1 ADDENDUM A Here are a few requests concerning the Michael Feinstein engagement. Your kind attention to these matters will be greatly appreciated. 1) Please post someone at the stage door to meet Artist upon his arrival and escort him to his dressing room. 2) Please make sure that only members of the technical crew are present during the rehearsal and/or sound check and that the hall is as quiet as possible. Any ushers or maintenance people should be asked to leave the room. The sound check for a solo performance only takes about 30 minutes. At rehearsal's end please spike the piano bench before piano tuner begins touch-up and make sure it is in place prior to performance. Please make sure any notes on the piano are not removed or moved when the piano tuner tunes the piano. 3) Security backstage is important and should be reasonably tight. Please post a security person at the backstage entrance and the dressing room door at all times. Only the road manager and persons authorized by the road manager are to be permitted entrance to the dressing room. The Artist will receive no visitors until after the show and then only those persons on our guest list will be allowed backstage unless specifically cleared by the road manager. 4) There must be a stage large and sturdy enough to comfortably and safely accommodate the performer and a 9-foot grand piano (no less than 24' wide and 16' deep) and or appropriate height for easy viewing from the audience. (No proprietary staging allowed. Wenger or Stagerite noncarpeted preferred) The Artist's face must be visible to every audience member 5) At no time recorded house music is to be played at any time. 2 ADDENDUM B Sound Requirements Microphones/stands Microphone selection in this section must be strictly adhered to - 1- Shure B87 C. Must be less than two years old with no dents or rust.. The vocal mic on the piano needs to be put on a boom stand, (K& M or Atlas) coming from the up stage side of the piano. The boom will need to be at least 36. NO EXCEPTIONS on the length of the boom arm 2 (two) AKG 414 for the piano, must be less than two years old These mics will be taped in on tape bridges within the piano. For most dates the lid will remain on the piano and open on high stick 1 (one) Shure U24D or UHF-R Receivers with 2 (two) transmitters with Beta 87C capsule Clear Com There will need to be Clear Com between and FOH (hand Set, flasher, base), LD, spots, stage manager and stage left and right. (head set, flasher, belt pack). Please make sure Clear Com is in good working order. FOH would prefer a phone butt set or single ear muff. Michael Feinstein Solo Rider, Rev 01/3/2015 2

3 Monitors MIX 1-2 (two) monitor wedges and 1 (one) mix down stage MIX 2-1 (one) monitor wedge and 1 (one) mix on the up stage leg of the piano. A qualified English speaking-sober System Technician versed with ALL aspects of componetry of the Audio System must accompany monitor system The FOH console will be used to do these mixes. FOH will need to be able to handle all channels coming from the stage and be capable of at least 8 separate mixes. Monitor EQ s will need to be placed at FOH for easy access. 4 FOH 1 (one) large format FOH console with at least 24 mono and 4 stereo channels, e.g. listed in order of preference,. Soundcraft Vi6, Vi1, Digico D1, D5Yamaha PM5D, Yamaha MC7, Yamaha PM4000, Soundcraft Series 5, or Midas Heritage System graphic 31 band 1/3 octave EQ s (KT DN360, Audient ASP231, BSS Opal) will need to be available to the FOH engineer. If there are delays and/or front fills these will need to have a 31 band 1/3 octave graphic EQ patched in plus time alignments. FOH mix position shall be located in the house, where operator can both see and hear. Monitors will be run from FOH. Please have 2 channels of EQ for the 2 mixes at FOH. NO BOOTHS WITH or WITHOUT WINDOWS. 2 reverb units at FOH (T.C. M5000, T.C. M3000, SPX 990) 1 (one) SM 58S mic for voice of god AT FOH 1 (one) playback rack to include a PROFESSIONAL FORMAT CD player, 1 CDR Recorder. There must be 3 (three) new and unwrapped 80 minute CDR disks supplied by Purchaser also to be used by Artist. A qualified English speaking-sober FOH / System Technician versed with ALL aspects of componetry of the Audio System must accompany FOH system For Digital desks, no outboard gear will be needed. On board efx and comps will be used HOUSE SPEAKERS AND AMPLIFIERS The house speaker cabinets are to be comprised of professional, state of the art components. The system is to be operated in stereo, and must be adequately powered by professional quality amplifiers. The speaker arrays shall be actively crossed over (minimum 3 way stereo) with accompanying subwoofer cabinets. These arrays shall be designed to give even coverage to all seats without phase or lobbing errors. Please pay attention to any balcony or under balcony areas. Please make sure that there is adequate PA coverage to the first couple of rows. It may be necessary to have some Front Fills to accomplish this. The speaker and amplifier system shall be capable of producing sound pressure levels of 115db A weighted with a bandwidth of 30hz 16khz at the house mix position. This does not assume that the system will be operated at this level, only that there is sufficient headroom to accommodate the dynamic range of the music being performed Acceptable speakers are Vdos, DV Dos, Turbo Sound, JBL, EAW 760 s, Vertec, Martin W8LC or W8L and Adamson and please no proprietary boxes. 5 ADDENDUM C Lighting requirements LIGHTING: 2 (two) spot lights, eg., Super Trooper or appropriate for venue size. The spots will be on Artist the entire time he is on stage, with black outs and fades as appropriate. One spot will pick up any of the band members for solos and Artist introduction. Spots will have either a no color frame or a 33 gel in frame 1. Spots are to be full body and in focus. 120 K of ETC Source Four par cans (60 upstage and 60 downstage) with 4 washes of red (R 27/L 26), blue (R 83/L 119), amber (R 21/L 158) and pink (R 34/L 110) OR equivalent for theatre with several electrics on fly systems. (4) ETC 26 degrees Lekos. These will be focused on the piano area (2 from the up stage and 2 from the down stage truss.) On the up stage lights they should be hung so that it creates a sharp angle, 45%, to the piano bench. (1) ETC 26 degree Leko should be focused on the piano as a down light on the music rack of the piano. This should be used at about 20 % during the show so that the band can see the band leader if Mr. Feinstein is not playing the piano. (6) ETC 50 degrees Lekos with break-up gobos in them. These should be focused on the white cyc between the cyc and the scrim. 2 of the lekos should be placed on the floor and 2 should be either flown or placed on 6 polls with heavy bases and all should be focused on the cyc. Finally 2 should be focused from upstage pipes down on to the stage spilling light on to the stage. (12) 3 cell flown and ground row cyc lights (red, blue, green) Stand lights for drums, piano, guitar and bass need to be hard wired, NOT DIMMERS SOFT GOODS: 1 (one) 40 X 24 or size appropriate white cyc needed to fill the back of the stage with black legs on each side or size appropriate white shark tooth scrim needed to fill the back of the stage 1 (one) 40 X 24 or size appropriate black shark tooth scrim needed to fill the back of the stage with black legs on each side; OR 1 (one) 40 x 24; or size appropriate Star drop needed to fill the back of the stage 1 (one ) 40 X 24 or size appropriate white shark tooth scrim needed to fill the back of the stage 1 (one) full stage width up stage black curtain Other soft goods or foliage to make the stage more attractive; Make sure the raisers have skirts on sides and fronts If the venue has any kind of moving light, their use may be requested by the Production Manager, and they must be operated by a house operator. Miscellaneous 12 Duracell AA Procell Batteries for the wireless mics If the piano is going on a portable stage, the stage must be at least 24 long x16 deep x- 18 high riser; This is to be carpeted and skirted Production Office with dedicated phone, fax and data lines. 9 DRESSING ROOM REQUIREMENTS 1 Star Dressing Room for Michael Feinstein All dressing rooms must be heated and cooled, have adequate electrical outlets and appropriate lighting. All dressing rooms must have clean private toilets, hot and cold running water, and a full length mirror. All dressing rooms should have adequate clean comfortable furniture to facilitate the traveling party. All dressing rooms must be free of any chemical, paint or odor prior to the crew arrival. DO NOT PAINT THE DAY BEFORE. He does not want Gluten Free cookies, pretzels or other items labeled as being gluten free (many gluten free items contain eggs and other things unacceptable for vegans). He does eat other vegan products made with all other grains, except for Wheat. He is not Gluten intolerant. If one is not available, please have a weighted 88 note keyboard with amp in room.
