1 LAST MINUTE INFORMATIE TARGA FLORIO GRAND PRIX Dear competitor, Next Sunday you will join the Ypres Rally regularity thanks to your participation in the Targa Florio Grand Prix. To guarantee a smooth running of the event, we ask you to read the information below, follow the instructions and bring the driving behavior charter signed to the administrative checks. Without signed charter, participation will not be allowed. Driving behavior charter - I declare not to be under the influence of alcohol or stimulants. - I declare to strictly comply with the Road Code. - I declare in the name of myself, my rightful claimants, my heirs, my relatives and our insurer(s) to waive your claim against: 1. The organiser and the other participants of the competition. 2. The occupant(s) or owners of the participating cars 3. The appointees, officials, volunteers or persons tasked with a task. 4. The insurer(s) of persons or bodies for any damage that I would incur during the competition or training that are organised under the authority of the Superstage vzw and in which I participate. CAR PARK The car park will take place at the following location: Parc fermé Sint-Maartensplein The car park is accessible from 8.30 am and only by using the entrance at the Janseniusstraat (accessible from the Menin Gate and the following black dotted line): INGANG CAR PARK MENIN GATE CAR PARK

3 B. REGISTRATION CHECK IN After entering the car park, you are kindly invited to the event's headquarters. The registration / check in and collection of roadbook takes place at the following location: Headquarter Yperley Sint-Jacobsstraat 1 Registration takes place between 8.30 and 9.30 am. 4 C. START The start will take place according to the start time on the control card issued during registration at the following location: Podium Sint-Maartensplein CAR PARK MENIN GATE PODIUM

5 D. DE ROUTE You will receive the complete road book during the administrative check. The route is divided into 2 sections, a morning section and an afternoon section. The two sections are interrupted by a refuel zone and a lunch break. Morning stage (+/- 75 km, 2h30 driving time) The morning section will take you to the northern part of the Ypres rally history. After a start on the podium in Ypres, we head for Boezinge, Reninge, Fintele, Hazewind, Eggewaertskapelle and Alveringem. Diverted routes that, with the exception of Boezinge & Reninge, have not been used in recent years. The road book of the morning section contains various 'Points Of Interest' with references to car racing history. Afternoon stage (+/- 75 km, 2h30 driving time) After lunch, the roadbook contains two competitive tests (1 regularity test on public road and 1 closed road stage). During the regularity test of Watou, with its bumpy asphalt probably the most typical Ypres trial of all Ypres Rally special stages, it is the intention to approach as close as possible an average speed of 50 km / h. At the end of the regularity test you will get the result of your performance. Moments later, a closed road show stage will be run in the center of Mesen. Small roads on cobblestones and the spectators will certainly give you a 'rally feeling', but do not forget that 'fun' & 'safety' prevails! Please note that there will no classification.

6 E. LUNCH RESTART Lunch will take place at the following location: Domein De Lissewal Bolle Meersstraat 28 B-8906 ELVERDINGE You can park your vehicle according to instructions on the map above. The restart is done by a time control according to the start time on the control card. It is strictly forbidden to enter the afternoon section before this start time. A passage along the 'restart-time control' is required to ensure a smooth course of the event. If a registration at the restart control is missing, the access at the show stage of Mesen will be denied (see next page).

7 F. REGULARITY TEST WATOU During the afternoon section, the road book contains a regularity test. A regularity test takes place on public roads. The start, finish and the exact route of the regularity test will be clearly indicated in the road book. The imposed average speed is 50 kilometers per hour. From the start (manned by a marshal) until the end of the regularity test, try to approach the imposed average speed of 50 km / h as accurately as possible. During the regularity test, a marshal will man a time point and record your passage time. The exact location of the time recording point will not be indicated in the road book. A classification of the regularity test will not be made, but at the end of the regularity test a marshal will tell you the 'ideal' passing time.

8 G. SHOW STAGE MESEN During the afternoon section, the road book contains a passage at the show stage of Mesen. The show stage will be organised on closed roads. The exact route of the test will be clearly indicated in the road book. The test is 'just for fun' and there is no time registration. In case of improper driving behavior, marshals will immediately intervene. Do not forget that safety prevails!
