1 Issue Date: Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 BRONCOS VISIT BEARS; LOOK TO REMAIN ATOP AFC WEST WITH THIRD CONSECUTIVE WIN Tied for first place in the AFC West, the Broncos (5-5) make their first visit to Soldier Field since 1993 this week to face the Chicago Bears (4-6) on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 3:15 p.m. CST. In their most recent action, the Broncos posted four touchdowns of at least 40 yards in a game for the first time in their 48-year history during a win against Tennessee on Monday Night Football., which became the first NFL team since Minnesota in 2003 to record four 40+yard TDs in a game, scored on two passing plays, one rushing play and a punt return from that distance to notch its second consecutive win. Owners of the NFL s best record (10-2 /.833) since 2000 in the game following a MNF appearance, the Broncos face a Chicago team that lost at Seattle last week. The defending NFC Champion Bears are the second Super Bowl participant from last season that will play in 2007 with the club already having gone against Super Bowl XLI-winner Indianapolis earlier this year. With the Chargers and Chiefs losing last week, and San Diego are tied for the AFC West s best record with six weeks left in the regular season. The Broncos, who are in the fourth game of a stretch in which they play six of eight contests on the road, are 11-3 (.786) away from home in November since 2000 and own an 11-6 (.647) record in their last 17 road games dating back to Set to make the 16th start of his career on Sunday, Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler ranks second in the NFL in third-down completion percentage (71.8) and third in third-down passer rating (120.5).
