2 Special Olympics Southern California s Plane Pull is an exhilarating team competition that challenges groups to pull a 124,000 pound FedEx Boeing 757, 12-feet. The Plane Pull is a family event with activities for all ages, including a Kids' Pull. Each 25 person team must raise a minimum of $1,250 or individuals can raise $50 to participate. Participants will receive an official shirt, and BBQ lunch. All teams will be matched with one Special Olympics athlete who will act as the Honorary Pilot and will join the team during their pull and team photo. LONG BEACH AIRPORT 2830 E WARDLOW RD. ABOUT LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN (LETR) LETR is a global partnership where law enforcement officers raise money and awareness to support Special Olympics athletes. Through hundreds of events, including the Plane Pull, Tip-A-Cops, Polar Plunges, runs, and the Final Leg, more than 3,000 law enforcement officers from 300 agencies throughout Southern California work a whole new beat on behalf of our athletes. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is Special Olympics' largest grassroots fundraising and public awareness vehicle. The Southern California Torch Run is one of the leading programs in the world having raised $1.5 million in 2016.
