BELLCANTO - Has gone up 8 Kg after winning his last two races outclassing rivals on the turf at Fontainebleau and a comfortable success at Lyon La Soie in November. First start of the season today 3. GAMGOOM - The flying German has eleven wins from forty career starts. Will be taken on here in this big field and was well beaten in a Class D handicap here last month 4. ROSS CASTLE - Was in good form this year and won well in a Class D

2 handicap here last month before disappointing under a 3.5 Kg penalty at ParisLongchamp last time out. Tough task today 5. LEHAIM - Made it win number three on final start last season and finished in the also ran's amongst some of these on his two starts so far this year. Plenty to do here 6. HATARI - Last of eight career wins was at Cagnes-sur-Mer in February but two questionable efforts after that before a good fifth to Ross Castle in a Class D handicap here last month 7. BAY OF BISCAINE - Lightly raced German invader with two wins from fourteen starts and finished third behind Ross Castle in a Class D handicap here last month. Unexposed and could go well at big price here 8. DARK ORBIT - Well beaten thirteenth of seventeen here behind Ross Castle in a Class D handicap last month. On a fair mark at the moment but needs to improve on recent form 9. SHOT IN THE DARK - Both career wins gained at Fontainebleau in Placed three times last Summer but unplaced on his reappearance at Lyon Parilly last month and faces a stiff test here 10. DIAMANT DE VATI - Regular earner in sprints on the fibresand. Runner up in conditions races at Chantilly and on the turf at ParisLongchamp last month and is respected here today 11. COCO CITY - Boasts solid placed handicap form over varying sprint trips and finished fourth behind Ross Castle here last time out. Likely to get closer again here today 12. BASSE REINE - Dual winner from seventeen career runs and was fourth behind Lehaim in a Class E race at Lyon La Soie last time out in November. Might find a few too good today 13. NEVER COMPROMISE - Four time winner from twenty three and was on a hat trick after scoring in two claimers before finishing sixth to Ross Castle here last month. Could run well today 14. OROMO - Great strike rate with a dozen wins from fifty nine starts but well beaten in a Class D handicap here last time out and looks a big outsider today 15. ORANGEFIELD - Second of seventeen here behind Creach Light in a Class E handicap last month. Consistent in Quinte handicaps over the last year and not without a chance today 16. SOHO UNIVERSE - Decent run in a Class E handicap at Chantilly in March before second to Better On Sunday in a Class G claimer at Nantes last month. This is a much stiffer test today

He gets the vote to record his seventh career success today. (6) HATARI was a Quinte winner here last year ran well here last month and can get close again today. GOLDEN SPIRIT - A fair effort on her debut at ParisLongchamp last month but faces a tough test here today 3. TUTTI - Well beaten last of twelve in a maiden here last month. Hard to recommend 4. BLUE VALLEY - Disappointing on her debut at Saint-Cloud last month but likely to improve. Not ruled out 5. GWERRANN - Unplaced on her debut in a newcomers race at Chantilly last September. Stiff test here 6. LEYTANA - Runner up on her debut at Baden Baden but last of six in a Listed race at Cologne last time out in September 7. TELEPATHY - Caught the eye in both of her starts at Chantilly last year. Place prospects here today 8. XAGERE - A promising debut when runner up behind Zarkamiya at ParisLongchamp last month. One for the short list 9. DIORESSE - Finished sixth on both her starts at Munich last year and a decent fourth at Chantilly last month 10. KUMARI - Well beaten sixth of seven in a maiden at Fontainebleau in March. Needs to improve from that 11. HALLUCINANTE - A close second behind Galouska on her debut at Saint- Cloud last month. Can have a say here 12. MONDAY'S CHILD - By New Approach and will be the second foal to run out of a dam that was unraced 13. HONEY PIE - By Penny's Picnic and is the first foal to run out of a dam that was a maiden after seven starts 14. LERATO - By Henrythenavigator and is the first foal to run out of a dam that won five from sixteen A half sister to Xcellence who was a Group Three winner here (8) XAGERE made an eye catching debut when runner up behind Zarkamiya at ParisLongchamp last month. She can break her maiden tag here today. (4) BLUE VALLEY was disappointing on her debut last month but is likely to improve and cannot be ruled out. (11) HALLUCINANTE and (12) MONDAY'S CHILD can

Up in class today 3. FASTIDIOUS - Opened 2018 account at Cagnes-sur-Mer in February but might find a few too good here 4. BEAU IDEAL - Won a Listed race at Chantilly last time out in October. Could run in to a place 5. ALISTAIR - Just touched off by Sands Of Mali in a Group Three race at Chantilly last month. Can be in the mix 6. FORZA CAPITANO - Fourth behind Sands Of Mali in a Group Three race at Chantilly last month 7. CORINTHIA KNIGHT - Has won all four of his runs this year including a Listed race at Chantilly in February. Consider 8. KEN COLT - Well beaten fifth in a Class 1 race at Chantilly in March and needs to improve on that 9. ARECIBO - Consistent three time winner from eleven starts but is upped in class here today 10. FOU RIRE - Talented filly with useful form but well beaten in both her runs so far this year 11. ABSOLUTE CITY - Third behind Sands Of Mali in a Group Three race at Chantilly last month. In with a shout (7) CORINTHIA KNIGHT has won all four of his starts so far this year on the sand including a Listed race at Chantilly in March. All seven career wins have been on fibresand but he gets the vote ahead of (1) RIMINI who was a Group Three winner last year and will improve from his comeback run last month. ALMUSHREF - Fourth behind Indeed on his debut at ParisLongchamp last month and is respected today 3. ORBAAN - Runner up behind Indeed on his debut at ParisLongchamp last month. Can go one better 4. HAUDRICOURT - Well beaten seventh of eleven on his debut at Chantilly in March. Needs to improve 5. VISORINO - Well beaten in both of his starts at Cagnes so needs to show improvement to figure 6. SHWEDAGON - Disappointing on debut at Lyon Parilly last month but can come on for the experience 7. DAMERON - Runner-up on debut at Deauville last July but well beaten when upped in class in two runs after that 8. GIANTISSIME - Behind a couple of these when unplaced on his debut at ParisLongchamp last month 9. GOT AWAN - Fifth to Solitary Man in a maiden at Moulins last month but this is a tougher test 10. HORTZADAR - Third on debut at Saint-Cloud last month and again at Chantilly last time out. Respected 11. DAB OF SNOW - Well beaten eight of eleven behind Hourtin on his debut at Saint-Cloud last month The Fabre trained colt (3) ORBAAN made a promising debut when runner up behind Indeed in a newcomers race at ParisLongchamp last month. He had (2) ALMUSHREF behind in fourth place in that race and is the selection to confirm those placings today. (10) HORTZADAR has been placed in both starts and can do likewise today. 8 Race 5 1. KING OF SPADES - Three wins from thirty two and will have have a big say in the outcome of this 2. MATHIX - Ex British performer who ran well in third at Chantilly last time out 3. WOW - One win from eleven and has the required form to get involved in this 4. COPACETIC - Still a maiden after eleven and would be competitive if regaining form 5. GREEN CURRY - Has won two of his last four runs and has the assistance of the mercurial Soumillon 6. MARTINI GIN - Four wins from twenty four and might go well at a decent enough starting price 7. CARLTON CHOICE - Three wins from twenty eight and runner up last time out at Nantes. That was fair form 8. COOL - One win from eleven tries but record is not one of progression now. Needs to bounce back Christophe Soumillon is always worth his weight in gold so the fact that he takes the mount on (5) GREEN CURRY is significant. The gelding has won two of his last four and can be forgiven a below par effort last time out at Marseille-Vivaux. The favourite, (3) WOW, is ure to take the beating along with the other main fancy, (1) KING OF SPADES. (7) CARLTON CHOICE can make a place too. 9 Race 6 1. DES ANNEES FOLLES - Four time winner from forty six and was runner up at Chantilly two goes back 2. SUREWECAN - Five wins from fifty six and might have an each way chance perhaps here 3. CAP ROCAT - One of four wins from thirty four came this season at Toulouse and might get a place 4. HEIR TO A THRONE - A former dual winner in Britain but may find the going a bit tough here 5. MAHARAD - Seven wins from forty eight and was a good third here last time out. Every hope 6. PREDETERMINED - Second career win was gained at Chantilly two goes back and ran well since too 7. ACHILLE DES AIGLES - Off the mark at Cagnes-sur-Mer in January but poor in three starts since 8. SVOUL - Just the one win from seventeen and has been very lightly campaigned in recent seasons 9. HEAVE HO - Made it win number four from forty four here last time out and bang in form 10. HIGH ONE - Only the sole success from twenty and must do better overall to get close here 11. NADEEM ALWARD - Thrice a winner from twenty three and comes into this in fine form so has a shout 12. KARYFANNY - One win from twenty five and a back to form third here last time out. Chance 13. KING DAVID - Has won a dozen times from multiple runs so exposed as anything today 14. XENOPHANES - Five wins from sixty five but below form here last time out so needs to bounce back (5) MAHARAD is the selection and there is some confidence behind the gelding following a good third place finish here last time out. He gave every indication that his turn is near and the price should be fine also. (1) DES ANNEES FOLLES should have plenty to offer too. (12) KARYFANNY and (6) PREDETERMINED are to be respected as well.

ALFIERI - Eight wins from thirty nine and a third at Bourdeaux-Le-Bouscat last time 3. VERTI CHOP - Last of three wins came at Marseille-Vivaux in March and can have a look in 4. ROMAN DE BRUT - Won five times previously in Britain and first try here. Best watched 5. ICEBERG - Four wins from nineteen including last time out at Chantilly. In form candidate 6. IRON SPIRIT - Half a dozen wins from fifty outings. Has achieved high ratings and must be favourite 7. ROMANTIC PUR - Four wins from twenty three. Has some nice form. Back from a short lay off 8. WAK'A - Four victories from twenty runs and has been runner up in last two tries 9. WESTERWALD - Both wins came last season and may have needed recent outing for sharpness 10. SEEWOLF - Ten wins and a fair sort in Germany. Could have an outside chance at a price The one that has to be the pick here is (6) IRON SPIRIT who carries a big rating into the race and it is justified too. Even after what looked like a slightly below par effort last time has now looked better on reflection. The price may be on the short side though. The German performer (10) SEEWOLF could go well at a big price. (3) VERTI CHOP and (1) RED KITTEN have more obvious claims. GHOR - Eight wins from over a century of starts but will do well to add another today 3. SILENT ROMANCE - Still a maiden after fifteen runs but has run well on a number of occasions 4. MR CHUCKLES - Just the one win from thirty seven but is really a consistent sort in the main 5. LA PETITE NIECE - Only one fourth place finish from eight starts and that will not do to take this 6. RENOUNCE - Thrice a winner from fifty nine runs but last two efforts would not be the best 7. NIMO - Three wins from twenty nine starts but needs to jump up on recent form 8. TENORIO - Made it win number two at Le Croise-Laroche three starts back and has gone well since 9. SECRETJIM - Only the one victory from thirty one and seems to find trouble landing the second 10. RUBY WEDDING - Five wins from seventy five and was runner up last time out here so every chance 11. FLICKA'S BOY - Former dual winner in the UK but yet to set the world on fire since transferring countries 12. KLONDIKER - Dual winner from twenty eight but form seems to be in a bit of a stall right now 13. ZALKAYA - One victory from sixteen but both efforts this season are underwhelming 14. BEST LOVE ROYAL - Three wins from thirty six runs but has become rather hit and miss in reality (10) RUBY WEDDING has previously notched up five victories and came close here last time when running second over slightly further This trip should be spot on and the mare can confirm positions with (4) MR CHUCKLES from that meeting. BOXEUR D'OR - Showed signs of resurgence on turf last time out and is expected to confirm 2. CLEMENCE D'EM - One time winner from 47. Well beaten at Vincennes last time out and must show improvement 3. BROADWAY - On the upgrade curve and without front shoes today, can make his presence felt 4. BOREADY - Pleased in last start on turf. Has a good draw and looks to have every chance 5. BLEU BLANC BLEU - Has long been out of his way and cannot be worth any consideration 6. BRICK - Ran a big race despite the sanction at Oraison and must be given the benefit of the doubt 7. BODEGA DEL ARTE - Has failed to make any impact on the track in six starts this term and is not about to change her way 8. CALIN DE GLASNET - Has been struggling since last summer and cannot be worth much consideration 9. BRIGHT DE BANVILLE - Finished third at 50/1 in a class F at Marseille-Vivaux last time. Things are much tougher this time 10. COSTA D'OCCAGNES - Made it back to the winners enclosure on turf at Avignon. Steps up in grade with claims 11. CZAR DU VAAL - Consistent sort who always gives everything he has. Tough draw today but cannot be ruled out 12. BISE DELO - Smart performer in the other code and is unlikely to pose a threat on switchback to harness

15 (6) BRICK was disqualified in his last start but nonetheless displayed a solid effort on this occasion. He is well-suited by the starting conditions today and is expected to make amends. (1) BOXEUR D'OR is very well entered in this race at sixty euros from the threshold so he must have a chance. (3) BROADWAY appears to be back at the top of his game and is another for the shortlist. VIVALDI DU VAUCHEL - Is well-entered in this race but off since early January and is best to pass over 3. BIEN ALLER - On a sequence of three successive disqualifications and needs to show vast improvement 4. VILLAGE NATAL - Has done nothing noteworthy since winning a small race at Cavaillon last June. Look elsewhere 5. BLUE PRINCESS - Well entered here and although not at her most rewarding could get a look in 6. VITAL - Won five races in the Province last year and can get a look in despite the absence 7. VALENTIN DU LOISIR - Modest performer who is probably more effective going right-hand. Others preferred 8. BIG UP MAGIK - Did not get the best of run at Lyon last time out. Previous form is solid. Player 9. ALEO JOSSELYN - Useful in the amateur division and is not without a chance here despite his poor draw 10. VIRIL DU DOLLAR - Hard to make a case on form and can easily be passed over 11. CALIN DU REYNARD - Recorded a fifth career success on turf on penultimate start but disappointed last time at the venue 12. VIENS DU SUD - Battling to regain best form but recent runs were fair and could earn some money Anything can happen in this modest line-up. Although he has an tough outside draw, (8) BIG UP MAGIK looks the pick on form and gets the vote to record an eleventh career success. He will be retained ahead of (5) BLUE PRINCESS who goes barefoot while returning from a two months absence. (6) VITAL and (11) CALIN DU REYNARD can be worth a look in. 18 Race 3 1. BAMBOU DES CORVEES - Versatile, fit, ready and barefoot. Could be in the battle for success 2. CESAR D'ERAH - Delicate but not devoid of ability. Could have a say in the outcome if applied 3. CALICOT DU VIVIER - Lightly-raced in this discipline but capable under harness so should not be underestimated 4. VICTOR LE FOL - Lost his way during the autumn and has shown no sign of an imminent return to form 5. VENT DU DER - Poor recent form under harness and is unlikely to trouble the judge here today 6. VELVET UNDERGROUND - Has not won a race since April 2013 and is unlikely to change his way 7. VALOIS DE BUSSET - As good as ever. On a hattrick and is expected to run a big race once again 8. VERJUS - Modest recent form in either code and looks hard to retain under current's conditions 9. ARMANY D'HERMES - Has never won a race after 14 attempts in this discipline. Likely to stay this way 10. CARINA BEJI - Has enjoyed a fruitful start of the year under harness and must be respected on first run under the saddle 11. VERY GOOD TEJY - Has made the frame just once from four starts in this code. Has a bit to prove 12. VALLEE DE BANNES - Has improved with every run in this discipline and looks a sound podium contender (1) BAMBOU DES CORVEES has talent in spades but he goes barefoot this time unlike in his last start and must have a winning chance. (7) VALOIS DE BUSSET has been running very well of late in this code and looks the biggest danger to the selection. FANTASIA ROSE - Placed once - over course & distance- in five outings and must show improvement 4. FIDJI TURGOT - Won well on turf first time out and is expected to confirm on first run on sand 5. FANTASY BOND - Has displayed a couple of decent efforts on turf so far and can run into the money 6. FALGA DE RITZ - Runner-up at 7/1 first time out at Lyon la Soie. Player with improvement likely 7. FOR CAMILLE - Did not generate much interest on first start at Avignon one month ago. Best to watch 8. FUNNY LIFE - Good debut when runner-up at Cagnes sur Mer. Disqualified twice since 9. FANTASTICA D'ALESA - Newcomers from the Nicolas Ensch's stable must always be respected. Betting will provide more clues 10. FEELING D'OURVILLE - Newcomers from this top-local stable are generally ready to fare. Respected 11. FLOCON DE GINAI - Disqualified three from three and is unlikely to garner much support 12. FANNY MAZA - Has qualified for racing in a modest 1'20"3 at Caen. Watch betting for clues (4) FIDJI TURGOT won well first time out on turf and has pulled the best draw today. She is the number one horse from the Yannick-Alain Briand stable who has four runners in the race. It is interesting to see that the trainer is on board newcomer (10) FEELING D'OURVILLE. Goes barefoot again and can pop-in 3. DEXTER LOULOU - Beaten a long way on both outings this term and is best to overlook 4. DEAL MAJYC - Unreliable but not without ability and could run into the money 5. DEXTERIA - Not the most reliable horse but won well last time on turf and is from a top yard 6. DYLAN TURGOT - Handy sort when applied. Two career successes on turf. Has a bit to find on sand 7. DOTTARUS - A win and two seconds last term but yet to reproduce that form this year - and prone to breaking stride 8. DECLIC DU RADON - Won well last twice but this was on turf and without shoes. Fully shod today and back on sand 9. DIABOLO DE JOUDES - Still a maiden after 55 starts and is unlikely to go off the mark this time either 10. DIGA DE CAHOT - Respectable for the most part but remains very delicate. Place prospect 11. DREAM ALONG - Won three on the trot earlier in the year. Solid runner-up effort at Toulouse. Player 12. DENVER DU BOURG - Has finished in the frame just once from six starts this year. Others are preferred 13. DESOTO - Consistent for the most part. Is well-entered and should garner significant support Respectively second and third at Grenade sur Garonne last time out, (11) DREAM ALONG and (13) DESOTO should once again feature prominently but a significant preference is given to Eric Prudhon's horse as he has proven far more effective than his rival this season. The well-esteemed (2) DIAMANT DU GOUTIER is better than his recent efforts suggest. Selections

24 Race 6 1. DIAMANT DE BOLAN - One win from 23 thus far. Modest last three runs and must reaffirm 2. DONA DE TOUCHYVON - 29 starts without winning. Fit and ready but needs to find a few lengths 3. DARY GEDE - Improved last two runs on turf but back on sand today and will have limited aspirations 4. DIVINE APHRODITE - Has struggled since last win in March Capable but unlikely on current form 5. DELICE MAJYC - Has never won a race from 33 starts and is unlikely to change this figure 6. DOMINO LA RAVELLE - Broke his duck at Marseille last January but has gone cold in three subsequent starts 7. DARCO POTERIE - Tends to go extremely well when applied and although was disqualified last twice, must be given another chance 8. DE PADD - Well tried this year and does have a chance for place in a race like this 9. DESIR DU BOIS - Never finishes far from the action but has won just once in 35 starts. Place chance at best 10. DON'T FORGET - Unreliable but is fit and ready for this and has winning chance. Respect 11. DIEGO OF CARLESS - One time winner from 42. Modest recent form and is unlikely to shake things up 12. DRAGONOWICZ - Caught the eye when fifth at he venue last time out. Appears to be back on the right path Although he has not won a race for two years, (12) DRAGONOWICZ has shown signs of resurgence in his last start and could make it back in the winners enclosure. He is sure to generate a lot of interest and could have the edge over (11) DIEGO OF CARLESS who also displayed a solid last effort who saw him gaining a non-rewarding sixth place in a better race than today. ELSTAR - A totally different horse since racing unshod. On a hattrick and must be respected 3. EVASONN - Not devoid of ability but has a bit to prove this distance. Outside chance 4.
