2 The Australian Warmblood Horse Association Ltd (AWHA) Queensland Branch in conjunction with Horsezone, is conducting an online stallion service auction of AWHA stallions commencing on 01 Jul 11, concluding 26 Aug 11 at 8:00pm EST. We have the following stallions on offer: * Ferrero Rocher (Imp) (Florestan I/Weltmeyer/Pik Bube II), * Fishermans Friend (Imp) (Fabriano/Pik Solo/Libanon), * Jaybee Akebono (Aachimedes/Falkland/Flaneur), * Lauries As (Imp) (Londonderry/Pik Bube I/Golden Miller), * Riverside (Imp) (Regazzoni/Donnerhall/Pik König), * Rotspon (IFS) (Rubinstein I/Argentan/Pik Bube I), and * Scolari (IFS) (Sandro Hit/De Niro/Weltmeyer). The AWHA QLD Branch would like to thank Horsezone for their generosity in assisting us conduct our online stallion service auction as well as the stallion owners as listed below: * Double Creek Farm, * International Horse Breeders (IHB), * Remi Stud, * Revelwood Warmblood Stud (in conjunction with Jenny Rapson), and * Waterview Park. Please note that you do not need to be an AWHA member to bid on our stallions. If you are interested in becoming a member of the AWHA, please visit our website at for fees, forms and further contact information for your state. If you are interested in registering your horse with the AWHA or wish to check its eligibility, please contact the AWHA Registrations Administrator. Auction Terms and Conditions. All stallions featured in the AWHA online stallion service auction have a current AWHA breeding permit, i.e. are Approved, Licensed, Performance Accepted, Imported Frozen Semen (IFS) listed or Imported Chilled Semen (ICS) listed. All stallion owners will accept AWHA classified Warmblood Studbook and Warmblood, Thoroughbred or Anglo Arabian Foundation Mares. By participating in the AWHA online stallion service auction, you are stating that: 1. You have read the stallion owner s/agent s breeding contract and special conditions as outlined on the stallion s listing on Horsezone. You understand and agree that if you are the successful bidder, once you have made payment for the service, you are to make direct contact with the stallion owner/agent to arrange to create a contract between yourself and the stallion owner/agent for the service. Under no circumstances can you seek compensation from any parties involved in the organisation of the auction and agree that the service is non-refundable and is payable upfront. 2. You understand that you will be bidding only on the actual service

3 and that there may be additional costs with the service which may include booking and/or handling fees, shipment costs, collection costs, agistment, veterinary costs, etc. which are outlined in the stallion breeding contracts and special terms and conditions. 3. You agree to make your own investigations in the stallion service prior to bidding, ensuring that you are fully aware of those special conditions and additional costs. Please note: final acceptance of mares at stud is a matter for you, the bidder and the stallion owner. Prospective bidders are advised to contact the stud and obtain the stud s standard breeding contract and terms and conditions (if not supplied on Horsezone s website). The following general guidelines are offered: a. The stud has the right to accept or reject any mare, and b. Unless other arrangements are made between the stud and the successful bidder, mares must arrive at the stud or be ready for AI, as the case may be, no later than 31 Dec 11. No mare receiving a service won through this auction will be served after the end of 28 Feb All listed stallion services are inclusive of GST and all bids will be considered as inclusive of GST. 5. You agree that you will not, in registering for and using the service, use a false or misleading name or give false or misleading information. You must ensure that your information is true, accurate and complete, and not fraudulent or misleading. 6. When you register for the service, you must choose your user name and password. You must have a valid user name (or login ) and password before you can bid on a service on Horsezone. You are responsible for the security of your user name and password. You authorise us to assume that anyone using your user name and password is you or someone authorised by you. Unauthorised access and use of your details will, under no circumstances, negate your liability for any bids made on Horsezone or any obligation to purchase a service which may result from such use. You must notify Horsezone immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your user name or password or of any other security breach. 7. You must be able to form legally binding contracts to use the service. This means that if you are under 18 years of age or otherwise legally prohibited from entering into binding contracts, you must not use the service. 8. When you use the service and bid on an online auction conducted on Horsezone, you are making an offer to buy the service at your bid price. If your bid price is the winner s bid amount, you will be the winning bidder and are obliged to purchase the service you have bid for and pay the winner s bid amount, plus any additional charges that you may be obliged to pay. Please take care when making a bid as once your bid is placed, it cannot be withdrawn. Please take care when setting an autobid, as once your autobid is placed, it cannot be altered or withdrawn.

4 9. The AWHA and Horsezone are not responsible for bids not received, processed or accepted due to technical difficulties, including those online bids placed by autobid. In particular, we are not responsible for any loss, liability or damage incurred by you as a result of a bid not received, processed or accepted due to technical difficulties. 10. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the service, and operation of Horsezone may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. 11. You acknowledge that the Internet can be an unstable and, sometimes, insecure marketplace. At times the service may not be available or bids placed at online auctions may not be processed or may not be accepted for reasons beyond our control. In these circumstances we accept no responsibility. We will not post a bid on your behalf. He had his early training with Australian Representative rider Matthew Dowsley. Ferrero Rocher has competed with much success in Young Dressage Horse classes culminating with his win at Dressage with the Stars in He was awarded an amazing 9.5 for his rideability by Dr Ulf Moller who is very well regarded for his training of young horses at the famous PSI barn in Germany. Ferrero Rocher has been on a winning streak in the dressage arena from Medium/Advanced level to now Prix St Georges and Intermediaire I classes. He has won at all major competitions such as the Victorian State Championships, the Sydney CDI, and the National Dressage Championships with scores exceeding 70%! In 2006, after only his third FEI start, Ferrero Rocher was awarded winner of the Prix St Georges Cup DWTS and was immediately listed on the NSW State Dressage Squad and the National Development Squad. He obtained his stallion licensing from the Hanoverian Society with exceptional scores for his paces: Trot 9, Canter 8, Walk 10! This spectacular stallion is unstoppable!!! His breeding reflects the modernisation of Warmblood breeding with the cross of Florestan, Weltmeyer and Pik Bube. This cross produced the dual World Young Horse Champion, Florencio. Not only is Ferrero Rocher bred to produce international Grand Prix competitors, but his quality of temperament and trainability is lending himself to breed horses easily managed by riders of all levels and aspirations. Fishermans Friend (Fish) completed his stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf with an index of for jumping as well as for dressage, showing his amazing versatility inherited from both his parents. His FN Breeding Value has now increased through the successes of his progeny, to 118 for jumping and 130 for dressage having now produced successful FEI horses in both dressage and jumping. Fish also sired the Spanish 5 year old and 6 year old Young Dressage Horse Champion, Finja, as well as the top priced showjumper at the Hanoverian Auction in Germany. His oldest progeny in Germany are now competing at FEI level with his son, Feng Shui, winning at Prix St George. Jaybee Akebono is a 17.2hh bay stallion by Aachimedes and combines the Holsteiner bloodlines of Falkland and Flaneur with the Hanoverian bloodlines of Aachen and Domherr. He was the AWHA QLD Premium colt in This huge stallion is campaigned by a lady rider and his unflappable laid back temperament continues to amaze us. To fully appreciate this temperament you need to come and meet him. In the competition arena he has been achieving scores of 70% and over and the judges have described him as having big, scopey, active, expressive paces. Riverside is a premium licensed stallion who arrived in Australia in September He was purchased from Hengststation Pape in Germany in July 2008, however needed to complete his stud duties in Germany before leaving for Australia. Riverside was licensed in 2003 achieving top scores in dressage and high values in show jumping. He achieved an overall score of with an outstanding dressage index of pts. To put this in perspective, his overall index is higher than many highly regarded stallions such as Alabaster, Brentano II, Londonderry, Lord Sinclair, Pommery and Wolkentanz just to name a few! Riverside connects the breeding lines of Rubinstein and Donnerhall, arguably the two most successful international dressage stallions when combined. Riverside s mother, St. Pr. St. Desiree, is full sister to the stallion Donnerschlag, his grandmother Pirola is a full sister to the sires Pik Bube I & II. Out of Pirola, three horses competed successfully in dressage at an advanced level. She has produced 3 licensed sons and several state premium mares. Riverside s athletic career is extremely successful. In 2006 he was a finalist of the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden. He was the most highly qualified horse with a score of 9,0 for the Federal Championships (Bundeschampionat) in Warendorf. At his performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1998, Rotspon came first in the overall placing and first in dressage. He has a character and temperament score of 9. A conformation score of 8, a jumping ability score of 8 and rideability scores of 9 and 10. He has an outstanding walk score of 8, (the average is 6.3) his trot is also very high of 8.33 (against the average of 6.38). His canter score of 9 puts him again well above the average. Rotspon is very elegantly made with a noble black colour with a lot of expression and great appearance. He is big-framed with good riding horse points, a lot of substance and correct conformation. He has high rideability, quality basic gaits and a very good attitude. Besides his extraordinary dressage he also has a good jumping result. Apart from his famous sire, Rubinstein 1, Rotspon also has a great pedigree on his dam side; Argentan by Absatz and Paragona by Pik Bube. Rotspon has spectacular movement, a beautiful temperament and outstanding ability. He has an incredible rideability as does his foals. His first foals totally met the high expectations of Celle. Numerous foals have already enriched the Verden foal auctions. His foals have beautiful heads and a good conformation (long sloping shoulder and long well set up neck.) They are equipped with a very elastic trot and a ground covering walk. In 2009, 29 offspring were terrific advertisements for their sire in advanced level dressage tests, one winning the Lower Saxonian Championships for Young Riders, and the Golden Rider s Badge.
