FROM SARA S SPOT We had another great IAA Indoor State Championship with a prominent group of young archers participating. Thank you to Springfield Archery for hosting our event again this year. Results are in the bulletin and on IAA Facebook. Pictures of the State Indoor can also be seen on IAA Facebook. Congratulations to the Great Lakes Indoor Sectionals participants. The Illinois archers with first place wins were PFFS Dusti Batsch, AFTrad Maria Mascarenas, SMFSL Mike Lantz, SSMBB Norman Lauer, and CMBB Jacob Rubo; second place were AMFSLR Jonas Lumayag, CMFS Paul Webb, MSMFSLR Gary Severson, SSFFS Nancy Zorn, SSMFSLR Priest Walker, and YAFFSLR Lauren Iodice; third place were AFFS Cassie Flood, AMFSLR Dennis Timpanaro, and SSMTrad Ken Winkelhake. Good Shooting everyone! The NFAA Indoor Nationals at Cincinnati results can be seen at Compliments to all the archers. Our Pros shot outstanding scores with PMFS Chris Eggers finishing tied in 7 th place, PFFS Dusti Batsch took 4 th place, and PSMFS Bob Wolfram tied in 5 th place. Awards in other divisions were 1 st place SFBB Darlene Kossler; 2 nd place SSFFS Kathy Pindell, SMBHFS Jim Kesinger, YMFS Nathan Zimmerman (tie), YFFS Dana Janiec, and CFFSLR Alice Lee. Awarded 3 rd
2 place were YMFSLR Nazhruddin Macalandong, YFFSLR Megan McDorough, CMFSLR Luke Zimmerman, SSMFSLR Gabriel Querol, and AMTrad Alex De Vera. 4 th place awards went to YAFBB Olivia Artz, YFBB Maggie Baus, YFFSLR Olivia Sanborn, and SSMFSLR Kipp Martin; 5 th place SSMFS Mike Flier, SSFFS Nancy Zorn, and AFBB Lori Cano; 6 th place YFFSLR Zoe Woods, and CMFSLR Yash Mishra; 7 th place MSMFSL Bernard Bodoh, SFTrad Maria Mascarenas, and SSMTrad Randy Rutledge; 8 th place CMBHFS Jayden Gerberding, MSMFSLR Gary Severson, and AMTrad David Wildfield; 9 th place AMFS Dillon Drew (tie), SMBHFS Bill Kingore, CMFS Jacob Roeder, and YAFFLR Nicole Weber. The National Archery in Schools Program state shoot will be Friday and Saturday, April 6-7 with shooting times at 8 AM, 9:15, 10:30, 11:45, 1:00 PM, 2:15 and 3:30. If anyone would like to volunteer to help for a couple of hours or all of the time, it would be appreciated.
