1 SWA WPCS BRONZE ROSETTE SHOW 15 TH NOVEMBER 2015 STRETCHOLT EQUESTRIAN CENTRE, STRETCHOLT, NR BRIDGWATER, SOMERSET Another well supported and successful Show which was down to the dedicated helpers, stewards, sponsors and judges. This was the first year we have run just purely Welsh and their Part/breds and classes were far from disappointing! Bronze Medal Rosette classes were full of quality ponies and cobs - Jo Sheil (Dukeshill) had a lovely assortment of beautiful Welsh Section A s to judge with her overall A Champion going to Mr and Mrs Donati s MILWAS MEREDITH from the 2/3yr old Class Reserve went to Mr and Mrs Franklin s successful winning yearling SARUM ROSE D ANJOU produced by Katy Parry. Kathy Sheil (Dukeshill) had an equally good group of Section B s with Joy Wymans beautiful Yearling WAXWING ARCHIVE taking the strong Championship and Bronze Medal Rosette with ANNANDALE EMBER owned by Emma Lerwill in Reserve. Alison Squires (Yswain) did not have many C s forward but what was maybe lacking in numbers certainly wasn t lacking in quality and it was Ross Cordery s GARLANCE FLASH JAC that took the Championship from the yearling class with the 2 nd placed Yearling LYNARD WILD WALES owned by G Flower in Reserve. The Section D s were better supported with Katie Hodges beautiful Cob Sale purchase SODEN HEULWEN winning a strong 2/3yr old class and taking the D Championship with the Reserve coming from the same class which was Mrs B Wessley s PENSTACAN FLORIANA. In the outside ring Carol Isaac (Penclose) had another good selection of A s, B s, C s and D s and it was from this ring in the C Foal class GLEBEDALE RIZZLE KICKS owned by Miss E Marshallsay and handled by Kitty Bodily that ended up going SUPREME IN-HAND OF SHOW with CHANLEE PAUSE FOR THOUGHT going through as Reserve from the Part-Bred Section judged by Andrew Pitman (Wycroft). A huge thank you to Yvonne Small, Anne Brown, Mary-Anne McCrow and Jamie Frost who stewarded and all did an amazing job. Amanda Williams, who as an Official kept Health and Safety at bay by managing the indoor arena. Grateful thanks (as always) to Anne and John Brice for the Car Parking Janet and Sue Hardy for the endless work at every show and last of all my daughter who thrives on being in charge! thank you Kayleigh Spiller.
