Indianapolis: The Damar Guild of Indianapolis, would like to invite you to attend the 2018 fund raising gala, Under the Damar Big Top at the Indiana Roof. Damar Services helps children and adults with intellectual and emotional challenges, including the entire spectrum of autism. This annual event is always exciting, with dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions and many other surprises. Bill and Cheryl Reynolds who attended last year, hope, with Susie & Gary, to have several tables of Corvette Indy friends join us for this fun evening. A table of 8 will qualify as a CI sponsorship, including a sign on the table, at a cost of $125 per person. Individual tickets are $150 per person. Call Susie Melton, if you have questions or go to DamarGuild.org to purchase your tickets. Susie Melton will have the Damar Guild raffles tickets available at the next CI Meeting. They are $20 to win $2,000! The drawing will be March 3 rd. You do not need to be present to win. She knows Indiana like no one else, as head of the Nature Conservancy. Hoosier Corvette Club 14 Event Autocross Weekend Indianapolis Area Marion: 2018 Wheels and Chrome car show August 11th from 10am - 3pm. This is a No Grass and Mud staging arena, so each car is ensured 2 asphalt parking stalls. 1 for the vehicle and one beside it for sitting area. Easy Up tents for shade are encouraged. There are Porta-Potties on sight, Concessions and Music relevant to the era's. Registration is same day (Reg. tent opens at 0900) and is only $10.00 per vehicle. All money collected from the event goes to New Life Community Outreach Program and helps to support our other programs like Million Egg Hunt, Christmas in July, Grant County Rescue Mission - Walk a Mile Breakfast and more. Michiana CC 14 Event Autocross Tire Rack South Bend, IN Aug Detroit, Michigan Corvettes on Woodward Hosted by Jerry and Elaine Croy Jerry and Elaine Croy are again hosting a 2-night trip, August 14 & 15, to Corvettes on Woodward north of Detroit, MI (Corvettes on Woodward 2018 dates are August ). Members returning on Thursday 8/16 will be back in Indy in time for the CI Vets for Vettes Car Show at the American Legion on 8/18. Jerry and Elaine will be staying through the weekend and will be attending the Woodward Dream Cruise on Saturday August 18. We leave Springboro together, meet at Caesar Creek for a halfway point ( to re-group, potty stop and stretch legs a bit ) then head back to our starting point in Springboro.
