1 IDAHO REGATTA 2018 Race Circular Test Date: Friday June 22nd. Racing: Saturday June 23rd and Sunday June 24th. Place: Burley Golf Course Marina, Snake River, Burley Idaho. Directions : From Exit 211, South on HWY 24/30, Left Turn HWY 81, ¼ mile turn left at the Burley Golf Course Marina. From Exit 208, South on HWY 27, East on Main St./HWY 30, Right on HWY 81, south ¼ mile to Burley Golf Course Marina. Course: INBOARD: 3-4 Laps of an approx. 1-1/4 mile course = 3.75 miles. (4 LAP Final Faulkner Trophy) INBOARD ENDURANCE: 10 Laps = 12.5 miles and 20 Laps = 25 miles. GNs: 4 Lap Heat on Sunday (to establish new record for Faulkner Trophy due to engine changes). Comp Jet will run 4 lap heats and finals as requested from last year. Start Type: Flag from Timing Tower & LeMans Safety/Rescue: Mini Cassia Dive & Rescue Teams (Minidoka and Cassia Counties Sheriff's Departments) Classes: KRR, SS, PS, GN, CJ, CB, SE, GPS100, SST-45, UnBlown Flat Prizes: Awards Banquet on Sunday 6/24 at the Race Site following the event. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for overall weekend. Times for the Faulkner Trophy will be taken from the 4 LAP Final. All classes except Grand National Class are eligible for the Faulkner Memorial Trophy. Registration: Thursday 6/21: Doc's Pizza 514 6th St, Rupert, ID PM to 8:30PM. Friday 6/22: Race Site 8AM to 3PM Saturday 6/23: Before Drivers meeting at 9AM. No registration on Sunday 6/24. Registration per boat includes 6 pit passes and 1 vehicle pass. NO extra vehicle passes will be available or allowed in the Pits. More info will be posted on our website ( ) and on our Facebook page ( ) ***NO INSURED TESTING ON THURSDAY JUNE 21st. *** Regatta Committee/Security personnel will be assigning Hot Pits & RV parking Thursday 6/21 starting at 5:00pm and before 9am Friday 6/22 at the race site for Race Trailers (Hot Pits only). PLEASE DO NOT PARK your Racing Trailers or RV's until after 5:00 PM THURSDAY 6/21. You will be turned away from the race site if you show up before that. * Closed toed shoes will be worn in ALL Restricted Areas. NO Exceptions * United Oil will be at the Idaho Regatta this year and they are offering a Discount to Racers to Pre-Order & Purchase fuel for the race weekend and pick it up at the race site. PLEASE contact, Mike Deuel , mikedeuel@unitedoil.net to place your Fuel Pre-purchase orders. * Idaho Invasive Species Inspections/Stickers are required for Non-Idaho registered vessels that are participating in this event. It s Idaho State Law for every boat to stop at port to be inspected. Burley Regatta Committee highly recommends stopping at a port of entry to get boat inspected as well as stickered. Be sure to ask the inspection personnel to provide documentation for inspection/stickers. They are open 7 days a week from 6am to 9pm. The State of Idaho will have representatives present at Racer Registration on Thursday June 21st and on Friday June 22nd and Saturday 23rd at the race site for inspections or questions. THURSDAY 6/21 RACER REGISTRATION at Doc's Pizza 514 6th St, Rupert, ID from 6PM to 8:30PM. Boat Show -N- Shine, Fish Fry, more food available from other Restaurants on the Square, entertainment and fun. Proceeds benefit the Historic Wilson Theater Restoration project. Hosted by the City of Rupert. Racers Encouraged and Invited to show off boats to fans. $300 prize money. FRIDAY 6/22 Boat Parade, meet at Smith's Food & Drug 937 E. Main St Burley, ID. Meet & Greet 9:30AM prior to start of Parade. Parade starts at 10AM. TEST DAY 12AM 3PM GRAND PRIX SHOOTOUT starts approx. 5PM. Semi-Le Mans start, 4 lap Sprint to establish new record for Faulkner Memorial Trophy on Sunday 6/24. SST - 45 Guaranteed TOW money on legal 4 boat count class, Le Mans style start. Racers must be SCSC members and show membership or join and pay membership fee. Drivers must read & sign release waiver at check in/registration. 3 All prizes are the responsibility of the Burley Regatta Committee, Inc. SCSC is the sanctioning body and all racers, owners, riders, must join SCSC due to the insurance mandate. SCSC does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of the Burley Regatta Committee Inc. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
