARDO - Enduring stride issues since the turn of the year but can pop-in if capable of keeping in stride 5. VELITE DU GOUTIER - Goes well when he can keep within the rules. Looks interesting off front row 6. AH LA STAR - Surprised when runner-up at 26/1 in a class E at Lyon last time. Unlikely to reproduce such feat 7. ALTESSE ECLATANTE - Has not recaptured last year's form yet and unlikely to trouble the judge 8. VENEZIA SOMOLLI - Has not done anything of note for the past twelve months and best to be watched 9. AMAZAR DE FLORANGE - Won only 1 from 59 thus and hard to see him change this figure today 10. UVIDUS - Well in contention when disqualified at Saint-Brieuc. Ideally entered on front row 11. VOSS RINGEAT - Has been in modest form all year and needs to show vast improvement 12. VENICIO BELLO - Capable sort on both codes and could get into the placings 13. VERY FIRST - Finished fourth in a Quinte last September at La Capelle and has claims on the back of this effort 14. ACTARUS DE CHAMBE - Ultra-consistent sort in the Province and should be respected in a race like this
15. VALTO - Won a class E over course and distance last September. In modest form since then 16. ARIA DE JOUDES - Easy winner on comeback race at Castera last month and can follow up (16) ARIA DE JOUDES scored with ease at Castera while returning from a spell. She will come on for the run and will take a power of beating. Course and distance winner (15) VALTO is in for redemption after a serie of modest runs and could be the surprise package in this race. It may be worth keeping eye on both (4) AMARDO and (5) VELITE DU GOUTIER who are the best prospects on the front row. Selections (16) ARIA DE JOUDES - (15) VALTO - (5) VELITE DU GOUTIER - (4) AMARDO - (13) VERY FIRST
Race 2 1. CAGNOTTE DU CEBE - Has been in fine form since last June and must be respected in this race 2. CONCERTO DES DUNES - Obvious lack of consistency but posted a solid effort on his last start over course and distance 3. CAP NORD - Hard fought win of a class E at Amiens ahead of Cagnotte du Cebe. Enters the equation 4. CHINA CHIPIE - Well beaten at Vincennes last time but previously ran well over course and distance. Can be in the mix 5. CARLA - Won a class E over course and distance one month ago. Has obvious claims 6. CANNELLE DE DABE - Has gone cold in las three starts and must show a totally different figure at present 7. CHENE DE LANDISACQ - Capable sort when he can keep within the rules. Can be given another chance 8. CLEONE DU GITE - Modest recent form and unlikely to pose a treat in a race like this 9. CORNALINE D'ORIENT - A close second to Carla over course and distance one month ago. Can reverse form whith his rival 10. CYBELE DE GODREL - Not without ability but lacks consistency and last two starts do very little to inspire confidence 11. CANNONBALL - Well held last two times out in this class of event and needs to show vast improvement 12. CALBA DU PONT - Never finishes far from the action but needs to up her game to win 13. COCKTAIL DESBOIS - Not the best of run last time at Rouen. Generally runs well whithout shoes 14. CRONOS DES MONTILS - Has made significant progress since last spring and should be closely involved at the finish Judged on the way he scored at Cabourg on 20 September (7) CHENE DE LANDISACQ looks hard to oppose, however he disappointed in three subsequent starts and has a bit to prove now. In case the selection runs belowpar once again, the very consistent (14) CRONOS DES MONTILS is a viable option. He caught the eye in the closing stages at Cabourg and has yet to reach
his full potential Selections (7) CHENE DE LANDISACQ - (14) CRONOS DES MONTILS - (9) CORNALINE D'ORIENT - (5) CARLA
Race 3 1. DELLA DU VIEUXCOUR - Never won a race from 37 starts and hard to see her go off the mark here 2. DUC DU BOUFARD - Still a maiden from 28 starts and will find it hard to break his duck 3. DERBY DJOB - Has shown capabilities on both codes but remains erratic and others are preferred 4. DINERA DE HOUELLE - Showed better intentions in last run at Lisieux and can spoil with further progress 5. DUCHESSE DU DOME - Tends to go well when not disqualified and looks to have every chance in a race like this 6. DAUPHINE DE CLECY - Not sighted on both starts back from a spell. Has too much to find 7. DREHA DE VANDEL - Ridden races specialist who has been struggling for most of the year 8. DARBY KALOUMA - Talented gelding who is mentally-fragile. Solid last effort at Strasbourg. Hard to rule out 9. DAGUERRE D'ARCY - Has not raced since June and although not devoid of ability, might need the run 10. DELICIOUS GIRL - Has shown better figures since September and looks a viable option if capable of keeping her stride 11. DESTINEE DE CONDE - Capable filly in the Province and must be considered as a sound place prospect 12. DOMINGO D'ELA - Disqualified soon after the start at Amiens. Had previously shown ability 13. DAISY DE LA FOLIE - Has gone out of form since September and has too much to find at present 14. DANTE TURGOT - Solid winning effort in a class F at La Rochelle twelve days ago and should be on the shortlist (12) DOMINGO D'ELA was prompt to show ability earlier this season and his last disqualification takes nothing from him. He is the choice to return in the winners enclosure and will lead the charge ahead of (10) DELICIOUS GIRL who was unlucky in the running at Nantes. (5) DUCHESSE DU DOME and (8) DARBY KALOUMA are two more for the shortlist.
Selections (12) DOMINGO D'ELA - (10) DELICIOUS GIRL - (5) DUCHESSE DU DOME - (8) DARBY KALOUMA
Race 4 1. DOLLAR WILLIAMS - Off the mark at Cagnes last July. Two poor efforts since then 2. DUCHESSE NORMANDE - Never finishes far from the action but needs to make progress to win 3. DARLING DES VIGNES - Won three in a row last summer. Two modest runs over course and distance thus far 4. DARIO DE LA BESVRE - Hard to make a case on paper and easily passed over in a race like this 5. DAVINA SYGA - Won over course and distance on 1 October. Subsequent runner-up in a valuable contest at Le Croise 6. DORLANDO DE COUDE - Registered a third career success at Saint-Galmier 6 days ago. Things look tougher today 7. DOMINO DE LA BRISE - Never won a race from 24 starts to date and best to pass over 8. DEAR WINNER - Well held in all four starts since the new year. Cannot be worth much consideration 9. DEMON DE LA BESVRE - Useful sort but somehow limited and unlikely to pose a treat 10. DIANE DU MOUCHEL - Filly that has shown consistency in the Province and should be considered as a viable place prospect 11. DIVINE DU SKY - Has shown good recent form and cannot be excluded of the equation 12. DENOR VEETA - Went off the mark at Vichy at the end of September but subsequently posted two modest efforts 13. DIDJI BOY - Needs to make progress on what he has shown in recent starts. Others are preferred 14. DREAMS ARE FAKE - Has been totally transformed since running barefoot. On a hat trick. Leading chance (14) DREAMS ARE FAKE has been flyig high since racing without shoes and there are many reasons to believe he can record a third success in a row but (5) DAVINA SYGA registered a very good chrono when second at Le Croise-Laroche and she could be the answer in this interesting contest. (3) DARLING DES VIGNES has not run for two months but comes a from a trainer who can ready
one on comeback. Selections (5) DAVINA SYGA - (14) DREAMS ARE FAKE - (3) DARLING DES VIGNES - (10) DIANE DU MOUCHEL
Race 5 1. ERASME WILLIAMS - Made promising debut over course and distance last October. Disappointed last twice 2. EL AMOR DE KA - Disappointed on both starts back from a spell and has a bit to do 3. EVORINO D'ERIQUE - A close second over course and distance in a class F a fortnight ago. Enters the equation 4. ECLAIR MYSTIQUE - Not devoid of ability but remains erratic and others can be preferred 5. ECLAIR DE FOURCHES - Showed significant progress at Amiens last time out but still has a few lengths to find 6. EROS DE GODREL - Off the mark on turf last August but has gone cold in three subsequent starts 7. ELIO PIERJI - Off the mark on turf last August. Disqualified twice since then and best to watch 8. EFURIAC - Has shown early promises but faces a tough assignment in today's class of event 9. EL SORO - Off the mark over course and distance last May. Should come on from last run and has claims 10. EMILIO MAZA - Has been generally consistent and although this looks tougher, cannot be excluded of the equation 11. EASY NEW D'YVI - Narrowly headed in a class D at Vincennes last winter. Is said to be ready 12. EOLE D'ORVAL - Improving with the runs. Still unexposed and definitely one to have on the shortlist 13. EVERLASTING LOVE - Scored at Bordeaux first time out last March but has not live-up to expectations since then 14. ECLAIR DE BABEL - Looked promising on both sand and turf last summer. Disqualified last twice. Well-entered Trainer Sebastien Guarato knows how to get one ready off a break and this is the reason why it may worth going the way of (11) EASY NEW D'YVI who has shown big promises at Vincennes last winter when running well in defeat in a good race, after a successful debut race at Nantes.(1) ERASME WILLIAMS has the advantge of having run well over course and distance and should leave behind
his last two below-par efforts. Selections (11) EASY NEW D'YVI - (1) ERASME WILLIAMS - (14) ECLAIR DE BABEL - (12) EOLE D'ORVAL
Race 6 1. ETOILE DU MEXIQUE - Looks capable when in the right mood. Did not go unnoticed after early disqualification at Amiens 2. ELLA DES MOYEUX - Off the mark in a small race at Laon last July. Has generally been struggling since then 3. ELECTION COQUINE - Displayed a couple of sound efforts over the summer but has shown poor recent form 4. ETOILE DE SIA - Has shown ability when she managed to keep in stride. Steps up in grade with claims 5. EDINA DES BAUX - A close fourth in an identical race at Amiens latest. Topdriver in commands 6. EGERIE IMPERIALE - Has shown early promises last spring but off since July and may need the run 7. ESTRELLA JYL - Won easier than distance shows at Vire. Well-regarded by connections 8. ETOILE DE BEAUVOIS - Eighteen races so far and still a maiden. Poor recent form and best to watch 9. EROTIQUE DU FOSSE - Seems to be on the rise at present and has to be closely monitored 10. ELOANNE - Has come to terms with herself at present and must have plenty more to offer 11. ELOISE DES CHARMES - Has demonstrated plenty of ability on turf last summer. Big expectations on comeback run 12. ESTHER DU GANEP - Not without capabilities but ran below-par last two times out and needs to show vast improvement 13. ELITE OF FAIRY - Three good runs thus far. Off since 12 September but should not be underrated 14. ELEE DE TEDD - One podium from 13 starts this season and best to be passed over (13) ELITE OF FAIRY has shown early promises on the Riviera last summer over shorter trips. She gets the nod to make a winning return to action on her first attempt over this distance. (11) ELOISE DES CHARMES has also been sidelined for a while She registered a couple of decent efforts on turf earlier in the season and looks a danger if capable of transferring this form to sand.
Selections (13) ELITE OF FAIRY - (11) ELOISE DES CHARMES - (10) ELOANNE - (1) ETOILE DU MEXIQUE
Race 7 1. FATAL GWEN - Beautifully bred newcomer from top-yard and has to be hugely respected 2. FIRST DAIDOU - Displayed a nice effort after early disqualification on debut race at Amiens. Must be given another chance 3. FLANDRE - Well-backed ( 4,7/1) when disqualified on debut at La Capelle one month ago. Betting will guide 4. FROMENTIN - Down the field on debut race here a fortnight ago. Jumped off at 2,8/1 on this occasion 5. FILS DE STAR - Made promising debut at Le Croise-Laroche at the end of last month. Will come on for the run 6. FOXY GIRL - Ran well in defeat on debut at Saint-Galmier a fortnight ago. Should be in the mix 7. FLOCON DE NOEL - Made promising debut at La Capelle last August but lost his stride in three subsequent starts 8. FIDJI DES THUYAS - Much improved last run over course and distance. Should be respected 9. FLICKA JIEL - Two good runs in Eastern France thus far. Respect although things look tougher today 10. FIORENZA DE BUSSET - A distant fourth of 11 at 40/1 in a class C at Enghien. Could be worth considering 11. FILEAS DU HAINAUT - Made winning debut at Strasbourg eleven days ago but clocked a slow chrono of 1'23'00 on this occasion 12. FOKINO VEDAQUAIS - Made winning debut at Bernay at the end of August but subsequently well beaten in a class D at Vincennes. First start for new yard Out of champion mare The Lovely Gwen and by top-stallion Cocktail jet, (1) FATAL GWEN makes a lot of appeal on paper. He is the only newcomer in the race and french betting will be a good guide. Romain Derieux has always held in high esteem both (3) FLANDRE and (2) FIRST DAIDOU and they should be given the benefit of the doubt after failing to keep in stride on debut race. Selections (1) FATAL GWEN - (3) FLANDRE - (2) FIRST DAIDOU - (4) FROMENTIN
