Register as a member and come out and shoot your mates or complete strangers. We simply want this to be a very affordable night a couple of times a month where you can have a laugh with a community feel. Clubs nights are 1st Thursday & 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6pm. Pay $20 and get overalls, mask and 300 paintballs. You are welcome to bring along your own Markers/Guns and Uniforms. YOU MUST USE OUR PAINTBALLS To register as a member you need to have some form of proof to prove you are permanent in Queenstown. HELI-HUNTING Peter Dunne has issued 2 year Helihunt concessions which is a complete backflip on the confidence and supply agreement with national so it is clear that the Nat gov has given him a shafting. See (Taken from the DOC website ) Intention to grant concession - Dart passage tunnel, Milford Dart Ltd Submissions close: 20 February 2012 The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant concessions under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to Milford Dart Limited to investigate, construct, operate and maintain a bus tunnel from the Routeburn Road in Mt Aspiring National Park to the Hollyford Road in Fiordland National Park. Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal, or make written submissions on the proposal. These impact some very good hunting areas and will forever change the face of the wilderness, so please have a read on the projects and provide input. 4 Takaro Lodge invites you to a public picnic on Sunday 19th February from 11am onwards. Come and see for yourself where the monorail would cross the beautiful Upukerora Valley in Snowdon Forest, which is conservation land and part of the World Heritage Area. Please bring a picnic and lots of friends and be prepared to walk for about 20 minutes along a track to the picnic place (see photo). Children welcome. If the weather is bad on the day call We will leave a message if we decide to postpone it to one week later. How to get there: From Te Anau: head towards Mossburn. After 5 minutes turn left down Kakapo Road and follow signs for Takaro Lodge. Once you enter the big gate follow signs for the picnic. Allow 40 minutes (mostly along gravel). From Invercargill/ Queenstown: head towards Te Anau. Around 20 minutes after Mossburn you will see a house called Josswood on the right. Take the next right turn into Kakapo Road and follow signs for Takaro Lodge. Once you enter the big gates follow signs for the picnic. Allow 2.25 hours from Invercargill and 2.5 hours from Queenstown (last 30 minutes on gravel).
