3 HIGHLIGHTS Coordination Meeting Between INASGOC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 45 Embassies Jakarta, March 28 th, 2018 INASGOC had successfully held coordination meeting with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the representatives of 45, 18 th Asian Games 2018 participating nations embassy on March 28 th, Mr. Andri Hadi, Director General for Protocol and Consular Affairs of Republic Indonesia, stated that the purpose of this meeting was not only to socialize 18 th Asian Games 2018 to the participa ting countries, but also part of the host nation preparations. We need a favor from the ambassadors to promote the Asian Games in their home countries to make Asian Games truly the energy of Asia, said Mr. Hadi. The same thing was also said by Mr. Erick Thohir, President of the INASGOC, about the importance of this coordination meeting before carrying out his presentations in front of the attendances. In his presentations, Mr. Thohir gave the meeting delegates some key information regarding 18 th Asian Games 2018, such as the general game schedules, the usage of some venues in West Java, and the ambitions to made Asia as a major player in the world of sports through 18 th Asian Games

4 The other important point is about the protocol information related to Opening & Closing Ceremony and their impact on embassies personnel. Regarding this matter, 18 th Asian Games 2018 itself will use OCA Protocol Guidelines. The meeting was conducted before the delegations took a venues visit in Gelora Bung Karno cluster. 4

5 World Press Briefing Jakarta, April 2 nd -3 rd, 2018 Jakarta and Palembang will be ready to host 18 th Asian Games 2018, said the Secretary General of Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC), Mr. Eris Herryanto in front of 170 media members who were attending the World Press Briefing at the Hotel Borobudur Jakarta on April 2 nd, We have around 140 days to finish our preparations for the Asian Games and, with the work we have already done, I can say that we are ready to have a successful Asian Games, he said. World Press Briefing was obviously a great event for INASGOC to inform the world about their upcoming key events in relations to the host cities preparations, such as the Torch Relay event that will involve 40 cities starting from New Delhi, India, to Jakarta, Indonesia. Technical Delegates Meeting Jakarta, April 4 th -5 th, 2018 The final Technical Delegates (TD) Meeting was held on Wednesday, April 4 th, 2018, at JS Luwansa Hotel and Convention Centre.

7 Technical Delegates Meeting Jakarta, April 4 th -5 th, 2018 The final Technical Delegates (TD) Meeting was held on Wednesday, April 4 th, 2018, at JS Luwansa Hotel and Convention Centre. Besides 40 Technical Delegates of sports that will be competed in the 18 th Asian Games 2018, representatives from Asian and International Sports Federations, OCA and INAS- GOC representatives were also attended the meeting. One of the agenda of this final Technical Delegates Meeting is the one-on-one meetings and venue visits after the presentations of INASGOC key departments. The Secretary for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Gatot S. Dewa Broto stated in his opening speech that this is the last chance to resolve the remaining issues as this was the final Technical Delegates Meeting. Similar things were also said by Mr. Erick Thohir, President of INASGOC. This is a wonderful opportunity for the technical delegates to discuss all the issues with the organizing committee and provide clear information for further progress towards a successful Asian Games, he said. 7

Athletes Village Kemayoran, Jakarta, will consist of six towers and can accommodate 15,000 athletes and officials. For additional information, Dining Hall capacity can serve 4,000 people. Athletes Village in Palembang will be placed inside Jakabaring Sports City and can accommodate 3,000 athletes, using two Dining Hall with 2,000 and 1,000 capacity. Entry by Sport deadline is on March 9 th, Entry by Number deadline is on April 30 th, Entry by Name deadline is on June 30 th, The Main Media Centre (MMC) will be located at Jakarta Convention Centre, with a sub-mmc at Palembang. IGBS, as host broadcaster of 18 th Asian Games 2018 will provide full TV coverage for all 40 sports, including 38 live and produce 60 minutes daily highlights show. 8

Import Export of Medication and Equipment Form Drugs, quasi-drugs and medical equipment may be brought into Indonesia for athletes and other team members only when prior approval was obtained via submission of the prescribed form. NOC Medical Agreement Form Is an agreement for NOCs to confirm that their NOC physicians and other healthcare practitioners are authorized to provide medical services to team members during the Games with proper medical liability insurance coverage, and ensure that each medical practitioner who accompanies the delegation will be assumed to take full responsibility for any medical services provided. NOC Team Physician Registration Form Team physicians of all delegations must complete registration in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Medical Services Manual for the 18th Indonesia Asian Games 2018 before being eligible to provide medical services for members of their delegations during the Games. 15
