The emphasis is on gun handling and storage in the home. If you have a spouse that has guns in the house it is very important that you know and understand the following information.

NRA has a special accident-prevention program called Eddie Eagle for young children. Does not teach gun handling but teach that should always follow 4 steps (Draw attention to the NRA brochure)

Western style, with gate Double Action: Pull trigger, cocks and releases hammer. Open cylinder, eject cartridges, no safety Semi-Auto. Operates differently. Instant reload Resets firing mechanism. Cartridges in magazine. Rifles. Technically similar to pistol Appearance differs greatly Remove magazine, if uncertain open action fully eject, close partially, open and extract/eject round Air Guns: May be pistol or rifle. These are not toys. BB guns, pellet guns. utilize, springs, compressed air, propane etc. to propel projectile. Such a variety of guns it is best to read the manual.

Shot guns use shot shell. come in gauges ex 10, 12 14, 16, 20.
